'This place is huge,' I thought as I reviewed the impressive library in Ice King's castle. "I wonder how much of it is actually of use though?" I turned to the Ice King to see him looking around like he's never seen the place. 'Did he forget about this?'

"This is new, hehehe," Simon suddenly speaks up.

'I forgot he laughs like that. I can't even tell if it's high or low,' I thought. "Yeah, real convenient we just happened to bump into a bookcase and it broke the ice." 'I definitely didn't do that on purpose.' 乁( ⁰͡ Ĺ̯ ⁰͡ ) ㄏ

As the Ice King and I explored the library, I took note of the coat and glasses nearby. 'Now that I think about it, doesn't this world have an internet? Considering Simon could hire that flame hitman on a future-like computer,' I pondered.

With those random thoughts swirling, I glanced around. 'I wonder how the Enchiridion ended up at Mount Cragdor away from the Ice King's grasp, but then again, tricking Simon in his current state isn't the hardest,' I mused.

Then, a book caught my eye: 'Mystic Rituals And Their Space-Time Applications.' I wondered... this book proves time travel is real, considering it worked in the show to bring Betty from the past. But how exactly do two normal humans write something like this?

Should I just skip reading and go drink some of that weird black blood shown in the spin-off? I mean, I'm the lich, the personification of the end, right? I should be able to drink blood that just makes you evil. It's probably better than the well in the episode I'm introduced, wouldn't it be? It's like what the first magician... he's a Primordial Monster like me, so he couldn't have that bad of effects like shown in the show. Considering a piece of candy with an evil soul did it.

'Would Pep ask for my autograph if I met him?' He definitely would. I am getting majorly sidetracked from my original thoughts. 'What was I thinking about?' Oh yeah, the book. 'Can I time travel with this?' I thought as I looked at it. I'm distracted from opening the book, and Simon appears in front of me.

"What you got there, pal?" he asked, slightly startling me out of my daze, but I had no physical reaction.

"A book," I say. "Come on, we're pals. What's there to be secretive about?" he says, smiling with the widest and sharpest smile he could muster. I just store the book in myself by slightly misting my insides. It's pretty crude; I could probably find a better way, but it works. I'm not scared of ruining the plot because, honestly, what he becomes in the future is just depressing. I think if he's going to summon Betty, I'm going to be there to keep her there.

"It was just a math one," I say, staring at him. "Oooo, nerd," he says back. He acts like a freshman in high school, seriously, but not in a bad way. It's more of an 'I'm doing what I want' kind of way. Anyway, as I take the book out and open it...
