54 Losing Control

"Treat her and get her back to safety!" Rey commanded, his face devoid of its usual calmness, just pure coldness seeping through his emotionless gaze.

The wood clones didn't waste any time and immediately began using the "Mystical Palm technique," which enhances the body's natural healing abilities.

"You won't get away with this!" Rey spat out as he gave Sarada one final look before turning his attention to his target.

Boro, who had finally regained enough clarity to attack his enemies, couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as he saw Rey charging towards him.

Rey stopped his sprint when the distance between them was about 50 meters, his eyes cold and calculating, planning to finish the fight as quickly as possible.

Placing his hands on the ground, he used the "Wood style: Giant's hands" jutsu, summoning two enormous hands from the earth. They grabbed hold of Boro's feet, causing him to lose balance and plummet face-first towards the ground.

.

.

While Boro was mid-air, Rey employed his self created "Impaler's Cross" jutsu, summoning an enormous wooden cross covered in sharp, reinforced massive spikes. The wooden cross was almost twice the size of Boro's monstrous form.

"BAMMM!!"

"Argh!" Boro yelled as his giant body was impaled by the spikes on the cross. But Rey wasn't finished yet. He performed another set of hand signs, causing large vines to burst forth from the ground and wrap around his body and the cross, securing Boro's body and preventing any escape.

The wooden spikes also impaled his hands due to assistance of the vines, ensuring he couldn't break free.

.

.

Boro struggled against the vines that bound him, but they only tightened further.

"Argh!" he shouted as the vines constricted around his neck. Despite his efforts, he was unable to break free.

Meanwhile, the wood clones that had treated Sarada dispersed, transferring all of their chakra back to Rey as he approached Boro.

Rey stood over Boro, placing his foot on Boro's head as he looked into his eyes.

"This is where you belong," he said coldly.

Boro shuddered with rage and another tail-like appendage emerged from his lower body, lashing out at Rey. But Rey easily dodged the attack and stood a few meters away, a cold smile on his face. "Seems like you can still struggle.

It wouldn't be fun otherwise." he said before performing the "Wood Style: Piercing Vines" jutsu.

.

.

Sharp, sturdy vines erupted from the ground, piercing through Boro's skin and emerging from the opposite side of his body, repeating the process repeatedly.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Boro screamed in agony.

Meanwhile, Boruto and the others had used their karma to release Naruto from the seal, but he remained unconscious as they arrived at the location where Rey was torturing Boro.

"I think it's enough, Rey." Boruto said, placing a hand on Rey's shoulder.

Rey, however, was not in the mood to listen and looked at Boruto out of the corner of his eye.

"I never asked for your advice." he said sternly. But Boruto being Boruto, did not understand the situation and replied.

"Just kill him if you want.

Why torture him?"

Rey considered teaching Boruto a lesson for a moment before deciding against it.

"No one harms my woman and gets off easily.

Back off." he growled.

.

.

Boruto was about to say something, but Mitsuki intervened and took his hand away from Rey's shoulder.

"Let him be, Boruto.

We should focus on finding Sarada." Mitsuki said, pulling Boruto along with him.

"Sorry for leaving you alone for a moment.

Let's continue where we left off." Rey said, shifting his attention back to the half dead Boro on the ground.

While Rey continued to administer punishment, Boruto broke away from Mitsuki and looked at him angrily.

"Why did you pull me away?!" Mitsuki didn't mind the angry tone and replied,

"I had a feeling that if you continued, you both would end up fighting each other."

"It's good then. I would have taught him a lesson. " Boruto said in annoyance.

Hearing this, Mitsuki just smiled in defeat, but Kawaki was more serious.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Boruto!

Can't you see what he has done to that monster?" he said, trying to prevent Boruto from being delusional.

"Huh!?" Boruto exclaimed, but Kawaki had already sprinted forward, carrying Naruto on his back.

.

.

By the time Mitsuki and the others found the unconscious Sarada, Boro had stopped struggling and screaming, as he was at the end of his rope.

"I guess that's all you have to offer!" Rey said, now calmer and more clear-headed.

Realizing it was time to end the confrontation, he grabbed Boro's hairs and separated Boro's head from his body with a single movement of his hand.

He then joined the others and, seeing the still unconscious Sarada, he went to her and checked on her injury.

Finding that it was not serious, he looked at the others and said,

"Grab the sealing container. It would be best to hand it over to the scientific department so they can put it to good use."

Everyone however, looked at him with an odd and fearful gaze, and finally Kawaki stepped up and spoke.

"That's fine, but why are you carrying his head in your hand?"

Rey looked at the blood dripping from Boro's head on the ground and could see why they reacted that way.

"Don't forget that he is also a scientific ninja tool, so there may be something that the scientific department can lear..." Rey couldn't even finish his sentence before his vision went dark and he fell unconscious to the ground.
