Chapter 5: Taking Care of the Sick

(Haru's POV)

------Since our rooms only has bedroom and bathroom, I borrowed the kitchen of the inn owner and make some rice porridge for the sick Yunyun.

While stirring the pot, I placed the cut ingredients and egg.

"You're good, kid... It felt like you've been doing this from a long time. Are you some kind chef? I can tell from your movements."

The inn owner praised while watching me cook.

"Well... I used to be a part timer cook from different restaurants in the past."

After preparing the rice porridge and some drinking water in a container, I went straight to Yunyun's room.

Placing the tray on the side table, I sat on the side of her bed then I touched her forehead.

"I'm sorry, Haru. I caused nothing but trouble to you today."

"Shut up, silly head! We're friends. We'll help each other in times of needs like this."

Feeling the temperature on her forehead,

"You're recovering... I guess you'll be fine tomorrow after taking your medicine."

"Hehehe... Thank you, Haru."

She looks adorably happy.

Grabbing the pot,

"Here... eat first then you'll take your medicine later."

She sat up and when I opened the lid of the pot in front of her.

"Wow..."

She looks amaze as a hot rose from the food.

"I tried to recreate my rice porridge recipe using the ingredients in this world. It might be not best but it should be tastes good enough to be eaten."

I'm trying to give her the spoon but she looks at me with wry smile.

"Sorry, Haru... but it still hot. Can we cool down it just a little bit?"

"Is that so... Do you want me to cool it down for you?"

"Mhm-mm, thank you." she happily nodded.

I took a spoon of rice porridge and gently blew it without spilling it out.

"Here... Say, Aaaah~"

I moved the spoon in front of her mouth, trying to feed her.

"Eh?"

She responded in surprise.

"Hurry up, Yunyun before it gets too cold."

"Waaaahh..."

She got flustered doesn't know what to do but she willed herself and eat it.

"Uhmp!"

"Good."

She became really embarrassed.

After feeding her, I gave her a glass of water and medicine and then she take it.

I just let her lie down and rest on her bed.

She turned towards me.

"Haru, are you going somewhere?"

"Nope... I'll be watching over you so get well soon."

I just pulled some chair close beside her bed and sit on it. I took out some small book and read it.

It's a cooking book and it has the list of ingredients and procedures.

"Hehehe..." she giggled, looking happy.

Then she closed her eyes, smiling.

Looking at her sleeping face,

*Sigh*

I sighed,

"Yare yare daze."

I continued reading the content of the book.

Flying Cabbage? Stir fry? I'll try to make some Okonomiyaki with it.

What? A Mackerel that grows in the field? So it's real.

Wait! A Watermelon that swims in the sea?!

This world is really ridiculous but interesting.

(Yunyun' POV)

When I woke up as I opened my eyes, glancing at the window it was already sunset.

Sitting up, my body feels light and I don't feel sick anymore.

Suddenly, a wet towel fell from my forehead.

"Huh?"

Picking it up, it felt like it was placed on my forehead.

Beside my bed, I saw Haru sleeping on the chair while leaning in his right arm.

I went out of the bed and stared curiously on his face.

Getting closer to him,

Even though he came from the wild but his demeanor is completely different. He has etiquette of some kind of noble but when we're shopping, he actually bargains a lot just to get something cheap. He has this pretty unique behavior but he told me that he came from another world which surprised me.

But I'm really happy becoming his friend.

While staring closer at his sleeping face, suddenly something pinched my cheek.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"

"Yunyun, what are you doing?"

Haru opened his eyes, making a scary expression.

"You just gotten better from your sickness and you're already messing around? Go back to your bed, you silly head." he scolded me, flicking my forehead.

"Aw!"

(Haru's POV)

Ah! That was close! I was nearly tempted by her.

When I slowly opened my eyes, the first thing I saw is the cleavage of her large breasts.

I was enduring myself from hugging her.

She's too enticing.

Before she went back to her bed, she shyly turned towards me.

"I'm sorry, Haru. I'm going back to sleep now. Goodnight!"

Something was rising... and it isn't the shield hero...

She looks really hot in that outfit and it's tempting me.

Specially those large breast and thicc thighs of her, they're alluring me.

I just smiled at her,

"Good night too, Yunyun. Rest well... If you can't sleep, just ask me. I shall accompany you till you sleep."

"Hehe... Thank you, Haru."

She went back to her bed and lie down.

When she finally able to sleep, I went back to my room and jumped straight to my bed.

I sleep like a log from tiredness.

When morning arrives, I woke up very late. I went straight to the bathroom and washed myself.

Preparing myself, I finally decided to wear some adventurer's clothes. It consist of black shirt as inset, brown jacket, long dark brown pants, brown boots and dark brown gloves. There's a black strap on my waist that holds the bag of Swiss Army Knife in my back.

Now, I'm ready to go on adventure today.

I wonder what kind of ridiculous things will happen later.

But first, I need a real weapon.

My job class is already placed as Part Timer and it can't be changed anymore.

I wonder what is this strange job class.

But according to my Adventurer's Card, I already has set of skills that are maximized.

I know I have amazing kitchen knife skills but does it included as dagger skill?

Two-handed Sword... Well... I used to be in Kendo Club during middle school and just got some gold medals and award certificates.

Trap? I think I got that skill when traveling in order to survive in the wild.

Escape? I'm a fast runner. It's the Joestar Family secret technique that I learned even in my past life.

Next is... Bow, Lurk, Spear and Enemy Detection. I think I learned those in the wild.

As for Physical Resistance, I must became a little tough when I travel here.

Cooking is obvious since I'm a part timer cook in my past life but for Unarmed Combat... my dark life as a delinquent is coming back to me. I already changed a lot since then when I have to work a lot to support my graduating big sister and sick little sister.

Now, back to job class as Part timer. If my theory is correct, I have to ask Yunyun to teach me some of her magic. It should appear here in this card.

Depending on the results, Part-timer job class should be the same as Adventurer. The lowest and weakest job class.

After preparing myself, I went downstairs and wait for Yunyun to finish.
