3 Chapter 3: Escape Pt. 2/2

*POV: Unknown

As we look back, in the top of a... you know the drill, a 'skeletal figure' in the cotton candy-like tree with glowing green eyes. Sometimes growing, sometimes becoming a mist-like substance. Anyway…

*POV: Lich

'What the hell is that thing?' I thought as I looked at a yellow bipedal thing with pug-like facial features.

'I don't know if I can judge but dang, that's some uncanny valley shit right there.' I thought as I looked at the 'dog'.

'That should be Jake... and the dude with a, I think, rabbit hat should be Finn, and the third fully pink one is PB. They are talking but I feel something else... a smaller one if you will in Finn's bag. I think I can connect with that one.

I cannot fully feel the other three's minds and mold them as I wish but I can do it to the snail. Let's try.

I start trying to connect to the snail's mind, who I don't remember the name of. I feel it—it's weak, feeble, and easily controllable. As I do that, I make it have surface thoughts like, "Why don't you break some of that amber? It looks good, doesn't it?" It's like a whisper in the back of his mind. Don't wanna leave it too damaged now, do we?

Anyway, as I control the snail to break the amber, I see PB start panicking as the first crack appears. Then, I turn into mist and slip out. I'm not dumb enough to turn back physical after getting out, so I immediately head towards the edge of the room. Dang, the room's airtight beside where they came from. So, I make one giant arm physical and create a hole, at least big enough for me, and float out before Finn and Jake can even register what happened.

As I fly through the hole, I fully take in the sights. It's beautiful, if not a bit unhealthy to look at land. Too much pink for my liking, though.

(A few minutes later)

As I rest on a random branch, I can't help but think about what I'm going to do after this. After all, I can't just live as a hermit, right? Yeah, no. I'm going to explore the world in a different form. The skeleton looks of the Lich are a bit eye-catching, being a skeleton and all. Well, maybe they won't be, but having a bit of skin will definitely help. I'm not going for the human look, maybe something like a rat man? Food for thought.

But for now, what do I do currently? I mean, I can try and find the Infinity Train. That seems fun! Maybe I can explore more than what's shown in the show. There are lots of things to do and so much to think about.
