Shooting up, Sora looked at his burnt clothing for a moment, before sighing softly as he sensed the core within his dantian, just a few more and he would break through.

the 3rd sound soon came, Sora faced 4 dragons this round, and this time Sora's clothing was burnt cleaning off. Sora's body had slightly burnt marks, but they disappeared soon after.

the 4th round fell 10 seconds later, and 8 lightning dragons fell from the sky. Sora was sent rocketing down into the earth while coughing up a mouthful of blood from the impact. but a few breaths later, he shot out of the ground, his injuries healed up,

the 5th round fell 15 seconds later, 16 dragons rained down, and by then the lightning rod turned bright red, reaching its limit. Sora was sent back down into the ground, his body burnt black, taking deep breaths, the burnt skin began falling, revealing fresh new skin.

the 6th round fell 20 seconds later, and 32 dragons ran down. the lighting rod turned to ash, leaving Sora to take the full impact of these 32 dragons. Sora let out a roar, and his shadows shot out, followed by his Death God Aura filling his body to strength his strength,

Sora fell towards the ground, but there was only a huge pit below, So he forced himself to remain up and fly to the edge of the cliff. out of energy, he left the death God mood and returned to his normal form, but he didn't panic,

with a thought, the undead left his system storage, and he devours their lifeforce to restore his energy. as these were his undead, they are linked through karma, so they are refined and strengthened through karma, which was just broken

the undead was strong enough to give Sora the energy needed to restore his energy, just in time for the next round, entering the same state once more, Sora's hair turned white, his pupils turned blood red, and his death God Aura was infused into his body... this time the process was slightly before than before.

the clash of the two forces lasted a few seconds, but in the end, the lightning broke through, raining down upon Sora. but the remaining power of such lightning dragons was nothing to Sora, who simply ignored them and caught his breath.

once the lightning hit, Sora quickly pulled out the undead and began devouring them. he was out of energy once more, and it took him some time to restore his energy, and once at 100%, he knew what he needed to do to pass the next round.

10 clones gathered, all within their strongest state, and their shadows standing behind side them, already Sora's energy dropped to 20%, but it was just enough for one attack from all of them

the 11th round fell, and 1,024 lightning dragons fell. Sora and his clones along with the shadows let out a roar, and all of them shout out the Ulmite Figner Beam at the sky. the beams spun around each other, before coming together to form one super huge beam, and clashed with the dragons,

Sora put the remaining energy into that attack, and to his relief, the beam didn't just clash with the lightning dragon, after a few seconds it overwhelmed the dragons, although the beam disappeared a few breaths after that.

Sora fell to his knees, and out of breath, he pulled out his undead and began to devour them. within a few seconds, he had regained enough energy to get ready for the incoming round, creating the same 10 clones,

the 12 rounds fell, and this time the number of dragons didn't number, instead, one huge dark blue dragon formed. this dragon was huge, stretching out the form as far as Sora could see, Sora's heart dropped for a moment seeing the power this thing had. 300,000, how the fuck was he to face such a monster, even a level 5 void realm cultivator would struggle before such a thing.

Sora's eyes spun, searching for the string of life. He looked at everyone, that was honestly the only way he could pass this round. as the lightning dragon got ready to fall, Sora's eyes landed on a small green string on the top of the lightning dragon's head,

Seeing that, he knew what he needed to target. So, he began charging up the attacks along with his clones, but the shadows didn't move to attack. the lightning swam in the clouds for a few seconds before it shot down at a blinding speed,

the clones all shot the beam at the incoming dragon, meanwhile, all of the shadows shot out, attention themselves to the lightning dragon shadows. the lightning dragon instantly came to a sudden stop, it was like someone to a remote and paused the dragon.

Blood suddenly shot from Sora and the clone's noses, eyes, ears, and both. the clans which were shot forward didn't fuse, and instead, they were simple small beams, all aimed at the string of life. just when the dragon came to a pause, a heartbeat later, the beams hit the strong, cutting it.

At the same time, the dragon broke free and continue on its fall, but it was turning into dust. by the time it reached Sora, Sora's clones had already disappeared and he was left defenseless. the dragon swallowed Sora, turning Sora's flesh to dust and leaving only his bones.

As Sora fell to the ground, his bones turned to dust which was swallowed by the core. once Sora's bones were all swallowed, the core slowly began molding, while at the same time, the clouds above began to split apart, and a ray of light bathed the core, blessing it with energy that helped with the molding.

Slowly, the core began transforming, and the core began taking the form of pure white bones, which soon formed a complete human skeleton. Death Qi gathered around the body, which came to form flesh, blood, muscles, vines, and organs.

As skin covered the body, the body took the appearance of Sora, but he was far more handsome than before. such charm couldn't be put into words it would make one question if such a degree of looks could be birthed.

Slowly, Sora's chest moved, and with that first breath, he slowly let out a breath that was filled with a huge amount of Life Qi which brought life to the area around Sora, but with another breath in, all of that life died out, only to come back to life once more, stronger than before. but again, they died once Sora took a breath in.

the pattern continue, and soon, the life around Sora had turned into a thick lively forest, but it would die once Sora took a breath in, and come back to life stronger than before once he breathed out.

in the sky, the Emperor appeared, a shocked look on his face while looking at the damage caused by the tribulations, his eyes instantly landed on the forest which kept dying and coming to life, and he was stunned

'evolution?' he thought in shock, the sight before him was pretty much evolution, every time Sora breathed out, the plants around him grew, trying to life adapt to what was killing them. but it was only buying them a millisecond of extra time. maybe one day it would be able to live through a breath, but that was hard to say when.
