After returning to the kingdom, Sora left a clone to form a mental-based technique, which would remain within the kingdom to make sure everything was running well. meanwhile, He left with Evelyn and Emilia into a mid-grade gold rank dungeon.
"Emilia you should go first, go crazy," Sora said calmly, the boss within this dungeon was powerful, among his grade dungeon it was none one of the stronger ones. This was because it was cultivated within the 3 cultivation system and it was at level 6 of the 5th stage of cultivation, with a strength measurement of 2,500,000 it was not an easy target to mess with.
Emilia hesitated for a moment, she was not a fighter, but she still nodded in the end and went forward and killed a strange red skin monster that looked like the devil. once she killed that monster, she felt she formed karma with many new beings, billions of new life forms.
she breathed slightly before pulling out a sword and went on to hold onto these karma strings, with a cut than she could kill the person on the other end. She didn't even need to see them or know who they are. this was her power, she could kill any enemy out there before the said enemy even know they are enemies
"don't, kill them in person and go berserk," Sora said calmly, Emilia froze for a moment but she nodded in understanding. She just didn't want to get dirty, but she knew the use of getting stronger and quickly entering the 4th stage of cultivation.
"Is it a good idea to rely on going berserk for quick improvement?" Evelyn asked while watching Emilia whose kill count was skyrocketing, slowly losing herself in the act of slaughter.
"We are running on a small time, so such things have to be thrown out the window for the time being. when we have time to waste, I want all of us to start training to control ourselves within that berserk state." Sora said calmly to which Evelyn nodded in understanding and watched Emilia,
after a few minutes, Emilia had gone berserk, completely losing herself. Karma Qi filled the air, and all over the dungeon, monsters began dying out as their life forces were sucked dry by Emilia. Sora's pupils shrank seeing through.
though the link of karma, Emilia was clearing out the whole dungeon, but she was not happy with just lifeforce, she wanted more death Qi. So, though out the dungeon, monsters began falling to the ground, like puppets with their strings cut, and as if the strings of karma were a straw, Emilia sucked the death Qi towards her. long with the souls, out of the 14 positions, the karma position was the most dangerous, and deadly
In a matter of minutes, every monster was killed. they were all left defenseless, they were unable to run hide or do anything. They couldn't even find Emilia to put an end to this, they were like a naked baby trying to block a bullet. they were defensive, clueless, and hopeless,
but not every monster was killed, Sora had protected one of the monsters and brought death to its karma, this protected it from Emilia, and Emilia could only stand there in the dungeon for some time without anything else to do before she turned her attention towards the Dungeon entrance, where she shot towards if she were to leave, there were a small number of people in this world who could hope, the whole planet would be slaughtered,
"Emilia, sit down and refine that energy." Sora's voice boomed across the sky, making Emilia freeze for a moment. Emilia sat down on the spot and began doing what she was told to do, seeing this Sora sighed softly and waited,
Soon, the sky shook and storm clouds gathered. Emilia looked at the sky with a bloodthirsty smile, Sora and Evelyn moved back to not get caught in the tribulation, and so Evelyn's tribulations began
meanwhile back in the Undying Kingdom, Sora watched Hana who was seating food, she seemed to be like a person who haven't eaten for years. it helped that the food was out of this world, while she enjoyed the meal with closed eyes, she felt someone looking at her. opening her eyes slightly, she looked around and her heart dropped seeing Sora who was watching her while drinking some tea.
Hana felt a part of herself die on the spot, this was too humiliating, her face turned red before she turned to run away. but She stopped upon hearing Sora's words,
"you should eat up, all I did was give your physique the energy needed to awaken and heal your body from the many years of no movement. your body still needs to learn a few things, so eat up. once you can go on with a normal life, the sooner I can help you unleash that physique power." Sora said calmly before drinking some tea,
Hana looked like an audit, but at heart, she was only a teenager, she only entered da deep sleep because of her physique, she was only 14 years old back then, so, at heart, she had the mindset of a 14-year-old within a body of a 25-year-old.
So, she is a teenager being saved by someone so handsome and even being taken in even after her parents abandoned her, how could she not fall in love? although currently small, and nothing too big, in Sora's hands that was good as huge.
Hana nodded slightly at Sora's words before sitting down to eat, the food she had was liquid-type food, she couldn't eat solids just yet. think time, she eats extremely slowly, more ladylike.
"Once you do eating, I plan to take you out shopping. you can use new clothing and whatever you want, a week from now, we can begin cutting." Sora said with a smile,
"... no, you don't have to do all that," Hana said in shock, but Sora shook his head slightly,
"I took you in, you are now one of my people. I will take care of you, and make sure you have no worries. If you need something or have anything on your mind, I will always be here. so put your faith in me," Sora said with a charming smile, making Hana blush slightly, but she nodded weakly,
'It safe to say she might have abonnement issues, females like this would grow attention to a male figure who they would want to play a father role. although from my research, they are the most likely to cheat on you. but they are also the easiest to control. they could remain in an abusive relationship and put the personing abusing them above their son.' Sora thought while looking at Hana who was eating slowly, he was only shocked that the humans of this world seemed to have a similar mindset to those back on earth, then again, humans will be humans.
"is something wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Sora asked in worry, to which Hana nodded shyly, not knowing what Sora was trying to say.
"then why are you eating so slowly? if you hurt, I can feed you. there is no need to hide anything from me. I have seen and heard of people hiding injuries from others, don't do that." Sora said seriously, his eyes filled with care which melted Hana's heart. She thought only her little brother could show such care for her, but to think a person she just met a few hours ago cared so much.
"I'm alright, I..." Hana didn't know how to explain, but seeing the look in Sora's eyes, she realized Sora thought she was hiding an injury from her. seeing Sora sigh softly and walk towards her, she thought Sora was angry, but Sora sat next to her and took a spoon.
"everyone gets injured, there is nothing shameful about it. so long as you are strong and healthy, that's all that matters." Sora said as he held out a spoon to Hana, Hana's face was red but she slowly opened her mouth and eat.
"your face is red, you're not coming down with any illness right? I will have a bath ready for you, I will then check your body to see if I missed anything. Maybe your physique might be in some type of conflict with you." Sora fell into deep thought, making Hana's eyes slowly water. seeing this, Sora shot up,
"I'm sorry, did I mean to hurt you? I'm sorry," Sora said making Hana slowly shake her head,
"... No one has ever treated me so nicely," Hana said softly, to which Sora froze slightly, before he hugged Hana, making her freeze.
"Life has been hard on you and James, I'm sorry. I know how it feels being unwanted by your family." Sora said softly, stunning Hana slightly, who slowly removed her tears.
"Really?" Hana asked as she looked up at Sora, Sora nodded slightly before sitting down next to her and slowly explaining how he grew up. Hana's eyes widened while hearing Sora's story,
"no one choices their parents, but we can choose our family, as you did," Sora said softly before looking deeply into Hana's eyes, making Hana's face turn red. the two looked at each other for some time, while their head slowly came closer to each other. slowly, their eyes closed as their lips came into contact.
after a small kiss, the two slowly pulled their heads back, but Hana was unable to look at Sora, that was her first kiss...
meanwhile, in a high-grade dungeon, Elsa and Yalan were fighting, with Cai Yi watching them with a blank look. her mind was still at last light, unable to wait for when the next time she could enjoy herself like that with her husband,
Yalan who was berserk soon regained her sense of reasoning, looking around blankly for a moment, she realized what happened and looked at Elsa to see if she was alright, but Elsa's injuries were quickly healing, although it took a few seconds.
"Your anti-healing effect is super annoying," Elsa said with a sigh while looking at her maid outfit which was damaged. she could counter Yalan's Anti-Healing power with her Celestial Pride, how dare Yalan tell her she can't heal?
"Shouldn't Cai Yi have helped you... oh." Yalan sighed softly seeing Cai Yi within her world on top of a mountain, she was like a high school girl who had fallen in love. but she couldn't be blamed, they too wanted to enjoy themselves with Sora once more, but Sora was too busy, and adding the fact the world might be coming to end within a few months, they had no time for any of that.
of course, these were all reasons they made for themselves, Sora always had time to enjoy himself.
"what? you guys are already done?" Cai Yi asked seeing them looking at her before her face turned slightly red, she dazzled out and completely forgot everything, but it was not like she was truly needed. one of them was enough to fight the other to the death, at least long enough to have the other leave their berserk state.
"let go to the next dungeon," Yalan said with a sigh, so they left, and once they did miners from the Undying Kingdom stepped to mine the resources within and take them back to the kingdom,
well, time passed, and in the blink of an eye, 5 days went by. Sora stood on top of a mountain while looking at every monster within the dungeon lining up before Evelyn and being absorbed by them. the new power Evelyn gained was the power to absorb lifeforms to gain strength while improving her current ability.
for example, if she absorbed a dog, her sense of smell and hearing would improve. not enough to match the dog, but it shall be many times stronger than the normal human. if she keeps absorbing dogs, her senses shall keep improving.
the senses will not be the only thing improving, but the dog's other senses, stamina, speed, and so on would be gained. the same with for animal resistance, this would make Evelyn become the ultimate lifeform, the only thing she had to look out for was her soul as she might forget to cultivate it,
