Rey then unwillingly went to the team meeting spot and after an earful from Hanabi due to him being late than the decided time, did a C-rank mission, which consisted of dealing with a group of wild boars which were ruining the crops of farmers.

Rey knew that the jutsus performed by Hashirama during his fight with Kyubi and Madara were the result of his lifetime's hard work and there was no way Rey could just do that instantly. Rey knew not only did he lack the necessary depth in the wood element, he also lacked the chakra required to perform jutsus as impressive as Hashirama.
' The best option is to tell Naruto and the others. ' Rey knew that the rarity of Wood Release was more than enough for the higher-ups to contact Yamato, the best wood release user in the Leaf village to train Rey.

After doing that silly mission Rey went back home and decided to have a serious talk with Tenten, but not before refilling both their energies through a sweet lovemaking session.

Tenten was surprised at the sudden request, but knew that Rey was saying that due to the recent invasion.
Rey also knew that it would probably be hard for her to get back to the routine and used a little competition to lift up her motivation.
The competition was simple, they would spar to hone their fighting prowess and they would count their wins and losses, So whenever one of them reached 10 wins, he/she could ask the other party to fulfill a single wish of theirs.
Tenten's eyes had a mischievous glint in them as she heard about the little competition and agreed happily, putting an end to that topic.
