In a Godless World

The world of Impia has had countless factions fighting for power since it began, be it mortal men fighting for territory, mages advising kings and commanding respect or the monsters of the world hiding in the dark, however, there exists a hidden truth in this world, a secret long buried with very few remaining aware of the truth. Without believers, the natural gods had faded out of existence, the ascended returned to mortal beings with their lifespans all but snuffed out and the most unfortunate ones were the gods which embodied forces of nature, their consciousness was all but stripped from them, returning them to thoughtless rules of the world. In this godless world, a change was about to occur. No secret could be suppressed forever, now the truth is going to be unknowingly revealed. Follow our protagonist as he tries to understand the changes happening to him and what they mean, watch as he copes with the new unknown in his life and the new aspects of the world he never knew.
