4 New occurances

When Leonard was walking out of the room prepared to use his newly bought item from the system shop he was met with one of the Heroines of this world.

Lenneza Heil Marchen is Leonard's adopted older sister. Right now she was looking at Leonard with a conflicted look.

If Leonard made a move right now he might get caught on what he is about to do, so he put up a front, and a sharp gaze made its way towards Lenneza.

"What do you want, Sister? Is waking me up not enough?"

"N-no… I just…. "

"What?" Leonard sharply looked at her

"Never mind…"

Leonard would have asked her normally why she was there, but unfortunately, he still has to build the image of a villain, he wouldn't go as far as to be a piece of trash this time.

He would still act as a villain, but one that would be understood. Lenneza turned around and walked back with a forlorn look.

'I have no idea why she's like that, even Leonard's memories don't have a single memory of her being like that'

Leonard shook his head, he had no time to understand the changes in his cold sister. He, who has fairy blood, has the advantage of hearing people's negative thoughts and has heard the wail of pain from someone. He couldn't simply ignore it.

He walked down the stairs and slowly he scanned his surroundings, making sure none would be there to see his actions.

The moment his foot touched the ground floor he walked behind the stairs, just to see nothing.

"Probably a hollow door… or a magically engineered door… I hope it's the former."

He lightly knocked on each wall and then on the wall on the left, he reacted, unlike the other two walls from his front and right, the wall on the right felt hollow.

"How do I enter…"

It's quite an ordeal for him since the wall looks solid, since he's here might as well use external means to make an entrance.

Walking back towards the inconspicuous space of the ground floor, Leonard decided to head towards the shack behind the mansion.

Tools are there and there would also be a drill. It could be noisy when he used the tool but a singular 1cm hole is all he needs to use Shadow Arts:Shadow leap.

As long as there is an opening he could traverse it by being a shadow himself. That's enough opening.

When he was walking towards the back of the mansion from the left wing from which he previously came, all of the servants made way and avoided eye contact.

The words from the mouth seem to traverse fast. Considering that the events from the dining room were already spread.

Leonard ignored such an attitude and continued heading towards the shack from the backyard.

After going there he was stopped by yet another figure this time it was her stepmother.

"Aww, cmon… "

"What's with that look?"

Leonard tried to ignore her, he also ignored her in the dining room because nothing can come out when talking to her or any kind of interaction at all.

"You! Is that how you showed your gratitude after I took care of you?!"

Leonard stopped in his tracks, the woman who's his stepmother sneered at Leonard as he stopped in his tracks.

"Tsk! I should hire another tutor for you to learn some manners! Even in the… Dining… room.. "

Her knees felt weak and she slumped down. Leonard finally turned around, however, he was excluding bloodlust that might turn material.

"Hmm… you're not necessary aren't you?" Leonard contemplated

"L-Leonard?" Elizabeth weakly muttered

"Keep my name out of your mouth."

He was domineering, the existence of this 10-year-old child was making the stepmother feel queer.

"Oh well, you aren't that necessary when I look at it…"

Leonard stretched out a hand, prepared to do the worst towards the stepmother.

"L-Leo!"

However, another familiar voice stopped him from committing such an act. Lenneza was on the other side of the wide corridor with a face filled with sweat. As if she ran directly to where Leonard and the stepmother were located.

"W-what are you going to do?"

"That's non"

"...?"

"None of your business."

"L-Leo—"

"And sister. I don't remember our relationship being intimate for you to call me by nicknames"

Leonard smiled as if nothing was happening at all. Lenneza however was trembling, as if the last of her energy was already exhausted.

Leonard clicked his tongue, he didn't want to see Lenneza in such a state, so he decided to end it now.

"Well it doesn't matter, don't get in my way. Especially you." Leonard looks at his stepmother "Elizabeth if I remember, don't get in my way."

To call your stepmother by the first name is still disrespectful, even with honorifics there is no such case a child would call their mother on a first name basis.

Leonard however, doesn't care. Elizabeth, on his first run. Was such a bitch he almost lost a couple of thousands of points because of her continuous meddling.

"Y-you child of that damn fairy!"

Leonard halted his tracks. Calling her mother Fairy became taboo in the duchy because of the consequences it may bring. But for Leonard, it was such a traumatic event, so for Elizabeth just to call his mother a 'damn fairy' would get on his nerves.

"Hahaha… I think I wasn't clear enough."

Leonard looked at the furniture close to the wall, it was a short table housing a vase with an ornamental flower in it.

Leonard gazed back at Elizabeth with such a rugged look and smiled devilishly. Lenneza was too tired, even if she tried to run and stop Leonard she wouldn't be able to do so.

Leonard went to the vase as Lenneza expected him to, he was carrying it with ease and started walking towards Elizabeth with killing intent. Lenneza with all her might conjured every mana on her body and threw a spell toward Leonard.

"L-Leo! Stop it!"

She hit the vase that Leonard was supposed to use and it shattered like glass, the water that was inside it burst and dirtied every piece of clothing Leonard had.

Lenneza was glad that nothing happened but when she looked at Leonard's eyes she couldn't help but feel chills all over her body, his gaze was strong and yet frightening for a 10-year-old.

"Hah… hahaha… I told you to stay out of my way…"

Lenneza just realized what happened, Instead of just stopping Leonard she also humiliated him. In front of Elizabeth nonetheless, the most hated individual in the scene.

"Tsk!"

Leonard clenched his fists and walked away, leaving the scene and Elizabeth and Lenneza. Then they calmed down, Elizabeth who was subjected to Leonard's killing intent and bloodlust just stood there like a statue.

Leonard was an oppressed child thanks to this stepmother. She always hated the fact that a fairy was chosen instead of her, who was labeled as the most beautiful woman in the Empire.

Lenneza, on the other hand, continued to follow Leonard.

'No! No! Leo! What is happening! You weren't supposed to be like this!'

Anxiously, Lenneza walked silently towards where Leonard would go. What she didn't know however was that Leonard became aware of her stalking.

"She saw me under the stairs didn't she?"

Leonard was suspicious, of this change in his sister and Lenneza who was worried about Leonard's change.

At this age Lenneza was sure that Leonard was such a bratty kid, so he wouldn't do those things. He would wail, be coy and even be nervous when he steals a candy. There's a bit of innocence down there.

That's what she knew, but now she regretted it. It was the first time she had ever seen the relationship between Elizabeth and Leonard. She never took attention to things back then.

She only knew that everything in this household was against her, but she didn't expect Leonard to be in that situation as well.

Leonard took his time going to the shack that contained the tools that he wanted.

"Using a hammer and a nail would be the easiest to use, wouldn't it? Rather than a drill… oh! This could work"

Leonard took a corkscrew and nodded, this would be silent. But there is a problem, Leonard's body is quite weak.

It's the same in the first run as well, Leonard kept himself weak and even used guns as a way of self-defense.

Why would a third-rate villain know how to use martial arts? He would use magic to suppress anyone he wants! That's how it works.

"Considering I have to make my own fate means I don't have to follow the first run."

Leonard laughed, he took the corkscrew instead. It's enough too. Dig a shallow hole in that thin wall.

Then he felt a presence.

"It's her again isn't it?"

Leonard sighed, why is that cold sister following him so damn much? He couldn't help but be annoyed.

He wanted to avoid her to avoid plot deviation, to make sure her character stays the same. After all, her icy attitude is for the protagonist to melt, not him.

And now Leonard doesn't know what tipped her change in attitude. Is it because of that night?

"Did Leonard ever call her sister…?"

When he went back to being Leonard and Lenneza barged into his room he called her sister.

"Argh… it doesn't matter, that's the best way to keep someone at arm's reach."

If possible he would've already befriended Lenneza but that situation of being a villain doesn't allow him to.

He could only heave a sigh, so hiding the corkscrew in his pockets he slammed the door of the shack open and he could briefly see the hem of Lenneza's skirt on the corner of the shack, hiding.

"Sister, if you're going to hide, make sure your clothes are out of sight as well."

This caused Lenneza to flinch, really uncharacteristic of her to do so. Leonard just sighed and proceeded to ignore her and walked away.

Lenneza took a peek off the corner just to see Leonard walking away. She still doesn't understand what he was doing.

"Ugh… I should just give up…"

Lenneza contemplated but she couldn't help but think what she was doing was counterproductive, she couldn't learn anything about her little brother.

The only thing she knew was that of his diary on the first run.
