a month, a year, a centure, a lifetime I

Ji Li enjoyed his life as a baby. It was relatively relaxed, after learning the language at the age of a month, he also enjoyed the gossip and drama happening around the building, which he never left against all of his wishes.

The drama was the classical scolding of Hua Jing and Hua Xu on all the younger Eunuchs still in training having no idea what to do to satisfy the commanding and bossy Junior Eunuch.

Hua Jing obviously has a reason for his behaviour. His 'Ahem Ahem' boyfriend is gone and visiting less and less. Making the roles of their relationship relatively obvious to even Ji Li who started to understand their rambling. Hua Xu, a friend of Jing who always tried to support and tease him, suffered quite a bit this time when he teased the tensed Jing.

'Damn these kids so young but already playing house... can y'all be a bit more careful in front of this holy man? I have swor- I will swear to abstinen-... WAIIIIT' thinking of the two lovebirds missing each other when they barely seperated for a month, he suddenly came to realise he was going to be a Eunuch. Not just as a pretend in his home with a funny vibe, no. It would really be a situation where he loses his little brother!

He might not have any interest romantically, and even his sexual drive might be very low. But this is a different thing! He clearly still used 'Ahem Ahem' on certain nights by himself! 'Daa-DamN! He remembered again the past few days when the eunuchs would clean his room, they would draw water from the basin at the end of the room and spray it on the ground without any technological means. That truly confused him, but he guessed that there might be another eunuch at the end. 

Following the days, he also heard eunuchs mention something about attributes and also never saw the other eunuch at the basin, even with his small vision as a baby, which couldn't be the reason for him not seeing someone who was seemingly not in the room at all!

Anyways, after the small thought coursing through the mystical and confusin aspects, he remembered his small brother disappea- 'Wait, it's not my d... it's my balls. Then it's fine, I heard people can still do it with a versectomy, maybe it's similiar here too... anyways, I won't look like a monster and won't have to wonder how to pee. Ji Li continued his days with weird thoughts all day, all night, all midday, all evening, all morning, all everything, he was getting very very very bored. He even started to play with the fatty on his left and the monkey on his right. He wondered whether they really would be his fellow Eunuchs in the future or just transfer to a guard and maybe a clown, if they had something like that.

Well, that would be possible only if the 'snipping' is done relatively late in age, but as he knew about circumcision and that it's done very early in age in most cases, he wondered wheter it was the same with castration.

His biggest worry being the dangers in such an operation. In his world he was relatively interested in Eunuchs, so he used the free internet provided in his past world to search all kinds of things and came to know that a castration in the ancient times was one of the riskiest things to do, especially at such a young age. 

As a small fantasy and cultivation enthusiast who spend way too much time reading novels, he hoped since his rebirth that he's truly in a fantasy world and experiences magic and all that stuff, and especially now remembering that he might suffer greatly.

Assuming both little babies as his small servants, he pitied them a bit for their future. 'Ahhh, in the future they will suffer greatly for a better future... for me! Hehehe, I will make sure that they will always help me. This small fatty could be my little guard... hmm maybe I should train him! I might NOT have trained a lot (or at all) in the past, BUT I have watched animes, saw manga's and read novels who all talked about cool moves and stuff! I am sure that I can be his master, teaching him all the crazy stuff I am too lazy to do.'

Thinking of the fatty's counterpart, the monkey, he had a certain expression 'And he is going to be my spy! Or assassin! Climbing up tre- I mean walls and jumping- I mean running to listen all around the Palace and feed me with information and be my agent! MUAHAHAH-' trying hard to mark the baby in his mind as human and not monkey, he suddenly laughed and then stopped, looking awkwardly. 

'Wait, why do I seem like I am plotting something?! I just want to act like I am so mysterious and strong- maybe I can do that for a few days every now and then, but not like a super villain! That sounds SO stressful and needing. Not gonna do that, can't I just chill like a small actor and then hang out with a few important people who enjoy lazying around just as much as I do, so I become their chilling partner and they hire me with a lot of money' Ji Li kept dreaming and forget that he was supposed to be an eunuch who is not really paid besides certain donations and rewards for archievements... well, he wouldn't know anything anyways so why bother.

This type of time spending could truly be called boring yet creative, well, what was a baby supposed to do anyways. Now and then Hua Jing would slowly take him outside the building when he saw how polite and gentle Ji Li has always been with everyone. 

He kind of enjoyed spending time with the baby, as he wouldn't think of other people and just try teaching the baby, knowing very well that the baby wouldn't understand him, even tho it lookd like it. He just enjoyed having a partner who wouldn't remind him of how useless they are, like all the eunuchs in the training yard! AGHHH! They really are too stupid, why did he have to suddenly mentor not just one or three like he thought, no! He had to monitor the whole trainings yard, since Intermediate Eunuch Lin would soon be tested on whether he deserved to be promoted to a Senior Enuch, someone with much more power and the last step one can take just based on their age!

The highest position one can be promoted to, based on just generations, would be senior. As Eunuch Lin was born in the last year of his generation, he had the chance to be promoted although just becoming 33 that year.
