I said a cool pickup line

Since I knew my destination now, I didn't sit down waiting for my enemies to strike. I grabbed a sword sheath, two daggers, and a small bag. I also found some strange scrolls. I didn't check them immediately instead I placed them inside the bag. I planned to check them while moving.

But, before I left, I decided to drink water once again. First, I wasn't sure if I would be thirsty immediately. Second, I wanted to store as much water as possible in my body. It seemed I could do it. Third, I just wanted to see my limit.

This time, I pushed myself to the limit and drank the water for one and a half hours. Finally, I got full this time. But, this wasn't the feeling I got from my stomach rather something triggered my mind and told me that I can't drink more.

Finally, I left the pond and went towards the southern side. The Spirit Kingdom was on the western side of the pond. The Asura Kingdom was on the eastern side. The Ares Kingdom was at the south and the Evergreen Kingdom was at the north.

As for the Volcanic Kingdom and the Stone Kingdom, they both live on the island separated from the rest of the other kingdoms. Four Kingdoms on each side were part of a massive continent surrounded by the ocean. As for the other two kingdoms, they were outside the continent.

I couldn't tell whether it was planned or just a coincidence. Among six races, the weakest ones were Dwarfs. Even though they could create powerful weapons, they weren't exactly powerful in most people's eyes.

As for Giants, they were too powerful but they naturally didn't care much. Them being outside the continent makes the peace between races. Although that peace was quite slippery. Humans and Demons are at constant war.

Elves hate both of them. And, Dryads didn't care about them at all. And, among them all, I was a human with a demon bloodline. Fortunately, I wasn't the only one, or at least, it didn't seem to be the case. According to that old man, there are some offspring from two different races.

Because they are not accepted in both places, they often live in the Ares Kingdom. Being a hunter not only gives them an opportunity to earn but also a place to stay. I was getting curious about this kingdom but it was going to take a long time.

According to the old man, I learned it would nearly take seven days to reach the Ares Kingdom from the pond where he was previously staying. This forest is a border for all four kingdoms. I could meet anyone inside this forest except for monsters.

Come on, man! I should meet a monster in the forest. When did the plot start changing so much?

And, he said there is no such race as called monster rather they call a group of different animal species as monster beasts. These animals live inside the Ares Kingdom. Because eighty percent of Ares Kingdom is a forest.

There were too many of the species, they couldn't separate them into a single race and normally call them monster beasts.

On the first day of my new journey, I encountered nothing. Fortunately, I didn't feel hungry but knowing that I could feel hungry, I started gathering the fruits I find in the middle of the journey.

On the second day, I started training with a sword. I simply started doing some simple moves such as stab, block, swing, draw, and control. Among them, control was the basis for everything. Because whether it was stab or draw, I needed control in every step but the control itself was also a move.

If you can control your sword perfectly, then you can turn a simple move into a deadly attack in the middle of a battle. So, I basically focused the next two days on these moves.

But, on the third day, I actually encountered some people. It was actually a group but oddly enough it was a group of hunters. There was a human. A demon with a humanoid body and facial structure except for a bulky body and horns on his head.

A small person who held a giant hammer in his hand. And, there was another human but for some reason, he was a little too big for a human. He was almost nine feet tall and bulky.

Then, there were two females. Both were extremely beautiful. One of them was holding a bow and arrow while another was empty-handed. The female with a bow and arrow had pointy ears while another female was wearing a green dress with flower-patterned on it.

And, they were battling against a group of wolves. It was a blue wolf with white fur on its neck. They were quite ferocious. At first, I didn't understand it properly but after a while, I learned that I had crossed a lot of distance.

It was probably because of my new speed. I never thought I had covered the distance of five days in just two days. I hid behind the tree and decided not to interfere. I would love to talk with these people but I didn't want them to assume that I wanted to steal their prey.

"Megumi, use your wide-range attack!"

"Beth, use Horn of Battle!"

"Fandrill, did you finish making the Hammer for Deckard?"

"Alena, get ready to use healing at any moment."

The human male started commanding his group. The first person he commanded was the elf. She nodded her head and raised her bow towards the sky. She took a deep breath and a silver arrow formed on the bow.

Whoosh!

"Silver Paradise!"

When the arrow shot out of the bow, it moved towards the sky but after a certain distance, it curved towards the ground. The next moment, the dozens of arrows appeared next to it and rained down the on the wolf.

Splash! Bang! Splash! Bang! Bang!

The silver arrows were quite heavy. When they touched the wolf, they pierced it but most of the arrows were useless. They only hit the ground when the wolves dodged them.

"Grr!"

The wolves instantly targeted Megumi and rushed towards her but suddenly, the demon jumped between them and roared.

"Horn of Battle!"

At this moment, a strange sound came out of his body. It spread out and every wolf who was targeting others changed their target to him. When they changed their target, a smile appeared on his face.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

The wolves slammed their claws at Beth, trying to tear him apart. To some extent, they were doing it. But soon, the yellow light covered his body and started healing him. Even though he was attacked by nearly dozens of wolves, he wasn't scared.

He was the tank of the team. It was his goal to prevent these wolves from attacking others. At the same time, the nine feet tall man, Deckard held a giant hammer in his hand as he rushed toward them. He held his hammer tightly and slammed those wolves.

But when he did, the human male closed his eyes.

"Dumbass, why are you hitting me?" Suddenly, Beth jumped out of the piles of wolves' bodies and shouted at Deckard. Although he was hit by the hammer as well, he wasn't injured. Not to mention, yellow light was still healing him.

"Megumi, be careful!"

Suddenly, the human male shouted as he rushed towards the elf girl. His elbows burst out of flames, giving him an immense boost in speed. He caught the elf girl and rolled to the ground a few times while covering her body with his arms.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Whoosh!

At the same time, a massive claw slashed empty air. It was a wolf and also bigger than other wolves.

"Everyone, be careful!"

The human male shouted while still holding the elf girl in his hand.

"Fandrill, behind you!"

Beth shouted as his eyes fell on the wolf behind the dwarf. When the dwarf heard his words, he immediately swung his hammer and strike the wolf. But, as he rotate, his eyes fell on the girl wearing a green dress.

"Alena!"

He shouted but the wolf claw was already behind her. Even so, Alena was quite fast. She immediately manipulated vines around her and restricted the wolf's movement. But, she underestimated it. The wolf instantly broke those vines with its sheer strength and its claws appeared pointed at her stomach.

Splash!

Alena closed her eyes in despair but the claw didn't pierce her stomach. Rather, blood splattered on her body. When blood fell on her face, she opened her eyes and saw the man standing in front of her.

And, yes, that was none other than me.

I fulfilled one of my fantasies. I blocked the attack for a beautiful girl. I looked at her and raised my hand. I was holding a piece of cloth as I wiped the blood out of her face.
