Vanesse, a college student lead a peaceful life as a romance novel addict. There was almost no novels she had not read, and no authors she was not a fan of. But there was one novel she despised very much, it was " The healer from another world". Just like any other isekai novels, the female lead transmigrates into the novel she reads, adn becomes the female lead, where she has the ability to heal. This made her special and wanted by others since she could heal almost all illness and injuries.

The reason she hated the novel was because all the characters in the novel were psychopaths. No character could be considered normal in it. She had decided to read it only becuase of her friend, who was a fan of it, pestered her to do so. She threw the novel aside after reading a few pages and went out to grab a drink with her friends, having no idea as to what was awaiting her, an event that would turn her whole life upside down.

After enjoying herself, Vanessa got up from her seat to go home. She bid goodbye to her friends and went down the streets thinking as to which novel she should read next. Suddenly she felt dizzy and tried to support herself. She held the wall beside, even so she couldn't stand straight. The next moment she completely blanked out having no sense as to what was happening around her.

Opening her eyes she looked around half conciously, trying to figure out her surronding. She immedietly knew she was not in her room. The room, made of wood, had kinda ancient-like feel with some antique paintings hung on the wall.

' I definitely remeber passing out in the streets. Even if my friends had picked me up i don't have anyone whose house is this old though', she thought deeply with her head sunk low.

The door was opened by a man wearing clothes that resembled a knight's uniform. She stared at him for quite a while until his voice disrupted her train of thoughts.

" I have completed the tasks you ordered", the knight said while kneeling.

Vanessa was still in a daze as she was not able to comprehend the situation she was in. She turned her head only to see a reflection in the mirror unfamiliar to her. Her hair and eyes shone brightly with violet and her face was exceptionally pale, as to her lips, it was plum red.

Her face fell, when she remebered a person who matched this description. It was as clear as blue sky to her, that it was Violet, a character of the novel " The healer from another world". Violet was the head of Savine Family. It was a part of the three strongest family which was a bunch of monsters. She inherited the title when she was only 16 and continued to maintain her status as the head, despite the firece competition for the title. A young prodigy she was, initially had not been recognized. The reason being her core passive to any elements of life.

The world in the novel originally had two fundamental elements, light mana and dark mana. Every creature was to contain either of them to sustain. While light mana was considered sacred, the dark mana was taken to be destructive. Humans together with other creatures contained core in their bodies which was the basis for mana.

As soon as a baby is born, it is immedietly made to undergo a test to recognize the compatibilty of core with light mana. By chance, the core responded to the latter, it was immedietly killed. There was only one clan which was holder of dark core, having a history as deep as an abyss.

The lord of the Demon Clan was the second male lead, who had never been known for mercy.
