1 Chapter 1 : Entry

Deep in the mountains, where rivers and lakes stream flow here, beside it is an old hut where it's enough for only two to live in.

At evening,

In an old dilapidated room, with a table and chair, which is broken and a bed next to it, an Old man lying on it, beside to him, an young man who is 5 or 6 years old, with a very sad face, "Grandpa, don't die, I will heal you", his tears rolling down from his face.

"Don't worry, I won't die, it is just that I will be going early before you and meet my ancestors." The old man coughed a few times.

"Xin'er, listen carefully what I am going to say, always be low- key, whatever you do, always think twice and even if people despise you, it's not too late to take revenge. What's important is that you must have strength first. The world follows the law of jungle, where strong eat the weak and he/she who has the biggest fist is the truth. So even if you have strength, be always low-key. Always remember this." The old man said these words in one breathe and coughed a few times.

The child who sat beside him nodded his head a few times, not understanding what his grandpa is telling, "Ok, grandpa, I will keep everything to heart what you said", he is somewhat afraid of being left alone so he is terrified.

The old man coughed a few times and weakly said: "Xin'er, what I'm going to say is the important thing, it's about your parents and your sisters. When I met you, your parents were already chased and killed and you were left alone in your mothers hand, with your two sisters. I don't know who your enemy is, but your mother who was already on the brink of death told me that your family has been destroyed, so only you, and your two sisters are your family members left in this world. As for your sisters, one is in the Alchemy department and other is in the Talisman department. Don't worry about them, I left them in my old friends care."

He opened wooden box with his weak body, which is near and took out two tokens, giving it to Xin saying: "These two tokens are to meet your sisters in future. Treasure it well."

One token is from Alchemy department and other is from Talisman department.

When Xin heard all these he was thunderstuck and shocked, cried, tears flowed down even more, even from his nostrils and his face was red.

"Grandpa, don't worry, I will find them, please stop speaking, I will make some medicine for you", he said with a heavy heart.

The old man shook his head a few times, "The medicine is not worth it, I know myself, I have taken alot of medicines from you as I have taught you, I'm aware of my own body, so don't waste your effort". He said with a slight look on his face, reminiscing about the past.

When the old man took care of him 5 years ago, he treated this young boy and his young sisters as his own grandson and granddaughter and taught them various medicines, alchemy and talisman.

His sisters, one was very adept in alchemy and other was in talisman. He was very delighted and laughed loud with a smile on his face. So he was very happy to use his favours owed by his old friends to him and entrusted these young sisters to them. In his old years, he has no regrets left.

There is a saying: "When you are going to leave this world, there should be no regrets left". It seems to be true for this old man as he is very happy and content with it.

"Xin'er, since you love archery very much, grandpa will give you a present, and promise me that you will stay here for 5 years by burying me in a coffin, after 5 years, you must open the coffin. The old man slowly sat up and moved his body aside and there was a hidden cabinet next to bed.

"Relax, grandpa is going to give you a present". He opened the cabinet and there was a bow and quiver. He held it with care and slight emotion and sighed and he gave it to the young man next to him.

The young man has a shocked expression on his face as he never knew that his grandpa hid such a thing as he lived with him for 5 years.

Suddenly as he was in trance, he was disturbed as he saw the old man fell and his breathing became rapid then slowly, slowly faded away and he kept the bow and quiver beside him then got up as if to hold the old man in his hands. Finally with a lot of effort, he held his head in his arms, and slowly laid him on bed with a pillow made of bamboo straws.

The old man opened his eyes very slowly and spoke weakly, "Remember what I said those words before", as if to remind the young man one last time and he closed his eyes finally with a happy smile on his face.

The young man cried and wailed for few hours and finally did what the old man told him to do.
