31 A secret plan

Quanzhi's heart was half-full with sweetness and half-full with affection.

A scholar dies for a confidant; likewise, a one-sided lover dies of happiness when their feelings are being answered.

The red clouds over her cheeks were proof of how happy she was.

"Shenshah, are you speaking ttt-truth?"

With some nervousness, she completed her sentence.

A little bit of hesitation was expected as I was pushing her in one go.

"Be…Because if I wake up tomorrow and you say that you don't want me anymore or you changed your mind, then….."

"...then my heart won't be able to take it and will break forever."

Shenshah had already answered her feelings, now she knew it was her time to confide in him.

But the only thing you ought to know is that as long as you choose me, I will do my best so we can live happily. Whatever needed to be spoken was already spoken.

Now, it was time to give Quanzhi some time.

A buffer time where she can figure out everything and will leave this sect behind for me.

Such things must never be forced.

Whenever feelings of heart are being involved it's better to give everyone involved their individual space.

Hearing my words, Quanzhi's eyes stagnated.

Yes, following Shenshah meant abandoning all the spirit stones she regularly gets, abandoning the chance to be soon promoted to the inner sect and forswearing all the opportunities this top sect can provide to her.

Suddenly Quanzhi became a little vigilant, she carefully looked to the left and right to make double-sure there was no one around.

"But the thing you are doing is very dangerous."

I would lie if I say I was not worried about hearing her shrewd plan.

"Don't worry, I will do it only when I am fully prepared."

In excitement, Quanzhi made a fist as she tried to reassure me.

"Okay, I have to leave now"

"You already know where I live."

"Since you said it will take 15 days, I will try to prepare everything till then."

Knowing it was time to leave, we both got up.

Her eyes were still full of yearning but she knew she must wait.

To give her a cherishing memory, while she was still absent-mindedly admiring me, I quickly gave her a short peck before going out.

The touch on her lips was a momentarily feeling, by the time Quanzhi realised what had happened, Shenshah had already gone out.

Outside the cave, Shao was eagerly waiting for me.

I don't know if it's my illusion, her eyes looking at me seemed to be a bit weird.
