4 Start Of School

After my duel I felt exhausted. Not because my aura is depleted like mana but because using aura uses stamina.

So after I am far enough I stop running an sit next to the tree to recover my stamina. And after about half an hour I had enough energy to go start my journey back to my inn back.

But before that I look look at my M stone which is about a handful big. The problem is that the energy it carries is so big it would attract a lot of attention.

But I am no idiot and thought ahead for this and brought a special pouch with me. And no, It doesn't have a bigger space inside, but it does have a special characteristic which is that it can conceal M energy which is what I need.

And just like described, after closing the pouch I couldn't feel the M energy anymore. Before I entered the city I put on my hood so I don't attract attention.

But before I entered the inn I decided that I might as well use my alone time to actually do some sight seeing.

The city is bigger and more advanced than the any city my mom rules over which aren't very much.

I went to the market, and city square and also saw the castle. It was about the same size as my castle and also very beautiful.

After about 2 hours of sight seeing it was around four o'clock I went back to the inn were my guards were. I stayed here for 2 more days before going back home.

1 year later.

Currently I am in a carriage, but I am not alone. I am together with Emma, which makes it clear that my friendship is still good with her. I swear I was rude to her but she still keeps being my friend.

At this point I have just given up in ending our friendship. I have accepted my fate of being the childhood friend of the heroine.

But besides this all has been good. Because I am already older I can train my body more serious. My swordsmanship and footwork have also been going good.

But the best thing of this year is definitely my aura. With the use of the M stone I got a lot of aura. It was so much I almost needed to use this entire year to extract all its M energy with minimal losses.

And now my body is already on the way to be full. Not saying I am at the peak but I am on the way to the next rank. Suddenly I hear Emma saying something getting me out of my thoughts.

"Nico, do you really wanna become a knight. I heard it is very dangerous". Said Emma worriedly.

"Don't worry, I can take care of myself. And I can always come to you if I need help, right". I said smiling while patting her head. Although she may be a bomb, I have spent a long time with her so she does have a spot in my heart.

When I was petting her head I could see her face lighting up while rubbing her head on my face.

"Okay, I will protect Nico. from everyone who wants to steal you from me". She said while mumbling a second part I couldn't understand.

After this little moment we talked a bit before arriving at the academy. The place were I could potentially die if I am not careful. But it also a place full of knowledge and opportunities.

Once I walked out the carriage I saw the beautiful academy building. And even though I had seen it in the game and manga it still truly shocked me. It was just beautiful and you could see how much it is decorated.

And not just the academy itself but also the garden before it which is decorated with trees and flowers creating something beautiful.

And although I have seen some other beautiful place's this is definitely currently the most beautiful place I have seen.

After getting out of my shock I saw Emma who was also looking at me with shinning eyes which just showed how exited she is.

"Come on, lets get our dorm number". I said before departing into this beautiful place with Emma.

"Yes". She said coming to my side.

After entrancing we saw a desk with receptionist with a line and after standing in the back of the line till our turn came.

"Hello, I am Nico Adami and she is Emma D'angelo. We would like our dorm number and key". I said smiling to the receptionist.

"Hhhm, you have number 208 and you have number 119. The first number is for your building, the second for your floor and the third is the room". He said giving me my key and Emma hers.

And just like in the manga, Boys and girls are separated, and also grade. So I will be with only boys from my year and the second year, while Emma the same but with just girls.

So after walking together for a bit we came to the point were we would need to split.

"Emma, I will see you at dinner". I said bye to her.

"Nico, are you sure you don't need my help with something, packing your luggage or keeping you company". She said clearly not wanting to separate from me.

"Emma, I am okay". I said not needing her help, I need to really try to not be seen to much with her.

After separating from Emma, I went to my dorm room which wasn't hard to find. I knocked on the door before entering.

*KNOCK*" Hello I am Nico". I said smiling. I wanted to have a good relationship with my roommate. I saw someone lying on his bed before turning to me. He looked at me clearly judging me before suddenly jumping up.

"OW MY GOD, you are so cute". He said while playing with my cheeks which I don't like.

"Don't pinch my cheeks". I said a bit annoyed which according to his eyes just seemed cute.

"Hello, I am Noah. Nice to meet you". He said after he stops pinching my cheeks. He seemed to be older than me, having green hair with light pink eyes and having a noble aura around him.

I sat on my bed laying my luggage on the ground before asking.

"Hello, Noah, could I ask you what course you are taking"? I said curiously. And like I said before I want to make a good relationship with him.

"Yes, I want to become a scholar". He said with light in his eyes.

"I want to enter the imperial palace and become a official". He said, which didn't really shock me because for men in this world it is the most popular choice.

"Wow, why do you want to enter the imperial palace". I asked truly curious because most people would become a official in their own household.

Because the imperial palace has high standards and its easier to go to their own household so mostly commoners go to the imperial palace,but I don't think he is a commoner.

"Because I want to show my sister that I can become a official, and its the hardest to get in the imperial palace". He said being more serious than before.

And suddenly it all fell in place, green hair, becoming an official and an older sister to prove to. He is a side character and also the younger brother of a FL.

This also showed me that its probably only the ML who became female.

"What do you wanna become". He said to change the topic of the conversation.

"I wanna become a knight in the imperial palace". I said with my eyes dreaming of my future.

"Wow, isn't that's so cool. But isn't that really dangerous". He began in an exited tone which quickly worried like most people.

"Don't worry, I can take care of myself". I said before starting to unpack my luggage. It needs to happen sometime.
