"What triggered you last time?" Klaus was this business oriented man. He hadn't asked an out of the topic question but everything concerning her soul-shifting.

"There is this painting that I keep seeing am not sure if it scares me or if it's the trigger"

"What painting?" The look-alike of Grey painting, would that make sense.

"Its in the grand hall and The Court of Fawn and the house of prints" confusion covered his features so she tried to clarify..

"The Court of Fawn is-"

"I know where it is Sarin" he interrupted her uncoothingly, of course he knew, but she couldn't help but almost feel giddy at how he said her name. His voice was deep and sensual, Grey's was amazing too but she had to be just. Aella was some lucky girl.

"You've gone to the court? To do what?" she was a human so she understood his confusion.

"I had to retrieve the Red Rules Book and so far it proved to be a waste of my time and that's the first time I shifted" she explained as he walked towards the book and surveyed it flipping the pages.

"You really wasted your time, I agree" he chuckled, "this here are the originals not that so you and I both need them"

"What do you need them for actually?" she asked curiously.

"That's for you to 𝑛𝑜𝑡 find out what of you?"

"Likewise" maybe they both had different agendas so why tell him if he wasn't going to help.

"We need that painting next time am here to confirm that that's the trigger"

"Ok" and he was gone. He was like some sort of phantom and only appeared for specific reasons.

"I found something" Ava opened the door wide open getting in followed by Azy.

"What?"

"Sarin come here and tell me if what am seeing is true" Ava spread whatever it was on the table. Sarin inched closer seeing that it was a map, a huge one at that.

" Look here, Northern Dalotopia is connected to Cunningham and also connected to us meaning-" Azy interrupted and Ava pouted annoyed at him for not letting her finish her epic time of knowledge.

"The troops won't use the sea to come to us they'll use Cunningham but it'll take some time" Azriel completed. Sarin was completely lost, Bethany joined the conversation while trying up her brown hair in a high pony tail.

"Can someone please explain what is happening here?" Bethany demanded and Sarin was glad for it.

Ava heaved in a breath, "After last week, you remember the blue light that hit us?" Sarin and Beth nodded, "That was Aella's doing but in one way or another Terrence, her father supreme commander of upnorth figured out she was still alive and she's here so he sent armies to come here get her but they'll be using the mortal lands for that"

Sarin wasn't sure how much he knew about Aella but they had met before back at home though they never had a one on one conversation.

"And all that is interesting why?"

"Because we, you, me Azy and Sarin have been sent-" Ava liked challenges. Beth shook her head furiously.

"Am not leaving this castle again Ava, the last time wasn't so pretty and neither is she"

"But-"

"No, go tell that old hag of a queen that I'm not leaving, she's too tired to come here anyways" Bethany dissapeared into the bathroom. Bethany was short tempered so there was something that annoyed her before she even entered the room.

Old hag!? she bit back her smile. That's how they addressed their queen but truly the woman was old you would wonder why she refused to hand over the crown to Jurrian.

"Do you want to go Sarin?" She had lessons with Klaus, why would she and as much as she would have loved to visit Cunningham and it's environs, she couldn't. Not yet at least.

"I can't am sorry"

"No it's ok" she paused looking a the bathrooms door, "Let me speak with her before we leave"

Azriel nodded.

"Do you have siblings Sarin?" Azy asked after Ava dissapeared behind the doors.

"Nope"

"Oh" in the spirit of not having some awkward silence she asked,

"Do you?"

"Me neither"

"Lets go" angry Ava left the bathroom grabbing Azy and dragging him out.

Bethany left the bathroom with a smile which caused Sarin some confusion.

"What happened?"

"I happened, she's just angry at me because of mother"

"What about your mother?"

*sigh* "As you have seen we don't have an amazing rapport with our mother because of something she did in the past when we were younger so gradually am forgiving her but she doesn't want me to because she was hurt the most during that time.

"I understand where she's coming and how she feels Sarin, but it's been fifteen years and I can't keep carrying such an old burden anymore"

"So Ava is angry because you're moving on?"

"Technically yes" Beth smiled wider putting on her coat.

"Why are you so happy about it?"

"I love annoying her and she's leaving so by the time she's back she won't even remember I angered her"

As she said, Sibling drama was something she could and would never understand as an only child.

"Your man wants to see you" Bethany said.

"You need to stop calling him my man" she reprimanded.

"He is your man so stop whining, go away he wants to shop and he's in a rush"
