28 Tricky Enemies

~~~ Milton household, Toledo ~~~
"Oh, there's someone at the door! I'll go and open it up. Maybe it's Anna or my husband," says Amy as she walks to the door.
But I stop her and ask, "Wait a moment! Do you know where Anna went?"
"To the shopping center near the university, why?" she asks, confused.
"Don't worry about that. You should rest. I will open the door for you," I say and place my hand on her neck, applying a bit of pressure.
"What are you—"
She collapses, and I carry her to the storage room, then lock the door. She will wake up very soon, but it should be enough to keep her away from the people.
*Ding-dong*
"Yes, I'm on my way! One moment!" I scream to the impatient follower and walk to the front door, opening it.
"Hello Rasiel, long time no see... Are you ready to suffer? I want to test so many things out with you," says the Follower, a large middle-aged man with dark hair.
Behind him and around the house is the whole neighborhood, who are probably all mind-controlled by him.
"Sounds sexy, but I'll pass. Not because of you, but because of me. I simply can't date my girlfriend's father," I tell him, trying not to break his heart.
"You think everything is funny, don't you? Let's see how you will like it if we lock you up and torture you every day until the world comes to an end."
"Had that already... well, except that world-ending part. They gave up much earlier than that..."
"I won't. I promise you that..." he says, and Cthulhu's symbol appears on his head.
*Bang*
I take out my pistol hidden in the holster behind my back and shoot the Follower point-blank in the forehead before he can transform.
He stares at me in shock, and his eyes start to glow in their green color before they flicker and return to their vessel brown eyes. Afterwards, he falls to the ground, paralyzed.
"Enjoy being trapped yourself..." I say to him and then look at the people who become confused at their master's situation but then suddenly start to scream and run towards the door.
"Ahhhh!!!"
"Oh shit!" I kick the first incoming old lady back into the crowd and close the door, while the others start to hit the door and also break through the windows.
It seems that they are controlled by some other Follower who is nearby since the one on the ground can't do anything after his power source was cut off, except maybe lie there motionless.
When the first ones come through the windows, I take a run-up and dash into the front door, breaking it out of its hinges. This makes it fall onto the people behind it, sending them to the ground like dominoes.
Then I stand up and use the door to jump over the people and land on the road.
I scream "After me!" and run to the university. "Ahhh!!!" and the mindless people start to follow me, leaving the house alone.
---
The advantage of being immortal with an insane healing factor is that I can basically outrun Forrest Gump without even breaking a sweat.
While the crowd behind me can't, and one after another starts to collapse after running at full speed behind me for several minutes.
A lot of normal people stare at us and even help the mind-controlled freaks up, but I couldn't care less and simply sprint towards the direction of the university that I memorized from the map.
After another ten minutes of running, none of them is behind me anymore, but I continue to run because I hear a loud fire alarm in the distance.
Arriving at the shopping center, I can see a bunch of people outside.
Sensing four Followers inside, I know I am at the right place. So I sprint across the parking lot and towards the nearest entrance.
When suddenly the metal gates start to come down and nearly close on me, but I stretch out my hand and use my telekinesis spell to hold it in place and then slide under it and inside the building, to the shock of the bystanders.
Arriving inside, I ignore the annoying alarm and move towards the Followers. However, as I'm almost halfway there, I find more than ten people lying on the ground, shaking as if they were holding an electric wire.
"Rasiel... you will pay for what you did to my other vessel," says the male Follower who is seemingly leading the people and stands up while shaking.
"Will I?" I ask him and walk towards the creature and take out my knife.
When Cthulhu's symbol starts to appear, I kick him back to the ground and ram the knife into his chest. This way, I can also see if I made any mistakes while writing the names on the knives...
"Agh!" he can only scream before his eyes flicker too, and he can't move anymore. Afterwards, I take his head with me as a souvenir and continue to move towards the other octopus friends.
But only after a few feet, I see an unknown combination of Enochian letters that is burned to the ground. Different letters are written inside and outside of a circle.
The only thing that is logical there for me is the soul name of humans inside the circle.
That means that Cthylla is the one that used the sigil to stun the people and the Follower. I need to ask her later where she learned this because I can't remember her ever using this kind of sigil.
Continuing, I can sense her fish-smelling father clearly, which means that a high-ranking Follower is there as well.
When I arrive at the scene, I see three octopus followers, a group of nearly twenty people standing against the walls, and the beautiful Cthylla.
She wears a green summer dress and has her hair open showing the beauty of her vessel in full glory.
{Give up, daughter. Daddy is here!}, says Cthulhu through a transformed Follower and walks towards Cthylla, who has one hand in her red purse.
This woman is fearless as ever... probably even in a situation like this, she has a trick up her sleeve to get out of here somehow.
To stop the transformed Follower, I throw the head I have with me in between them and say, "Well, that sounded disturbing."
When Cthylla sees me, she instantly becomes relaxed and places a hand on her chest and shouts, "Rasiel!"
I wave at her and want to give her a hug, but can't because there are some obstacles in my way. So I take off my leather jacket to move more freely and throw it away.
Then walk towards the Followers and say, while opening my arms, "So, gentlemen and ugly tentacle monsters, shall we begin? No offense, love,"
I wink at Cthylla, who rolls her eyes but then simply grins evilly at my antics.
---
The other two Followers begin to transform as the humans come closer, ready to pounce on me.
Meanwhile, the already fully transformed Follower launches his right arm toward me, rapidly stretching and transforming it into a flesh spike with the intent to pierce me.
Cthulhu never learns... I step to the side, grab the ugly arm, and swing him around, then slam the creature into the incoming humans.
"If you fish lovers think I will brawl with you, then I must disappoint you," I say to the two Followers in front of me, while placing my knife in my left hand and my pistol in my right.
*Bang, Bang*
I shoot at them; however, the only female Follower in the group creates large bone swords out of her hands and blocks the bullets with them before dashing towards me.
Meanwhile, the last Follower, who only had his face and left hand deformed, creates large claws and fangs and runs towards me too.
Never mind...
I evade a sword slash by ducking down and, at the same moment, block one hand's claw with my knife, stabbing it in the process, making its hand unusable.
Then I kick the sword-wielding one away and shoot at her.
*Bang, Bang, Bang*
But she simply cuts the bullets in half midair before crashing to the ground and immediately jumping up again.
Meanwhile, the fang Follower opens his mouth unnaturally wide and tries to bite down on my head, but I step to the side, and the tentacle one, who tries to attack me from behind, pierces him through the chest, sending him flying.
I cut off the arm tentacle and shoot at him Bang, but he simply jumps away like a frog then grabs onto the ceiling.
In the meantime some humans stand up and run towards me, but Cthylla takes out a paper, cuts her hand, and slams it on the paper.
Immediately a small shockwave is sent out, that passes through me and afterwards hits the humans, causing them to fall to the ground while shaking.
The sword-wielding Follower manages to jump away in time to evade the shockwave, while the fang one gets hit by it and begins to do the Harlem shake on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Follower on the ceiling creates a bunch of small spikes out of his arm and shoots them at me. But I evade them by shifting my body and fire back at him.
*Bang, Bang*, I manage to hit him on his foot and shoulder, and he falls to the ground.
When I want to finish him off, the female one jumps in front of me and tries to slice me in half, but I jump back and throw my knife at her.
However, she simply parries it with one of her swords and propels it into the air.
So I use my telekinesis spell and catapult it back at her, directly hitting her in the head, and she collapses a few feet away from me.
*Bang*
When the one with the fangs tries to stand up, I shoot him in the head, and he drops to the ground too.
"Two gone, one left," I walk towards my tentacle friend and want to shoot him in the head too, but suddenly its head shoots out of his body and floats in the air.
"Rasiel, be careful, my father is pumping his essence into it."
As if hearing her say this, Cthulhu's symbol appears on the deformed head. Then the green tentacles that normally wander down the body shoot out of the head and grab the other two Followers.
When touched by the tentacles, they turn into liquid and fly towards the head, merging into a red giant flesh blob.
*Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang*
I shoot at it, but the green glowing tentacles that seem to be made out of Cthulhu's essence itself simply swipe the bullets away.
After a few seconds, bones appear on the blob, and it falls to the ground, then starts to form into a humanoid being. When it is fully formed, the green tentacles disappear again.
{Now you will regret coming near my daughter, you abomination...}, says Cthulhu, proudly through his new creation.
The monster in front of me is nearly two heads bigger than me, has no skin, but bones that form a protective armor around the monster's flesh and head.
On its right side, a massive tentacle is extending from its body, while its left hand is a colossal sword with four green glowing eyes.
"Well... it seems to be getting interesting," I say with a grin and walk towards it, while reloading my gun.
Meanwhile, Cthylla takes out a paper and then starts to draw something with her blood on it.
