1 Death

His pulse was beating weakly through his crushed organs as he struggled to breathe. His voice was shaky as he started to recover. A weak inaudible voice cried within him. "I'll survive." Despite, his best efforts he didn't make it.

Blurred lights and inaudible voices darted in and out of his vision. He heard a faint voice.

"Incredible".

Silas violently contorted in his sleep. His blue eyes fluttered open. But what he was to discover would cause his whole world to come crashing down.

He woke up, he could only feel his feet.he was on a stretcher. So far everything was normal. Suddenly, strange thoughts bombarded his mind.Things that he shouldn't even know about. Like blood spilt on an altar and the foul breath of a murderer.

His grandfather was at his side throughout the ordeal.

"I am afraid your son has a mental illness, but nothing is wrong with him other than that." A young man in his late twenties said.

"n-nnn nn". I tried to speak.

But my voice failed me. I heard as clear as day a thunderous voice say, "We mustn't let mortals know silas pretrov."

My heart skipped a beat as it said my full name, which I had never told anyone.

My grandfather left abruptly after that performance.

Two, mysterious hooded individuals approached. When I saw their name badges.I willed my heartbeat to slow down. These were

just doctors.

Or, so I thought. I let them approach, slowly I saw more of my features being reflected in them. I was beginning to think that they were junior doctors, who were lost. However, this theory was challenged when I finally spoke to tell the way.

"Are you lost", I wimpered.

I immediately wanted the ground to swallow me. Their response was chilling and would threaten everything I had come to know and love.

"I am your maternal grandfather", one responded with.

Another responded

" I am your paternal grandfather".

I was stunned what I was to find out next would include me being killed.

When they came closer i saw a sword being unsheated.

I instantly prayed to any and every deity I could think of to save me.

Although, secretly I knew no-one could help me in this predicament.
