Chapter 1 : Awakening Of I.S.D.C.L.E.S.

Today is my birthday and also the day I have decided to kill myself because life is too boring for me.

Yeah, yeah, I know. There are too many interesting things in the world to experience, but for me it ain't enough.

My gut tells me that this planet ain't simple so I ain't going on any sort of adventure until I got a way to protect myself. You might call me a coward, I don't care. I only want to live until the day I choose to die.

I been preparing myself for this day for ages. It has been quite the experience. I have learned how to camp, to trek, to eat less, to sleep less and to drink less. I even did exercises regularly to keep fit.

I may not be as strong as Tyson, but for ordinary people in my country, I think I could even join the special forces as a leader. Although I look thin, I think it's all because my muscles have joined together making me slim unlike those bodybuilders whose muscles are all over the place. I even practiced fighting on my own, through punches, kicks and headings, to get my body to do what I want it to do in the shortest possible time.

Today the plan was to eat KFC as my breakfast, dig my grave and lay in it for the rest of the day. I even added a mattress to my grave. I had already resigned from work for this operation.

Time passed in the blink of an eye and its already evening, I watched youtube shorts for the whole day and since it's in the evening and my stomach is bloated, I did 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and other exercises to get my body ready to do the deed.

Time passed slowly as I did all this and it's nearly midnight. I got out my two knifes that I had sharpened to use to kill myself. Before it was midnight though, I thought about what I am doing and asked in self doubt, "Is this worth it? Just to satisfy my curiosity and boredom?".

Then I said, " I've gotten too far into the ocean to swim back up." So, I steeled myself and made up my mind.

I waited for the seconds to reach 00:00:00 before thrusting towards myself with all my might. Just as the knifes were about to pierce my skin, a 'Ding' sound rang in my mind. I hurriedly stopped thrusting the knifes barely. It touched my skin's outer layer and a little blood flowed down my knees. My back was drenched in cold sweat. I hurriedly checked my surrounding to see what stopped me from killing myself.

I looked left and right but I saw nothing that sounded or looked like a bell. I even went to my houses' entrance but I still couldn't find anyone. I was scared because I am also afraid of the unknown just like everybody else until I saw a window looking like a computer menu appearing right in front of my eyes.

My hand was going through my hair in embarrassment. I got out of my grave and walked steadily towards the door of my house and entered.

The whole session would have scared the shit out of all those who were there to witness it. Just imagine it, you were just walking around, suddenly, I person came out a grave and went into a house. I thought
