Chapter 21: Goodnight

After few days of staying at our home, Shizu-nee has finally decided to return to her home world. Lolisa who has no plan to return on Neighboring World which is her home world, I asked her to accompany our big sister and guard her if something bad happened.

"Uuuuu... I don't want to go back." Shizu-nee is still nervous when she decided to confront Belfast and her family as Enterprise.

Yunyun who seems to be a bit sad as she bids her a farewell before they left.

"Ummm... Shizuka-oneechan! Farewell..."

"Yunyun!"

Shizu-nee suddenly hugged her again.

"Uuu! I didn't really want to go but I have to! I still want to see you in wedding dress!"

Yelling those words, I went and hit her in the head with a karate chop.

"Ouch! Haru-kun!"

"It's not like you wouldn't able to return! Also, Lolisa will be going with you! Just talk with your relatives over there and that will solve the problem! They can't do anything since you're enterprise now. If they can't accept it, just come back here and live with us!"

Shizu-nee looks happy with my words and she jumped up to me next and hugged me tightly.

"Haru-kun! You're still reliable as ever! Give your big sister as kiss!"

She tried to kiss me but I pushed her face away.

"Shut up! Go away!"

"Don't be shy. You used to kiss me a lot when we're younger, remember?"

"That was when I'm in kindergarten! I'm not aware of what's happening at that time!"

"You even took my first kiss."

"That doesn't count! You did it with me and Lolisa when we're still toddlers!"

I was breathing heavily retorting to her.

"Onee-sama, let's go already!" Lolisa's face was also red in embarrassment.

"Okay! Okay!"

Shizu-nee opened the portal to her home world then she smiled to me before she enters inside.

"I love you, Haru-kun. Please don't leave us again like you did before."

I was surprised by her words as I saw the traces of her sadness from her face.

"Take care, you two."

"We'll be back, Onii-sama!"

The two of them finally entered the portal and left.

I turned towards Yunyun on my side.

"Let's go back. They'll be back before you knew it."

"Yes!"

Yunyun agreed and returned with me to our house.

Few days has passed since my siblings left home and the weather has started to get cold with winter coming. Yunyun and I are sitting in a soft couch in front of the place while covered in blanket together.

"It's been few days now... I wonder how Shizuka-oneechan and Lolisa-san doing right now."

Yunyun looks worried of my siblings.

"To be honest, it's not good but don't worry, they are safe. If things become dangerous, Lolisa will force to move and escape together with Shizu-nee. Currently, Shizu-nee is being suspected of stealing Enterprise's identity even though she didn't. Worse case for her, she will be discharged from her duty which is actually a good thing since she won't have to join the naval battle in her world."

"I hope they come back soon."

I smiled, seeing her missing them.

"They will... If they don't, I will come and drag them back here by myself."

"Hehehe... Please don't be rough with your siblings." Yunyun giggles at my response.

*Knock!* *Knock!* *Knock!*

"Huh?"

Suddenly, someone came knocking at our door in the entrance.

"Haru! Yunyun! Anyone home?!"

We heard the familiar voice calling for us and it was Yunyun's rival Megumin.

Yunyun immediately stood up and went to open the door for them. I followed behind her, yawning out of sleepiness when I saw Megumin accompanied by Aqua.

"Huh? Megumin? Are you guys here to visit me? Let's go inside and let's play chess together!" Yunyun seems to be excited seeing her rival and friend but Megumin just ignored her and turned towards me while giving suspicious stare.

"What? Why are you guys here? Do you need me or something?" I asked.

Megumin shook her head and sighed,

"No, you're the one who asked me a favor. I already sent a letter to my parents and I just received a reply this morning."

It was about my request to learn magic item crafting from her father.

"It's cold and dark here, let's continue this talk inside."

I invited them inside our home and Yunyun went to the kitchen to prepare some tea for them.

After pouring their cups, she sat on my side and listen to our talks.

"What did your father say?"

Megumin took a sip on her tea then she responded while Aqua accidentally turned her tea into water.

"He agreed to take you as his disciple but..."

"What are his conditions?"

"You have to pay a monthly tuition fee."

"I don't mind."

After drinking, Yunyun poured another tea on my cup then I drink it.

"Father said that he's a strict teacher. You have to prepare yourself."

"Obviously, he should."

"You have to look after Komekko and take care of her. Those are his conditions." Megumin sips on her tea while trying to look serious.

"Megumin! That last one is completely unnecessary, right? Why does he have to look after your little sister?! Haru-kun is already busy learning Magic Item Crafting from your father!" Yunyun complained.

"Those are what my father said! I have no control or whatsoever on what's in my father head. In the first place, I already warned this guy that my father is always up to something no good but he still insisted to learn from him!" Megumin pointed at me.

I pinched Yunyun's cheek and replied,

"I'm fine with all of his conditions. I'll go visit Crimson Demon Village tomorrow."

"Eh? Already?" Yunyun and Megumin were shock.

Aqua was walking around the room, poking anything she finds interesting until she saw her Goddess Statue being used as coat hanger and became shock.

"Yunyun... can you accompany me in your village tomorrow?"

"Well..."

Yunyun looked away from me, showing that she really doesn't want to come back to her home village with her indifferent expression but because it's me who is asking her, she decided to come with me in her home village.

"Sure... I'll go with you..."

"Thanks, Yunyun!"

When I smiled at her, she immediately looked away with red face while twirling her tied hair with her finger.

"Haru-kun... You're so unfair!"

"Hehe... I know you can't refuse my request."

I saw Megumin and Aqua staring at us with contempt.

"Anyway, is that all of his conditions in the letter? I don't really mind taking more jobs and--Huh?"

Megumin suddenly made an annoyed expression.

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing!"

She looked away when I asked her which is really suspicious and quite obvious that there's something else written in the letter.

"Tell me!"

"I already told you, it's nothing! Why are you so sharp with this kind of things. You're really annoying!"

She was so mad at me but her cheek are blushing.

"It might be something personal between family so I won't ask no more."

I stood up and pointed my thumb in the kitchen.

"How about joining us for dinner tonight? I just tried a new recipe today and it's kind of similar to meat stew."

"Yes..."

Aqua and Megumin drooled when they heard the menu.

After having dinner, Aqua got drunk with the wine I served her and she fell asleep on the couch while hugging the bottle in her arms. Megumin was playing chess with Yunyun in the living room. She was clearly cheating in the game that Yunyun always ended up losing but she didn't mind since she's having fun playing with her.

"A-a-a-choo!"

I sneezed and felt chill suddenly.

"Haru-kun, did you catch a cold?" Yunyun asked me.

"Nah, I'm fine..."

I just had a bad feeling that I feel like that I'm forgetting something.

"Since it is already too dark and cold outside, you girls should stay over tonight especially that blue haired girl won't wake up soon." I pointed my finger at Aqua who's sleeping deeply.

"Haru-kun is right. We can sleep together in my room."

"Okay... but I feel kind of bad for Darkness."

"Huh? What's wrong?" Yunyun asked.

"She even brought home a gift from her parents and it was a delicious looking large crabs. I told her that we will come back after our visit here but unfortunately, we overstayed here."

"Crab... Wait! A crab?"

I'm really forgetting something and I'm having a hard time remembering.

"Huh? What's wrong with the Crab?" Megumin looks confuse of me.

"It's a crab... Yes, a crab! It has alcohol!"

"Crab with alcohol?" Both of them tilted their head.

Drowsiness is starting to get me which made me yawned and made me gave up remembering.

"Okay, well... Forget it! I can't really remember. It is something to do with wine and alcohol in the middle of the night. I'm sure I remember it tomorrow. Goodnight, you two!"

"Goodnight, Haru-kun. Sleep well."

At Yunyun's smile, I waved my hand at her and went upstairs, straight to my bedroom.
