28 A bitter truth

Angela's entire body went numb.

The moment she heard her sect master asking her to marry a boy she never met, she was thunderstruck.

Tears almost glistened out of her eyes, but somehow by biting her tongue, she was able to stop them from wetting her cheeks.

Shenshah blatantly mocked and threatened her while at the same time, her good friend Shao Shao backstabbed and provocatively rubbed in her face.

For a second, Naagina thought Angela might be having other thoughts, after all, who wants to marry a waste like Shenshah?….she knew she was wronging her disciple but she had no choice.

Only with her help can she bring down Shenshah's arrogance.

She wanted to see Shenshah's helpless face when Angela managed to alienate all his wives away from him.

She wanted to see his desperate-crying face when Angela, whom Shenshah trusted the most, backstabbed and left him alone to rot.

And, as for Shao Shao?….didn't Shao say that she will regret that Shenshah was no longer her disciple?

When Shenshah falls, naturally all the responsibility will fall on his master, that is Shao Shao.
