1 Prologue: Sudden Meeting

One cold midnight in one residential beach party, a dare was being shared among the heart-dropping music that kept echoing throughout the beach. Every invited to the party was having too much fun from losing themselves. All they did was have fun from drinking random alcohol at the bar; pretending not to take drugs on the side; singing out of tune while dancing like lunatics on the sand dance floor or they just play dare around the bonfire while some were plotting to get laid for the night.

"I dare you to kiss whoever sat on the right side of the man in front of you." One man in his thirties dared his colleague that's sitting a couple of seats apart.

"What's the catch?" a lady colleague who's around in her mid-twenties and a half has dared drunkenly asked him.

"10 box." He responded with his sinister smile.

"Better to have some great deal for that kiss." She countered him.

"Then get laid." Another colleague who's arms wrapped around another girl that's sitting beside him.

"Assholes." She chuckled.

"Fresh fruit mix lunchbox at work for the entire week, how's that?" another lady colleague and best friend of hers made a very best offer that she would love the most.

"That's a great deal." She laughed as she nudged her best friend sitting next to her.

All of them were waiting for someone to a seat at the right side of the man who seems like waiting for someone while they were chatting random things. But for the person who's being dared, it was another thing to tell since she's been eyeing anyone who's passing or talking to the man yet there's no one sitting next to him whether on his left or right. She's getting a little bit frustrated which made her drunk the remaining vodka on her shot glass. But out of the blue, her heart started to race as her eyes landed over a woman that's walking to their spot but more on the place where the man was waiting. She watched them like a hawk until their eyes met, there was something sudden that began to click in between them. Without knowing to herself, she was already walking toward the woman sitting right next to the man.

"Ahm, hi." The dared lady greet the woman shyly that interrupted the conversation that's been happening there.

"Hi?" the woman greeted back in her wary tone since she does know why the lady approached her.

"Just a dare." That was the only thing she managed to say to the woman.

"Oh, o…" the woman got the idea but she was totally surprised when the lady pulled her collar for a kiss which wasn't just a kiss.

Both of them weren't labeling themselves or even thought of being lesbians but it was something more since they were exchanging hot kisses until it's time for them to stop. They might not like to stop but they have to. Catching breath while forehead was touching, it seems like they were in different time just by themselves and when their orbs locked onto each other, they want more but no.

"That's wow…" the woman only whispered since she totally cant form any word from that kiss. It might be just a dared kiss but to this woman, it was something else.

"My first kiss…" the lady mumbled in her very low voice yet the woman she just kissed, heard it clearly.

"Do you hate it?" the woman cautiously wondered yet there's worry in her tone.

"No, lovely." She smiled at the woman.

"Then hope to kiss you soon." The woman smiled back at her.

"Maybe when I'm sober." She was shy once again that made the woman laughed as she nods at that comment.

"Then go back and take your price." The woman told her to go back to her colleagues who were stunned at what she just did to the woman.

"Thanks for letting me do that." She stood up straight while their hands were interlocked with each other.

"No problem. Just go back or you won't be leaving my lips any longer." The woman smiled genuinely at her which made her blushed out of the blue.

"Funny. But cute." She just chuckled over it before she left the woman that was sitting right next to the man.

As she went back to her colleague, she felt her cheeks were burning and when she got back to her seat; her colleagues were not speaking since their jaw already hit on the sand. None of them have the guts to speak about what just happened which the lady just dismissed and enjoyed the rare night for her.

When the following day came on knocking each of them, they were back on being busy running about their works and doing research at the very prestigious and well-known research laboratory at the kingdom of Ciel Nocturne, the Aspire-Cross Research Laboratory.

"Milady, I received an email from Duchess of Aspire. She wants you to finish the FRSil that you've been planning to make." A very well-coordinated assistant inform one of the heads of the research company itself.

"She really wanted to kill me. Did she told you why she wants me to finish it alone?" the woman asked her secretary slashed personal assistant slashed best friend while they were walking at the hall of the research facility that looked like a hospital.

"Well, the Duchess wants you to handle the research and she also appointed someone to be your partner to the entire process of the research. She's already here waiting at the PR-Lab 1." The assistant answered before opening the door of the laboratory one for her boss.

"Thank you." The woman thanked her PA before entering the room.

Once she entered the room, the same scent that she's been dying to meet again was already wrapping her nostrils which made her eyebrows knotted then she sneezed. From that sneeze, the lady from last night was standing in front of her really sober and she couldn't believe it.

"I'm Mirna James. I'm directly appointed by Lady Syrina to help you with the FRSil research." The lady who stood up upon opening the door of the private research laboratory 1 immediately introduced herself.

"I'm Elrisha Cross…" the head of the research laboratory introduced back but she was being cut off by the shocked expression of the lady in front of her.

"YOU!" Mirna shocked expression made Elrisha's left eyebrow arched all of the sudden.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean it, it's just I didn't expect that I'll be working with the CEO itself that's all." Mirna quickly apologized with such shaken nerves in her tone.

"I see. Shall we proceed then?" Elrisha was dismissed before inviting her new colleague for a quick tour in the research laboratory that they were going to use.

"Yes, please." Mirna was indeed excited but along that sudden meeting, there's a glance of last night's kiss that kept popping through their minds that they couldn't get away from.
