Disgusting

Once they reached the corridor, they walked until they came across the first door, which corresponded to the major's room. He opened the door, revealing the inside.

The walls were white, as all the furniture in the room. It was too much like the living room, but half the size. There were few objects of a color other than white, such as the gray sheets and the black carpet that adorned the floor. A large window was in front of the front door, overlooking the quiet street. White curtains rested at the sides, allowing you to appreciate the outside. In front of it was the white desk where a laptop rested, along with the chair corresponding to it. There were a few more decorations that he didn't really care about.

A dresser was next to the desk, where several bottles of colognes and perfumes were found, as well as creams and a few medications. Suddenly the curiosity to know if the older one was medicated flooded his mind, pushing that doubt away as he continued to observe the rest of the room.

Two bedside tables stood at the sides of the bed, each with a lamp and a few books and scented candles. He supposed that, perhaps, Sebastian read one of those books before going to sleep, adding that the sweet smell of the candles put him to sleep, as if it were some kind of drug.

On the right side, in front of the huge bed, there were two doors one meter apart. Both were closed and therefore he did not know what was behind them. The medium-sized chandelier hanging from the ceiling was too extravagant, but not quite as fancy as the one on the ground floor; in addition, it fit perfectly with the other furniture in the room.

As if it were some collector's item, the raven had quite a few mirrors all over it of different shapes and sizes. He had never met someone so narcissistic as to have such an uncountable number of reflexes, again highlighting the great taste Sebastian had for himself.

"A somewhat classic room", Nathaniel thought as soon as he entered the room, being mowed down by the huge lighting coming from the window. The white walls –and everything in general– did not help to reduce the light, since they doubled it. The minor had to cover his eyes with his forearm until he got used to such clarity.

Sebastian left his backpack on his bed, sitting next to it. He took his books that he would need for his consultancy while the silver-haired guy took his place in the desk chair.

"I thought we would study in the living room," Nathaniel commented, without taking his eyes off his backpack.

"The living room is not a place where I feel completely comfortable," he clarified, looking at him. "But, just because you're in my room, it doesn't mean that I like you."

Nathaniel smiled, revealing his characteristic dimples. The raven thought they were very pretty, even if he didn't dare to say it openly, it would hurt his pride. Still, it was something –and probably the only thing– he liked about this boy.

"Got it," he said before opening his book and beginning the counseling.

Sebastian lay down on the bed while listening to the youngest explain a topic that was not complicated at all. Hearing the silvery-haired voice made him have a headache and he would have preferred to have someone else in his room. He was beginning to believe that luck was not on his side and, for this reason, Nathaniel appeared in every second of his life, which he did not like. And yet there was nothing he could do about it because it seemed that no matter what he did, the boy was still there.

If it was fate, then he could assure that the universe itself hated him.

"Don't be so hard on him". He remembered the words Hirsch had said to him just two days ago and which felt like an eternity. He knew he was treating Nathaniel too badly, but it was something he couldn't help himself because, every time he saw the boy, anger took hold of him and he ended up doing things that he later regretted once he got to his room.

He acknowledged that he had never taken such an attitude with someone before, not until the silver-haired man threw the water on him the first day, of course. Perhaps he had been upset that day, because he did not remember exactly what had happened before that event that, ultimately, badly marked his life. He also didn't know the exact reason why he didn't like the minor. It just was like that, and regardless of the reason, he kept getting annoyed at the boy over and over again.

"You're a disgusting person, Sebastian Sorrow." With the back of his hand he rubbed his eyes, feeling them too heavy from one moment to the next. It didn't take long for him to shed a couple of tears, probably caused by the rubbing or his thoughts. However, he couldn't stop those little drops that trickled down his cheeks little by little.

"Are you okay?"

The voice of the minor made him return to the time and space in which he was at that moment. He pulled his hands away from his face, looking for the boy in his room. Nathaniel's wide eyes were on him, for a moment seeing the innocence in them. He wondered if he had ever reflected innocence in his own eyes, too. And, if so, how long had it been since that?

"Yes, I'm fine," he answered, sitting up until he was seated. He pushed his hair back from his forehead, vaguely arranging his hairstyle.

"It does not seem like that."

He glared at Nathaniel. Why did he always have to contradict him? And why did he always have to seem like he knew everything? He knew absolutely nothing; much less did he know anything about Sebastian. How dare he show the opposite?

"You are annoying."

The younger only gave him a smile and nodded a couple of times, finally agreeing with him, which made Sebastian's anger boil even more, his face flaring up in color.
