1 Prelude to the End {Part - 1}

"The Universe Shall One Day Tremble Before Me!"

A sonorous voice echoed throughout a myriad of worlds, causing all who heard it to quake in fear.

Many who were cultivating in seclusion were disrupted from their training sessions, and a lot of them made mistakes that led to serious injuries for some and death for others.

Even the mightiest beings in the universe shivered a bit at the sound of that voice. And these beings were given the title of Gods of the Universe.

The Gods of the Universe, masters of the most powerful Daos in the universe, held unfathomable power and abilities. But even they had to acknowledge the authority of the one whose voice was heard.

While feeling trepidation, they also experienced a sense of relief as that individual's existence could not be condoned by the Heavenly Dao.

Suddenly, a laugh echoed in the vast universe. "Hahaha! The Immortal Invincible, oh what a grand title you have. I am sorry to be the one to break it to you, but your rise has already come to an end!"

The tone of the speaker was filled with mockery and joy at another's misfortune.

Within the void, where all things began, there was no light, only darkness and chaos reigned supreme. Only a select few among countless others could stay there without suffering harm.

And these individuals were the Gods of the Universe, a symbol of their extraordinary abilities.

All the current Gods were gathered. There were a total of six of them, among the nine Gods of the Universe.

Nine, being a prime number, meant that there could never be more than nine Gods towering over the vast universe.

A man clad in golden armor was chained and strapped with nine dragons made of purple-colored lightning.

This man had used a special power to increase his size to such an extent that if he were placed in the universe, his height would span a good number of light years.

The lightning dragons were not ordinary; they possessed the power of destruction, capable of annihilating anything and everything, erasing them from existence.

However, even this mighty lightning could barely restrain the man in the golden armor.

His armor was adorned with glowing white symbols, constantly resisting the destructive power of the lightning dragons.

If one looked closely, they would notice that the light emanating from the symbols was growing weaker.

The man gazed at the six individuals before him, particularly the one who had just spoken.

"What? Do you still think yourself above us? Just you wait, you will cease to exist soon enough!"

The one who spoke was dressed in all-black armor, with an aura of death surrounding him.

He was the God of the Underworld and the Ruler of Death, Kaecilus. He harbored a deep hatred for the Immortal Invincible, more than anyone else present.

"I think we shouldn't wait any longer and get this over with. I don't think I need to remind you all how he always manages to escape our grasp every time, just when we think we've won," said one of them.

The others were immediately reminded of painful memories, and their gaze grew more serious.

They formed a formation around the man and began to cast a technique to end him.

This was no ordinary formation; it was granted by the Heavenly Dao itself. It utilized the power of destruction to annihilate all things.

On their own, they would not be able to control such power and would be destroyed if they tried. However, as the Heavenly Dao oversaw this, they had the privilege to wield its power.

"You all think you've won, right..." said the man suddenly.

"Ignore him; this could just be a ploy!" said the God of the Underworld.

The Immortal Invincible sneered and said, "Well, I just want to ask you all, do you really think this is the end for me?"

"Would you believe it if I told you all that you are dancing under the center of my palm...hahahaha!"

The man spoke calmly, his laughter erratic at the end.

His words caused the Gods to frown as they contemplated his words, sensing that he might be up to something. The memories of their constant failures in trying to kill him had solidified an image of invincibility in their minds.

"Focus on the task at hand! He won't be able to do anything," said another God.

With a flash of purple light, the power of the lightning dragons suddenly increased significantly. The armor protecting the man was instantly blasted to pieces, and bolts of lightning dove into his body, beginning to destroy him from the inside out.

The man closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Hmmm, remember this day, Gods of the Universe," he said mockingly. "For today marks the beginning of your downfall... today, even the heavens will not forget."

His body started to decompose slowly, yet he remained with his eyes closed. He didn't even scream in pain from the destructive lightning raging within and outside his body.

The Gods trembled at the sight, as the mere presence of that power instilled deep fear within them.

The God of Death looked coldly at the man and chuckled. "Hehehe, are you not immortal? Weren't you invincible? Look at you now, still trying to act cool when you are being annihilated."

"Don't worry, those friends of yours will be well taken care of by us. And we will...!!!"

The God of Death stopped speaking and even moved back a little, startled. The man suddenly opened his eyes and gave him a cold gaze, a gaze that reminded him of a painful memory.

"Don't worry...the God of Death will die soon enough," said the man.

*Shring!*

Immediately after he finished speaking, the rest of his body disintegrated, causing a massive explosion with the power of a million exploding stars.

*Boom!* *Boom!*

The shockwave reverberated in the void, and the present Gods shielded themselves with their powers, yet they were still pushed back significantly.
