2 Chapter 2 — The Naruto System

Every bone and fiber in Ren Tainyou's body vibrated with excitement at this moment.

"This is a Sharingan! This is a fucking Sharingan!"

It was as if Ren Tainyou was seeing a long-lost lover, as he checked the reflection repeatedly just to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.

Confirming the eyes were real, he just wanted to jump up in joy.

"Who?—Who's there? Come out, show yourself!"

Though suspicious, Ren Tainyou did as he was told, as he had an inkling of what was going on.

Closing his eyes and concentrating while visualizing going inside his mind, he succeeded, strangely and suspiciously easily too.

Looking around, he noticed he had come to a dark space and was able to see the so-called Naruto System.

In the dark space, he caught sight of a holographic interface suspended in midair, with five other tabs open floating alongside it.

Each tab was labeled in giant robot font at the top center, and the labels were:

— Jutsu's

— Store

— Visual Jutsu's

— Summoning Beasts

— Quest's

"This?" he muttered in astonishment that this was inside his mind.

[Host, this is the Naruto System interface, and this is where you, the host, will be able to learn abilities originating from the world of Naruto.]

The robotic voice interjected again.

"Who are you?"

Although shocked at everything happening, Ren Tainyou was still vigilant of this voice.

[I am the administrator of the Naruto System, and I will act as a guide and assist in the operation of this system.]

The voice answered, but he was still confused about something else...

"Why are you here? What is your goal?"

[This system is a reward from Heavenly Dao; reason — Unknown.]

The best part was that there were no requirements needed to learn the skills inside the Jutsu Tab Window.

As long as you had enough strength, you could learn them anytime.

Inside the Store Tab Window, there were items ranging from Ninja Props to Pain-Killers, Shurikens, Paper Bombs, and so on.

The Visual Jutsu Tab contained everything related to the eyes and their advancements, like the Mangekyo Sharingan.

The Summoning Beast Tab covered all summoning beasts in Naruto, including the Tailed Beasts from 1 to 9 tails.

The Quest Tab provided quests that the host could complete to obtain system rewards, such as system points or props.

Lost in thought after listening carefully to the system, he suddenly asked,

"System, what are the methods to obtain system points?"

Next, the system gave a brief introduction and overview of the main functions of the Naruto System.

"[Host, you can obtain system points by completing quests and also by defeating creatures with energy, such as the Magical Beasts in this Forest, as well as other human beings.]

[Although, just binding this system has given the host 100 Free System Points.]"

"Okay, I understand. Even people... ha."

After listening to the system, he got a basic understanding of this Naruto System.

Things like Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu could not be learned directly from the Jutsu's Tab but had to be learned and practiced until mastery.

However, Visual Jutsu could be learned directly by exchanging it from the Store Tab with System Points.

After understanding the functions of the system and how to use it, he couldn't wait to use it.

Firstly, from the basics, he needed chakra, and that means he had to gather it, as chakra was the basic foundation and driving force for most Jutsu's, like Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and finally Taijutsu.

Though, Taijutsu was the exception as most Taijutsu Techniques didn't require chakra to function, other than that, a person couldn't use Jutsu's without Chakra.

After understanding this, he quickly opened the Jutsu Tab Window and looked for the Chakra Gathering Method.

Chakra is created when two or more primal energies, known collectively as one's 'stamina,' are molded together.

Once a perfect fusion of one's Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy is collected from each of the person's bodily cells, it acts as fuel for Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu.

It can also be used to create Chakra Threads to bind opponents or cut off similar things made from chakra.

Finding the method, he carefully examined it for a few minutes, and then he sat on the ground where he stood and began Cultivating for the first time in this Foreign World.

Although his innate talent in cultivating Battle Qi was very low, to the extent the previous host barely reached Intermediate Fighter after cultivating Battle Qi for 10 years, luckily the cultivation speed of chakra was very fast.

So even with his strength, he could still hunt some Class One or Two Magical Beasts.
