Dalvin was not surprised by this, but was also not very impressed. It was fine to stuff your face, but what was the point since you knew you did not have the system to protect you? Were you testing for poison?

Also, why come back and practice, why not use your remaining time to chat with the anomaly again and gain further information? Dalvin wondered what the heck his simulated self was thinking, but how could he possibly know?

He shook his head and activated the blink ability in a row, taking himself right from his cell into the dining area. He still followed the same old rules; his simulated self could prance about and explore, but his real self could not be seen by anything for now lest it change up his situation too drastically.

At this point, the cultivators here who were lining up to scoop the food only glanced at him casually before looking away. They had seen him blink so many times already and had become somewhat used to it.
