Chapter 23: Magic Item Crafting

Visiting Megumin's home to ask her father to take me as his apprentice and learn magic item crafting from him, in the living room with poor tatami floor and old small table which look repaired several times, I was sitting between Megumin and Yunyun with Komekko on our side eating nonstop the jelly filled donut on the boxes which I bought as a gift for their family.

Sitting in front of us was Megumin's parents, her mom and dad who was staring at me the whole time and judging my behavior. They dramatically introduce themselves in Crimson Demons way which is their name was Hyoizaburoo, Megumin's father and Yuiyui, her mother.

"Can I have all of this?" Komekko asked me then I smiled at her and responded.

"Sure, but don't eat too much or you won't enough space for lunch. I will make something more delicious." I whispered to her like it was secret.

"Really? Yay!" I patted her head.

"Megumin, you're little sister is really energetic."

"Haru! Didn't you forget why you came here?" Megumin scolded me then I looked straight to her father's eyes but the father instead looked away from me.

"Ugh..."

"I'll be straight to the point! Please take me as your apprentice!" I slightly bowed my head to him.

"Sorry but I would like to refuse." Hyoizaburoo responded.

After a moment silence, everyone was surprised by his sudden change in mind and he refused my request.

"Huh?"

"Wait, Dear! This isn't what we talked about!" Even his wife was shock with his response.

Megumin slammed her hand on the table which made the donuts bounce from the boxes.

"Dad! You told me that you gonna teach him!"

"Sorry but as I said, I already changed my mind."

Megumin was voice her complaints when I raised my hand to calm her down.

"May I ask the reason for sudden change of your mind?"

"I have read things about you from my daughter in the letter and it seems like you tease her quite a lot. You are very close to the Village Chief's weird daughter and my daughter seems to be jea--"

"Shut up, Dad! Just give him a direct answer!" Megumin suddenly yelled with embarrassed tone.

Her father clear his throat then revealed his reason.

*Ahem!* "Soketto has visited me yesterday and I received a divination from her, telling me that I shouldn't passed down my techniques to an outsider and only worthy Crimson Demon shall receive my guidance. That worthy Crimson Demon will marry my daughter in the future and he would bring a mountain of fortune into my family. Hehehe..."

I can see greediness from his face.

Turning towards Yunyun, I asked her about the person who gave the divination.

"Who is this 'Soketto'?

"We met her this morning in the entrance gate of this village. She was the most beautiful girl in that group and she runs a fortune teller shop."

"I see..."

I remembered that beautiful lady but I noticed that Bukololi kept giving her a disturbing glance.

"What are we going to do now, Haru-kun? It seems it is impossible for an outsider like you when he will only takes Crimson Demon as his apprentice."

"Well... It can be helped. Let's just find another way."

After visiting Megumin's home, we toured around the Crimson Demon Village with Yunyun and Megumin guiding me to different tourist spots of the village.

While eating snacks together on a bench with me sitting between them, I completely looked like a western tourist visiting a strange asian country but I'm actually half-Japanese and half-european, the same with my siblings.

"How about our school?" Yunyun suggested by Megumin quickly denied her.

"They don't accept 'Outsiders'."

"I mean, we can borrow some books in the library?"

"We can't take it outside the school campus!"

The three of us sighed at the same time.

Looking around the sceneries of the village, I remembered that the village was surrounded by high level monster.

"Let's go hunting! I want to vent some frustration."

I stood up from my seat and stretched my arms and body.

"What a coincidence. I feel the same!" Megumin followed after me.

"Eh?!"

Yunyun has no choice but come after us.

In the deep forest of where I started brawling with several One-hit Bears and we got surrounded by them.

"My fist aren't working!"

"Isn't that quite obvious? What kind of person will brawl with those monsters larger than them?" Yunyun retorted.

"Well, it's time for me to use that sword."

I opened my spatial storage and took a Katana with a scabbard.

"One-cut Killer... Murasame! Let's see which one of us will take one-hit!"

I slowly unsheathed the katana covered in black aura and the blade was refined and lethal, that it can kill in a single touch.

"Flying Thunder God..."

I rushed forward while throwing a knife that missed the target then I instantly teleported behind the One-hit bears and slashed them from the back.

They only received a non-lethal wound because of their tough skins but black marks emerged from their wound and it spread all over their body until their heart stops and falls down lifelessly.

I jumped on another crowd One-hit bears and cut them one by one while evading all of their lethal attacks.

Suddenly, the monsters I'm fighting got distracted and glanced to a certain direction.

"Rawr!"

They looked afraid until I noticed Megumin chanting a powerful spell.

"Eh?"

"Megumin! What are you doing?!" Yunyun panicked and tried to stop her but it's already too late and Megumin unleashed her spell.

"EXPLOOOOSION!!!"

The largest crowd of monsters in front of me was hit by devastating spell and all of them got eradicated in an instant, including me. But before that happens, I immediately teleported away somewhere randomly.

"Uuugh..."

When I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by Female Orcs and they all look confused. Realizing that I teleported in the middle their camp, I was sweating profusely that I messed up the location.

"Anyway! Thanks for the food!"

Before they can jumped on me, I quickly escaped away and ran as fast as I could.

"Nigerundayo!"

"Wait! Come back here, Sweetie!"

"That little brat! I'll make sure to punish you when I come back!!"

I was chased again by Female Orcs until I arrived back to the Crimson Demon Village.

When I met up with them, Yunyun was carrying Megumin in her back. She looked happy when she saw me and she immediately ran and checked my condition.

"Haru-kun, I'm glad that you're okay!"

"Yeah, that was close."

When I stare down at Megumin, she avoided my gaze and looked away. Out of anger, I grabbed her in the waist and pulled her off of Yunyun.

"Hey! What are you doing? Stop touching me, you pervert!"

Yunyun was so afraid that she didn't stop me as I sat down to an old tree stump and lied down her tummy on my lap while facing down.

"Huh? What are you trying to do? Tell me, what are you planning to do with me?"

I lifted up her skirt from behind and exposed her buttocks wearing a black panties.

"You pervert!"

I pinned her down as she struggled but due to exhausting her Mana from casting explosion spell, she was powerless against me.

Megumin became pale when she saw me raising my right hand.

"Huh? Wait! Don't tell me--"

*Whack!*

I spanked her butt hard which left very satisfying crisp noise that even echoes.

"Ugh... OUCH!!!" Megumin screamed in pain.

Yunyun covered her face in embarrassment, seeing her friend smacked behind like a child with a exposed butt.

"Waaahh... Megumin..." she was trembling.

Megumin was teary-eyed as she tries to move around.

*Whack!*

I smacked her butt again as she made another painful scream.

"OUCH!!"

I wasn't satisfied so I did it several times.

*Whack!*

"OUCH!"

*Whack!*

"Please, not my butt!"

*Whack!*

"Stop it! It really hurts!"

"You just nearly killed me with that explosion!" I yelled, reprimanding her.

*Whack!*

"OUCH!! That hurts! I'm really sorry!"

*Whack!*

"OUCH! Please forgive me!"

*Whack!*

"Uuugh...!"

Megumin covered her mouth and she cried with her reddish face.

*Whack!*

"Uuugh!"

I noticed that her reaction started to change.

*Whack!*

"Mmmmh!"

*Whack!*

"Mmmmh!"

*Whack!*

"Mmm..."

I enjoyed smacking her butt that I didn't notice that she's already swollen behind.

When I finally let go of her, she was holding her butt in pain as she glared at me in shame.

"Remember this! I won't forget this day, you pervert!"

She had a hard time walking and Yunyun lent her shoulder to help her.

"Haru-kun... I know what she did was wrong but she doesn't have any ill intention. I think what you did was too much."

I didn't respond to her and just stood up, watching over them as I sent them to their homes.
