The second match of the first round between Shoto Todoroki and Hanta Sero begins. Hanta wrapped his tape around Shoto, hoping to get him out of bounds. However, Shoto created a massive pillar of ice in retaliation, completely immobilizing Hanta and freeing himself in the process. Hanta was unable to move at all, is declared the loser, and Shoto is declared the winner, thus moving on to the second round.
The third match of the first round ends in the blink of an eye; Yagi Roboco blasting off Kaminari Denki with repulser in her palm while he was captivated by her cuteness. Ichika was clapping rapidly at the sideline with tears on his eyes from his daughter's victory.
The fourth match of the first round, Tenya Ida who's equipped with Mei's support gear versus Mei Hatsume. During their match, Mei used the opportunity to advertise her support equipment and items. After ten minutes of cat and mouse, Mei, feeling that she has shown everyone her support gear effectively, walks out of bounds. Tenya wins due to this action but he is not pleased with Mei using him. Ichika on the sideline was laughing the whole time, thinking that he want try it too with his inventions.
Ichika went back to his normal form and the fifth match began. His opponent will be Ashido Mina from Class 1-A. Due to her quirk, her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square shaped eyes with black sclerae and yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes.
Ichika has a serious expression and his eyes are focused on his opponent's leg.
"As expected from the girl with healthy thighs. She's got a super athletic body." he mumbled.
Mina didn't heard him because the crowd on the stadium keep booing at Ichika especially the pro heroes. She's also seems nervous going against someone who has experience as a Pro Hero.
When the battle started, Mina released her acid on all directions but Ichika easily avoided them as he quickly arrived in front of her.
Before Mina was able to respond, Ichika smiled and flicked her in the forehead which pushed her back and fall on the line, making her out of the ring and lose the match.
"Winner, Yagi Ichika!"
*BOOOOOOO!!*
The crowd is still booing at him.
The sixth match was between Yaoyorozu Momo and Takoyami Fumikage. Ichika was smiling conceitedly on the sideline while watching the match.
"Sorry, Fumikage but Momo is different from what she was supposed to be. The result of this match will be different."
The match starts and Momo rushed towards Takoyami.
"Dark Shadow!" Takoyami attacked Momo with his ability.
*Got it!*
Momo stopped and quickly sidestepped to avoid his Dark Shadow then she created a round shield on her right wrist. She blocked the next conservative attack of the Dark Shadow.
*That shield is strange!* the dark shadow spoke.
The shield was absorbing the dark shadow's attack.
Momo suddenly ducked down, avoiding the dark shadow then she spin around and threw the shield towards Takoyami.
Takoyami was caught surprised and hit by the shield.
"Arrrgh!"
The shield returned back to Momo then she threw it again.
Takoyami moved to the side and avoided the shield but when the shield hit the wall, it bounced back quickly and hit Takoyami in the back.
"Ugh!"
The shield returned back to Momo and she caught it back but when she spins around from momentum, a bow and arrow was created in her hand, aiming at Takoyami.
While Takoyami fell in his knees, he used his Dark Shadow to cover himself.
Momo didn't hesitate to shot him and the arrow sticks on the Dark Shadow's body.
*Huh?*
When Momo turned around with her eyes closed, the arrow lit up a blinding light which also affected the audience.
The dark shadow was greatly weakened while Takoyami was groaning in pain.
Midnight concluded that the match was over and Momo was declared the winner.
Ichika looks happy with her improvement.
"Precision beats Power. Timing beats Speed. You learned a lot, Momo."
The seventh match is between Toga Himiko and Kirishima Eijiro.
"Fighting a girl is really unmanly but I have no choice." Eijiro spoke while walking to the ring.
Himiko was smiling the whole time and Eijiro felt something disturbing on her.
She glanced towards Ichika and she nodded at her which made her happy.
When the match started, Kirishima wants to hold back against his opponent but suddenly, something strange is happening with Himiko.
"Huh?"
Everyone around the stadium including the commentators when Himiko slowly transformed to Ichika's appearance.
Kirishima had a bad feeling, seeing the appearance of the man who beaten him one-sidedly in a hero battle. He quickly took his stance as he slowly approached Himiko in Ichika's form.
Himiko took the same boxing stance as the original Ichika then she performed a high-speed left jab.
Kirishima blocked the jab with his hardened arm.
*Bam!*
"She's not strong as the original Ichika. I can do this!"
He tried to get close to Himiko as he takes rapid fire left from her then he swung a counter.
Himiko jumped backwards and avoided the punch. Her right fist bursted in flames and she launched a powerful attack on her opponent.
"Falcon Punch---"
Himiko's body was swallowed by the flames from right hand and she was burning.
Ichika quickly jumped on the ring with fire extinguisher and used it on Himiko.
"Himiko! I told you not to use that move!"
When the fire was stopped, Himiko's disguise melted into a gray viscous liquid.
"Uuuuuu... I'm hungry, Ichika-kun."
Ichika sighed then he carried her in his back.
"Okay, I'll let you have some in the waiting room."
When Ichika and Himiko left the ring, Kirishima was declared the winner of the match and he looks confused.
The last match is between Bakugou Katsuki and Uraraka Ochaco. The match began with Ochaco making her move first. She tried to reach Katsuki, but Katsuki used an Explosion on her. Katsuki reached down to the floor to grab her, only to find Ochaco's jacket lying there. Ochaco moved behind Katsuki to attack him, however, Katsuki's reflexes allowed him to attack her with an Explosion, knocking Ochaco back.
Ochaco tried to get up first, but Katsuki reached her more quickly and used another Explosion on her. Katsuki then used more Explosions on her, causing the crowd to rebuke Katsuki's actions. Shota criticized the crowd for thinking that way, saying that Katsuki is on guard due to his opponent's strength. Ochaco, despite being battered and wounded from Katsuki's Explosion assault, thanks Katsuki for not letting his guard down as it allowed her to put her plan into motion. She created a meteor shower from all of the rubble utilizing the effects of her Quirk. Ochaco fired the meteor shower of rubble at Katsuki, planning to use the shower of rubble as a distraction so that she can attack him directly with her Quirk.
However, Katsuki used a huge Explosion, destroying Ochaco's meteor shower of rubble and knocking her back onto the ground at the same time. Ochaco attempted to drag herself back up to face Katsuki, however, Ochaco's heavy wounds finally take their toll, and Ochaco collapsed onto the ground, unable to move. Midnight went to check her and declared that she is unable to battle anymore, thus Katsuki is declared as the winner.
The battle tournament reaches the second round.
