Chapter 45: Health Check Up

In the living room, I was sitting on a couch while watching Yunyun happily playing chess with Fuyumi. After Yunyun made a move, Fuyumi was shock to see that she got trapped and on the next few moves, her defeat will be inevitable.

"Huh? How?"

"It futile, Fuyu-chan. The only one who can defeat Yunyun is Yunyun herself." I reminded her.

"What are you talking about, Haru-kun? I can't even defeat Megumin when we played together!"

"You're just too soft-hearted towards her. It's clearly that she's cheating on you during the game."

"Haru-kun wouldn't understand. Unlike you, I don't have that many friends." Yunyun turned her head away from me and she pouted.

Seeing her adorable expression, I moved down and sat on her side while wrapping my arms around her body from behind.

"What are you doing, Haru-kun? It's embarrassing! Fuyumi-chan is here "

"Hehe... How cute..."

"Stop it!" Yunyun's face was very reddish like a tomato.

"Hmph!"

Suddenly, Fuyumi flipped up the chess board and scattered the pieces on the floor.

"Huh?"

"See... I told you, Haru-kun!"

Fuyumi was mad as she stood up then she sat on my lap while pouting.

"Fuyu-chan?"

"Hmph!"

She doesn't want to talk to me.

"What are you guys doing there? Flirting in a middle of the day."

Shizu-nee arrived and came out from the portal together with Belfast and Little Bel.

"Oh, welcome back, Shizu-nee!"

Belfast and Little Bel bowed towards us.

Fuyumi was nervous when she looks at her mother.

"Fuyumi, you're coming with me for health check up in laboratory." Shizu-nee was about to grab her when slapped away her hand.

"No, Mama! I'm scared!"she refused and grabbed on my shirt.

"We just want to check the health condition of your body! It's not really that scary!"

"Noooo!"

Shizu-nee sighed, holding her forehead in pain.

"This happened all the time when I was still working as a doctor. Children are scared of me while the boys from adolescent to old age are falling in line to me for check up."

"Of course, what kind of men who doesn't want to meet a hot beautiful doctor? As for children, it's natural for them since they're often imagining something much worst than what's actually going to happen. Fuyumi is scared since she had a lot of bad experience in a laboratory."

Shizu-nee felt guilty but she is just concerned about Fuyumi's health condition just like a normal mother will do for her child.

"What will I do to convince her?"

"Fuyumi."

Fuyumi's grasp got tighter and she doesn't want to let me go out of fear.

"Mama will bring you to the sea and play with her."

"Sea?"

Fuyumi's eyes twinkled and she got very interested. This is due to her being confined in laboratory in her whole life so I felt nothing but pity on her.

"That's right! After your check up, you can go and make sand castle in the beach then show it to your Mama. I'm sure she will praise you." I patted her in the head and she was happy and excited.

"Haru-kun, you're really good with children."

"Well... I used to take care of kids as part-time job after all."

"This guy is unbelievable!" Shizu-nee is astounded.

Outside the house, Shizu-nee was carrying her Fuyumi in her arms with Belfast, Little Bel and Lolisa coming with her.

"Shizu-nee, it suits you." I said with mocking tone.

"Shut up!" she yelled to me in anger.

"Why do I have to go too?" Lolisa complained to me after I told her to watch over them.

"It's going to snow here soon while it is summer Shizu-nee's world. Just think of it as vacation."

"Why won't you come with us then?"

"I can't... I have own things to do. I'll try to catch up later if I get free time."

"Fine then... make sure, you finished it up quickly, Onii-sama."

"Yeah..."

They finally left to the portal after we bid farewell with each other. Now, it's just me and Yunyun remaining in the house.

"Now, Yunyun... why don't--Huh?"

Yunyun was rushing out of the backyard and it seems to do she was in hurry.

"Sorry, Haru-kun! Megumin asked me to help them hunt Giant Toads today! I'll be back in the evening!"

"Wait--"

She also left home and now I'm alone in the house. I actually just wanted to give her more attention since we didn't have many time for just each other.

"Yare yare..." I sighed with our situation.

Since I actually have nothing to do, I visited the Neighboring World and looked at Inter-dimensional Quest Board in Lolisa's castle. I was surprised with the S difficulty quest in the middle of the board.

I saw the warning which all my cheat skills will be reverted back to level one and I didn't mind it since most of my cheat skills are still Lv. 1 except my Curse Energy Manipulation skill which actually Lv. 3 which I upgraded from the skill points that I grinded from the humanoid cockroaches. The next upgrade required skill points was ridiculous high.

After checking my Adventurer's card, I used some of my extra skill points to learn Haki skill.

Unfortunately, I only learned Armament Haki which is the most basic of Haki. If I imbued my attack with this skill, I can hit and hurt a devil fruit user.

After learning the skill, I ripped off the poster in the middle and teleported to the World of One Piece as blinding light shrouded my vision.

"Huh? Who are you?"

When my blurry eyesight slowly became clearer and clearer, I saw several people standing in front of me and one of them is the Captain of the strawhat pirates, Monkey D. Luffy. There are also his comrades like Ivankov, Jinbei, Buggy, Crocodile, Mr. 3 and other criminal escapees from Impel Down. They were all surprised by my sudden appearance when we heard a cracking sound from below.

"Huh?"

"No! That's the wrong side!"

The frozen tidal wave of the sea below our feet started to spread the cracks and the ship fell forward, dragging everyone of us down.

"WOAAAH!!!"
