9 The Perfect Qi Breathing Technique

"Let's get started," Brax says with a smile and sits down in a comfortable position, not with one of his legs over the other.

The lotus sitting position is nothing more than a cultural thing and the sitting position has nothing to do with cultivation at all—another useless thing picked up over time by cultivators.

Brax calms his mind and closes his eyes. He now starts to go through the steps in which he will guide the Qi energy from his surroundings into his body.

"Ok, First, take in a deep breath and inhale Qi energy," He does it as he speaks. He feels the Qi energy accompany the air he breathes in through the airway and feels it divide at the Bronchi and enter both of his lungs.

He continues to guide the Qi energy in the Bronchi as they branch into multiple smaller parts known as Bronchioles. These Bronchioles then further branch into even smaller parts known as Alveoli.

Now that the Qi energy has reached the Alveoli inside both of his lungs, he starts fusing it with the blood that has just arrived in his capillaries that cover these Alveoli.

He makes sure to fuse every bit of Qi energy that entered his body into his blood that has just arrived inside these capillaries through the Alveoli.

With Qi energy fused with his blood, he now has control over them, so he continues to guide them through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium of his heart and carry it into the left ventricle of his heart.

He then guides this Qi energy through the Aorta and lets the Qi energy travel all across his body through his arteries, infusing every single cell in his body with Qi energy.

Every major organ in his body, from his brain to his liver, to even his skin, gets infused with Qi energy. But before that, he also guides a certain amount of Qi energy into the coronary arteries from the Aorta to strengthen his heart, as they also have a set of arteries and veins that supply the heart with blood to function.

Brax feels euphoric as every single cell in his body feels like they are being energized, it feels like a current is running through his whole body.

Now that every single cell in his body is infused with Qi energy, he continues to guide the Qi energy and brings it back to his heart through both his superior and inferior vena cava veins into the right atrium of his heart and then into the right ventricle.

He then starts condensing all the Qi energy and stores it in his heart, completing his very first Qi breathing cycle.

Though the process seems long, it all happened within seconds. With the Qi energy removed from his blood in his right ventricle, it enters his pulmonary artery and goes into his lungs to get refilled with Qi energy again.

Brax repeats this process again and again as he breathes in and out. He breathes in all the Qi energy and only releases air, wasting nothing in the process.

As he does this, he doesn't notice a cataclysmic event that covers the entire continent of Arzen.

The sky becomes golden, and a surreal vibration that sounds like a hum can be heard all across the continent.

Every living being, be it a human or a beast, looks up at the sky as they witness this unfathomable event take place.

They are shaken to their core, as they can't believe what they are witnessing.

A very handsome-looking man who is wearing a very extravagant robe is looking up at the golden sky with shaky eyes.

This man is the emperor of the country of Azura, the strongest and biggest country in the Arzen continent. 

Beside him is a very old man who is also equally shaken as the emperor. "Teacher... Is this what I think it is?" the emperor questions.

"Yes... the heavens are acknowledging something..." the old man says with a shaky voice. He can't believe his own words as he speaks them. "Doesn't that mean?" the emperor questions. Even he can't believe his own thoughts. "Yes, something perfect has been born or created..." the old man confirms his thought.

A silence follows.

Not just them, but the whole continent falls into an eerie silence as they watch the heavens hum and acknowledge the creation of something perfect. Something that has no flaw, something greater than the Heaven level.

It is not just the emperor of the Azura country and his teacher, but every powerful being on the continent of Arzen is shaken to their core by this revelation.

Mortals are on their knees praying as they are not able to comprehend what is happening in the slightest. Some cultivators are panicking as they realize what is happening right now.

The whole world has been set ablaze. Even the beings of the other continents witnessed the heavens acknowledging something over the Arzen continent.

While the whole world is going crazy because of the cataclysmic event, the person who is the reason behind this event has no clue as to what is happening, as he is busy focusing on the new Qi breathing method he just created.

He repeats the process over and over again and tries to force his body and mind to perform this act on a subconscious level, and within a few minutes, he achieves it. He makes it so that he is cultivating by just breathing normally.

Brax opens his eyes and feels incredible change. He can feel his body self-cultivating as he breathes in the air.

He doesn't even have to put his mind to it as he feels the Qi energy enter his body automatically and infuse into his cell on its own.

Brax suddenly feels a burst of energy enter his body as he makes a breakthrough to the first stage of the Qi condensing realm.

He feels overwhelming power coursing through his body. Brax is more powerful than when he was in the 4th stage of Qi condensing. In fact, the gap he feels from his previous state to now is 10 times greater and he is only in the first stage of the Qi condensing realm.

"This just proves I was right. Perfection has been achieved," Brax says with a smile.

Before he can even celebrate his achievement, he notices the bright golden light entering his room through the window. He can also hear the serene humming in the air, as if every molecule is vibrating at a certain frequency to create this sound.

Astonished by it, he looks out and sees the sky has turned golden.

Brax rushes out of his house, looks up, and sees the massive golden sky swirling, releasing a dense amount of Qi into the environment.

He looks around and sees that it is not just him, every outer sect disciple is out of their house, looking at the great cataclysmic event.

"What the fuck is going on?" He questions.
