Chapter 43: Hunting Bloodsuckers

Arriving on Owari no Seraph world with a portal, we just accepted the quest of hunting vampire and I came with my two siblings on a ruined city. I decided to choose this quest since this will be the easiest quest among the three posters in Inter-dimensional Quest Board. Shizu-nee felt lazy and she doesn't really want to come with us but our problem was the pre-requisite of the quest and it a 3 person mission.
"Shizu-nee, I understand that you want to slack off at home but you actually don't have to do anything and just watch us do the job."
"Uuuuuu... I'm already at the climax. I want to read the next chapter of that Shoujo Manga!"
"Just endure it a little bit. I need the skill points to upgrade my skills." I took off my blindfold and looked around the city with my Six Eyes.
"Fine, let's just finish this quickly!" Shizu-nee summoned out her bow weapon, "Enterprise, engage!"
I sensed a group of young soldiers walking together in a distance and they all looked very familiar as I recognize the salty main character in their squad.
"Lolisa, I want you to intercept the squad of soldiers in that direction! They are approaching the base of those vampires and I don't want them stealing our preys." I pointed.
"Yes, Onii-sama!" Lolisa called out her weapons and flew to the sky with her pair of white devil wings, going to the direction that I told her.
"Lucifugus."
I took out my Katana from my spatial storage and hanged it on my waist.
"Now then... Let's go, Shizu-nee. We will hunt on another location." I wrapped my right arm around Shizu-nee's waist.
"Eh?"
I leaped and flew to the sky while carrying my big sister like a baggage.
"Gyaaaah! Haru-kun, you idiot! You should warned me first!" she screamed very loud.
Scanning the whole city with my Six Eyes while levitating in the sky, I can clearly see all the corner where all the vampires are hiding in group.
I could finish them off quickly with my incomplete Malevolent Shrine but I decided not to use it since it would be very boring.
"Hm?"
While carrying my big sister, I noticed something with her weight.
"Is it me or did you get heavier, Shizu-nee?"
"That's rude! You shouldn't talk about a lady's weight!" she retorted.
After choosing a place to land, it was a large building with large number of vampires guarding around.
"Over there."
I used teleportation to arrive at the place and called them out to get their attention.
"Hello there!"
All the vampires got alerted and pulled out the weapons, gathering together to surround us.
"Oh, this is bad! We're surrounded!" I spoke with sarcastic tone.
"You lowly inse--"
One of the vampire yelled but his head got thickly sliced like a meat diagonally and fell off from his body before he can finish his words. This shocked the other vampires because they didn't saw us attack or move to draw my sword. Their comrade's body turned to ashes before it fall down to the ground.
"What happened?"
"I don't know!"
When they all glanced to me while I'm moving my bangs behind from my forehead as I looked down on them.
"Stop acting mighty if you're weak. Know your place!"
"Damn you--"
The next vampire fell off and go sliced off in every parts of the body then disappeared into ashes.
"I haven't told anyone to move. Make single movement and you're dead!" I announced.
"Who would listen--"
Another one got sliced and turned to ashes. The remaining vampires got very nervous and some of them got frightened so decided to run away which is futile.
"Gyaaaah!"
"Waaahh!"
"Help me!"
I sighed, seeing them one by one died with my slashes and disappeared.
Shizu-nee was froze in shock watching me cruelly killing them until she realized that her guard was down and one of the vampires took advantage of it.
"Huh?"
"Don't move! Or I will kill this woman!"
The vampire looks so confident while pointing the blade on my big sister's neck and he even made her bleed by giving her a small wound which I wouldn't forgive and made me furious.
Before the vampire noticed, his hand which is holding his weapon got severed and I'm holding it my hand when I appeared close to them.
"Huh?"
I smiled at the vampire before I sliced him into small pieces.
"Don't touch my big sister with your dirty hands."
When I glanced to the remaining vampires, I decided to finish all of them including the one who is hiding and watching us in the distance.
"Blame your progenitors who turned you into bloodsuckers."
I turned back to my usual self and quickly checked my big sister.
"Are you okay, Shizu-nee? Let me heal your injury."
I gently caressed the wound on her neck and used reverse cursed technique to heal her.
"Such an overpowered ability."
"You should upgrade your skills too.
"Nah, I'm not interested in fighting unlike my delinquent little brother." she turned around from me.
"You'll gain weight if you don't move your body, Shizu-nee." I pinched her sides and she smacked me in the head as she pouted.
Haru-kun is such an idiot. You shouldn't call your big sister fat."
"Onii-sama! Onee-sama!"
Lolisa has returned and descended down as her pair of devil wings disappeared.
"Oh, Lolisa, how was it?"
Lolisa sighed then she responded.
"I defeated the vampires including the humans facing them."
"Hey--"
"Worry not, I only knocked them out. That main character is such a pain. He suddenly attacked me too."
"I see."
Checking our progress on my flip phone, it seems like we already completed our mission and the rewards has been distributed.

When I glanced at Lolisa who did the same, she sighed and told me,
"Same here, Onii-sama. It's all skill points."
"What about you, Shizu-nee?"
When I turned towards Shizu-nee, she was staring at the glowing crystal-like cube floating in her hand.
"What is that?"
"This is a Wisdom Cube. It's a mysterious object from my home world." she explained.
I can sense a powerful energy from the cube as I tried to poke it with my index finger.
*Mama!*
As sparks happened, someone suddenly spoke into my head.
"Huh?"
It was a voice of a young girl calling her mother. This made me felt concerned and tried to touch the cube longer.
Shizu-nee panicked when she saw my hand burning which I endured while activating my reverse cursed technique to heal my hand.
"Haru-kun! That's dangerous!"
"Just watch and stay still!"
*How dare they experimented with my Mama's body! I won't forgive those adults! I want my Mama back! They lied to me! I won't follow what they say anymore! Give my Mama back!*
The voice of little girl keep speaking on my head with full of grudge.
*I want all of you to bring my Mama back!*
Memories of a little girl flowed into my mind and I saw her appearance identical to Shizu-nee or Lolisa when they are still children. She was in a white room solving a long complicated math problem on a blackboard with several scientist watching over her.
"What is this?"
"What's wrong, Haru-kun?"
One of the scientist patted the little girl in the head and she smiled.
"Can I meet my Mama now? When will I able to see her?"
"Sorry, not yet. She is somewhere far away and she can't meet you right now."
The little girl became sad then she went and sat on the corner of the room.
"It's a success! She inherited Dr. Shizuka's genius intellect!"
"Yeah, I hope that someday she can replace her mother and represent our country again!"
The scientist are happy with the results while little girl was crying.
The scenes in the memories changed and the little girl was staring at a container in some laboratory. The container has preserved human head of a woman inside and the little girl was shocked seeing the name of the head on the container which blew my mind. Tears fell from little girl's a
eyes as she touched the container with her hand.
"Mama..."
The memories ended and I woke up to reality, seeing the cube lighting up a bright light.
"Huh?"
When my vision returned, a younger version of Enterprise appeared in Shizu-nee's hands. We, three siblings are staring weirdly at the little girl as I slowly moved away.
"Okay then... I'm going ahead--"
Shizu-nee put down the child and grabbed me in the shoulder.
"Wait!"
"It's a small version of you just like with Belfast and Little Bel. I have nothing to do with it!" I slapped her hand and ran away.
"Hey! You are my commander, remember?"
"I haven't agreed yet!"
Shizu-nee chased after me while teary-eyed.
Our past lives are really dark.
