Uncomfortable

The classes have been too boring, so his attention had been on anything else that seemed more interesting than the explanation of his teacher. He would write down a few things that seemed important to him and then return his concentration to the little ball of paper he had unconsciously made between classes.

When the ring belled, he went to the classroom that was assigned for the student council. Everything was the same as the last time he had attended a meeting, except for some papers thrown on the desks. "They've worked hard", he thought as he took a seat in his place and went through some of the papers that had been left on the table, putting those already peeked aside.

The presidents of each group had their own jobs for their classes, as they were the ones who directed everyone in the classroom and who were in charge of giving good discipline results. In short, they had to be perfect for the position, as well as being good leaders. And he knew that all those who worked there were the best of all. Sebastian, being the leader of the council, was the one who chose the presidents –along with Jade since the girl was the "right hand" of the black-haired boy–. Then he left all his trust in the other eight deputies of the council.

But his position had not been wanted by himself. In fact, he had longed to enter the drama club, believing that was his vocation. However, because his father had power over the school –which Sebastian was very upset about, as he felt even more controlled than in his own home–, he spoke with the principal to get him into the council, and he had no choice but to accept. Although the results were quite favorable, he was not happy in that place. Mainly because all the students –or the vast majority– expected too much of him, which kept him constantly under stress.

He wasn't going to let anyone down, even if it meant putting his dreams aside.

"Sebastian, I'm glad to know that you will be at the meeting today" said a boy who entered the room with a smile on his face.

He quickly recognized the president who was entering at the time, as it was the blonde who had greeted him at lunch.

He watched as the boy carried a few folders in his hands, apparently too heavy for the little one who carried them. He came over to help him, taking half the folders to cut the weight off the smallest. What caught him off guard was the presence of a dark-haired boy leaning against the doorframe, not taking his eyes off him and the boy he was helping. If ever there was sympathy on the part of the brunette towards Sebastian, at that moment it had disappeared.

He ignored the murderous look that was keeping him somewhat uncomfortable, continuing his task of putting the folders on one of the metal shelves at the back of the classroom.

"Thank you very much" the minor thanked with gratitude before brushing his blond hair away from his face, as they prevented him from having a clear view of the panorama.

A clear throat from the door made both of them notice the boy who still hadn't left. He was frowning and his arms folded. His annoyance was too noticeable, causing the blonde to walk up to the brunette and take both of his hands, stroking them with his thumbs to reassure him. However, the boy's expression did not change at all, as if it were a statue instead of a person.

"Kwan, thanks for accompanying me here, but you shouldn't be late to your club. Tiger must be waiting for you" the blonde stood on his tiptoes to kiss the boy on the cheek, who was taller than the oldest.

"Hey..." mentioned the youngest of all with a slight blush on his cheeks, embarrassed by the kiss he had received. Milo smiled before pushing him lightly back down the hall, forcing him to head to his club.

Sebastian quickly turned his back on them to give them some space, from one moment to the next feeling uncomfortable at the blonde's displays of affection. He knew he was very affectionate, but those kinds of situations made him nervous. How was it that Milo, being a year younger than him, could show his homosexuality in such a common way? Because yes, the boy didn't mind admitting his sexuality. However, it was true that at times he was highly criticized for it due to some beliefs of the people, but, even so, it seemed that it didn't bother him at all. Plus, Kwan wouldn't stand still and tried to defend his elder, even if it meant receiving arrests.

Once he heard the heavy footsteps of the minor walk down the hall, he turned again, meeting Milo who did not take his eyes off the brunette's back. He sighed before speaking again.

"Don't you think he's very cute?" He asked, finally looking at Sebastian with his eyes shining like stars.

Many times, the black-haired boy had heard that, when someone's eyes shine every time they see someone specific, it meant that he was madly in love, because looks never lie. And, although he had never experienced anything like this on his own, he could think that maybe all that talk was true and Milo was very much in love with the tenth-grade boy.

"Putting aside the fact that he has the body of a boxer, yes, I think he's cute" he was silent before asking. "Do you like Kwan?"

The boy was going to answer at the moment when Yelena O'Kelly, in charge of the tenth grade first class, entered the classroom, causing the answer to be retained on Milo's thick lips, interrupting the conversation that both presidents were developing.

Little by little the other leaders were arriving at the place where they would hold the meeting, taking their respective places around the room. They all smiled at having him back with them, making him feel loved by that small group of students. He supposed that maybe it wasn't so bad to be there, since the people he related with were too nice and understanding, among many other virtues. Unlike him who had no virtue.

He was definitely nothing compared to them.
