13 The Empire In Trouble

As Brax and Peter make their way out of the Alchemy hall, Brax is lost in his thoughts.

'My method seems to be more potent than I expected,' He thinks. The reason Brax thinks this is because the inner-sect disciples he just encountered disappointed him.

As cultivators, the stronger one can easily identify the realm and stage of someone weaker than them, but to Brax's surprise, he was able to identify the strength of those inner-sect disciples easily.

With just a glance, he figured out that both Jenny and Joe were in the 5th stage of the foundation-establishing realm.

He also realizes that the Qi energy inside him is much richer and denser than both Jenny and Joe.

But then he thought of something. If his Qi energy is richer and denser than both Jenny's and Joe's, how did Peter figure out that he advanced into the 5th stage of the Qi condensing realm when he is significantly weaker than Brax?

Brax quickly realizes that just having a higher realm will allow you to peer into a lower-stage cultivator's cultivation, no matter what the difference in strength is between them. But it is also good to know that a cultivator whose Qi is richer and denser than someone of a higher realm can also peer through their cultivation.

He is confident that he can take them on in a fight. He also knows that if someone finds out about this, they will have a mental breakdown.

The power gap between Brax and Jenny is not a few stages. It's a whole realm. From the memories of the previous Brax, a cultivator who can defeat another cultivator with one-stage higher cultivation can be considered a genius and someone who can defeat a cultivator with two-stage higher cultivation can be considered a freak.

Brax wonders how will the world react when they learn that he can fight toe to toe against someone who is a whole realm higher than himself.

Escaping out of his thought process, he looks at Peter. "What pills did you get?" Brax asks. "I bought some low-grade Qi-infused pills," he says and takes out a pill bottle containing 10 pills inside them.

Qi-infused pills are pills that contain a lot of Qi energy in them, and taking one is equivalent to cultivating for a few days within a few minutes.

"How much did it cost you?" Brax asks. "10 spirit stones," Peter says and sighs as he has been quickly flushing his money down the drain during these past few days.

"10 spirit stones for low-grade Qi-infused pills? Isn't that too much?" Brax asks. "Yes, it is, but what can we do? The alchemy guild is the one that allocates the prices, and it's still an acceptable price since Qi-infused pills are extremely important to us," Peter explains.

Qi-infused pills are extremely important and high-grade pills are even sought out by Core creation cultivators because of how much Qi one of them can contain.

This made Brax think. He is now more certain than ever that he is going to be an alchemist and amass a ton of wealth.

Brax and Peter return to their house. Without wasting much time, Brax starts going through the Alchemy guide.

While Brax is busy with a new task at hand, the world is still in chaos. The heaven's acknowledgment has caused great turmoil in the continent of Arzen. Many empires are already making moves.

But the emperor who is troubled the most is of the Dharian country. It is clear as day that heaven's acknowledgment was focused on the country of Dharian as heaven's gate opened right above it.

It is in his empire that the Perfect technique, artifact, or spiritual plant got created, and because of this; he is shitting his pants.

The emperor just hopes that this Perfect thing is a technique. Because if it's a perfect level technique, it means that a very powerful cultivator created it, meaning even some of the strongest cultivators in the world might struggle to fight this person. But if it's a perfect-level artifact or a spiritual plant, then his empire is done for.

A perfect-level artifact can be created by a cultivator or it can form naturally. But creating a perfect-level artifact is even harder than creating a Perfect technique.

The last time a perfect-level artifact was created was a million years ago by an Immortal emperor of the Azura country.

So the emperor doesn't think that a perfect-level artifact was made because there are no immortal emperors in this era, so it's either a naturally created artifact or a perfect-level spiritual herb born after millions and millions of years of growth.

Any of these will plunge his empire into chaos as the neighboring empires might start a war against him and try to invade his territory in search of this perfect thing. Not just his neighboring countries, but even some powerful countries with Ascension dimension cultivators might come knocking, even some powerful rouge cultivators will start exploring the territories of his empire.

The emperor of Dharian country is sitting on his throne right now with a heavy frown on his face as he stares at his ministers, who are also not doing any good.

They know that even they will not be spared in the upcoming chaos that is about to descend on their empire. But some of the ministers are giddy by this revelation as they know they are going to come out better than ever when the chaos descends.

"I want everyone out there looking for this thing, search every corner of the country, leave nothing behind. I want to know what it is before the other empires start poking around," the emperor ordered.

Being an emperor of a small empire, he knows his nation doesn't have the strength to protect itself. So by finding and acquiring it first before the other countries starts invading, he could lend it to some powerful empire and gain them as an important ally.

He can still turn this disaster into something positive for his country. He just hopes that things go as he plans.
