The Revelation

Vlad sighed when he saw the document given to him by his private investigator.

He rubbed his forehead. 

How did this happen? How?

"Doc, how is my best friend?" Miao asked the doctor. 

"Because of too much stress so she lost consciousness, it is bad for her to cry especially when she is sick." said the doctor.

"S-Sick?" she asked.

"We diagnosed that she has cancer and it's stage 4. "

"W-What?" she looked at her friend. "B-But doc she's so strong how does she have cancer?"

"Well, although her illness is serious she is still fighting."

Miao sat down, Badeth has cancer?

Why didn't she tell her that she was seriously ill?

She cried, now everything became more complicated.

"Freak!" Vlad arrived. "What happened?"

Miao removed Vlad's hand on her.

"She fainted, you are already here so I will leave now." she was about to leave but Vlad held her hand again.

"Can you please listen to me first?"

"My mind is messed up now, please don't add to my problems Vlad, please."

She withdrew her hand then finally went out.

Vlad closes his eyes, why is this happening to them now?

He looked at Badeth, he walks towards her.

"Why this is happening to you? Why at the time when I'm already in love someone else?" he whispered.

"I'm sorry for what I've done before, promise I won't do that again, come back please…" Gyu begged while holding Jinji's hand.

They are at the café now. She looked away as her tears fell. The truth is, she still loves him and she misses him so much.

"Promise I will never be angry again, I will not shout at you, I will not hurt you again. We will start over again please go home with me."

She withdrew her hand from him. "B-But how about Miss Ye?"

"We're not talking anymore, when you left I realized how much I love you. I became a fool and I forgot that you are the woman who is always by my side. If you will give me another chance I promise I will correct all my mistakes."

"I-Is that true?"

"Yes it's true, I don't want to lose you again. Please… come with me."

Jinji thought carefully, if she live with Gyu again it will be better for their baby. The baby will grow up with a father.

She smiled.

"Are you forgiving me now?"

"Yes." She nodded with a smile.

Gyu's face was full of joy.

He immediately hugged her tightly. "Promise, I will never repeat what I've done before." he said. "I love you so much honey."

"I love you too." she replied.

Then he kissed her.

"Ehh? How did that happened?" Rael asked in surprised.

She's now with Miao, Zol and Xander.

"I don't know either." Miao sighed. "I was very sad when I discovered that my best friend was sick."

"Now that she's sick there's a big chance that Vlad will go back to her." said Zol.

Rael kicked him.

"What are your plans now? Have you talked to Vlad yet?" Xander asked.

"I don't want to talk to him, I'm scared with what he will say." she said.

"But Miao you need to. You two will have a hard time if you will continue to avoid him." said Xander.

"But it hurts so much…. hays. I'm tired of this, can we just talk about something else?" she said.

The three looked at each other.

Badeth slowly opened her eyes, she woke up that she was already in the hospital.

"Bes.." said Miao.

"B-Bes, w-what am I doing here?" she asked.

"You fainted." Miao replied.

She helped Badeth to sit up straight.

"My head hurts." she moaned while holding her head.

"Bes…"

"Yes?"

"Why didn't you tell me about your condition?"

She was obviously surprised by what Miao said.

"Why didn't you tell me you have cancer?"

She immediately looked away. "I-Im sorry bes, I don't want you to get worried that's why I keep it from you."

"But I'm your best friend."

Badeth looked at Miao then smiled. "I'm sorry for making you worry, I'm strong bes so no need to worry about me."

Miao hugged her. "Promise I will always by your side."

"Thank you bes." Badeth said. "But you know I have the reason why I keep fighting from this sickness."

Miao gulped. "I-Is that Vlad?"

She nodded. "He's my greatest wish before I die, I want to be with him. I want to be in his side until my last breath."

Miao's tears suddenly fell, she felt guilty. She doesn't want to hurt her.

"But I guess my dream will never come true."

"Don't say that bes."

"But that's the truth, he's now in love with someone else."

Miao suddenly felt nervous. "Did he told you that?"

She nodded. "But I don't know if it's really true or just an excuse."

She saw Badeth crying. She held her hand. "Don't worry, Vlad will come back to you soon. He will not leave you again."

"Are you sure with that?"

"Yes, did you know he came here yesterday and he was worried about you."

"Really?" Badeth's face brightened up. But the smile also disappeared. "But I don't want him

to love me just because of my condition."

"No bes, promise..Vlad will be yours again." her tears continued to fall.

It hurts a lot but she has to sacrifice for her best friend's sake.

"I hope so bes." Badeth force a smile and hugged her.

Vlad was about to leave his office when Miao arrived. 

"I'm glad you came." said Vlad.

"I'm here to ask you a favor." said Miao.

His brows furrowed.

"WHAT? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Vlad got annoyed. 

"This is her last wish, it's not hard to do that, right?" said Miao.

"Not hard? Do you really think that's fine with me? You're the one I love Miao not your best friend!"

"I know, but she's my best friend and she loves you so much."

"How about me? What am I to you? You're choosing your best friend over me!"

Miao held back her tears in front of him, she bit her lower lip so hard. "Can't you just do what I asked? It's for her sake don't you feel sorry for her? Is your heart really that numb?"

Vlad held her hand. "I can't, I can't be with someone I don't love."

"Vlad please… please don't torture me more."

Vlad closes his eyes, why is this happening to them? He was about to speak but Miao's phone rang.

"Yes hello? …WHAT?"

"What happened?"

"I-It's Badeth .."

Miao and Vlad ran to Badeth's room, they saw the nurses taking care of her.

"Doc what happened?" Vlad asked.

"She had a seizure. Fortunately, we quickly stopped it, her condition became worse now. Here, please take a look at this" the doctor showed them her conditions. "She can't live longer, she's lucky if she can live two more years."

Miao covered her mouth and then cried.

Vlad punched the wall.

"I'm very sorry but only prayer can do to prolong her life." the doctor left.

"See? Will you still stay stubborn? She's dying!" Miao sighed.

Vlad stared at her but he said nothing.

Miao just keep crying.

"Are you really sure you want to come back to him? He hurt you already." Hyun asked as she helped Jinji to carry the bags. 

Gyu is outside and waiting.

"He promised me that he will never do that again." said Jinji.

"'And you believe him?"

"It's for my baby's sake." replied. 

Hyun just shook his head.

"Jin, we will miss you." they looked at their parents. 

They hugged her tightly.

"I will visit here every weekend." she said.

"That's good." her mom looked at Gyu. "Please take care of her I don't want to see her crying again."

Her mom didn't know what Gyu did before and until now she still have no idea about her pregnancy.

"I will auntie, promise." said Gyu.

Her mom smiled.

"All right, mom, we're leaving." She said. 

After saying goodbye, they got in the car and left.

Badeth woke up and saw Miao. 

She smiled.

"Are you hungry? You made me worried don't you know that? How are you feeling now?" Miao asked. 

"Im fine bes, no need to worry." she said.

Miao sighed. "By the way, your mom called and told me that they will come here in the Philippines."

She smiled again then nodded. 

"B-By the way bes…" Miao wants to say something but she's hesitating. 

"What is it?" she asked.

Miao smiled. "Someone wants to see you."

Suddenly, the door opened and she immediately smiled when she saw Vlad.

"Vlad!" she almost jump with great joy.

"How are you feeling?" Vlad asked. He doesn't even smile.

"I'm fine, I'm so happy that you visited me." she said.

"Uhm bes, I will leave now." Miao said goodbye then went straight out.

Vlad's gazes followed her.

Miao sighed as she got out from Badeth's room. Vlad and her already have an agreement.

Vlad will gonna take care of Badeth, if they ever meet they will pretend that they don't know each other.

Her phone rang.

"Yes hello?"

"Okay twinnie, bye bye." Rael hung up the phone.

"How is Badeth?" asked by Xander who is now driving the car.

"She said she's fine now, Vlad is there and he is taking care of her." she replied.

"I feel bad for Miao. Vlad loves her but they are now in a complicated situation because of Badeth." said Xander.

"Yes, even I is worried." she said.

They turned left and entered the huge gate.

Rael was amazed to see Xander's large mansion. Today, Xander will introduce her to his mom.

"We're here." he said. 

"I'm nervous." she fidgeted. 

"Pft. Why are you so nervous? Mom is kind, she will like you." he held her hand.

When they got out of the car, the maids immediately greeted them and then bowed.

"Xander my dear!" her mom greeted her son happily.

"Mom!" Xander hugged her.

Her mom was surprised to see Rael. "Who is she?"

"Uhm mom." he held her hand again.

Reason to make her mom's eyes widened.

"I want you to meet Rael, my girlfriend." Xander introduced her.

The smile on Xander's mom's lips disappeared. "Oh, girlfriend?"

"Nice to meet you, auntie." she bowed.

But the old woman did not say a word.

They headed to the dining room.

"I didn't expect Xander to bring his girlfriend here." his mom looked at her from head to toe.

She examines her, her style, her dress. "You were the one who Xander always mentioned to me?"

"Ah mom, the girl that I mentioned to you before is not Rael. We broke up already, and Rael is the girl I love now." said Xander then looked at Rael.

She smiled.

"Is that so, it's a pity I also wanted to meet that woman. Anyway, which family do you came from? What's your business?" his mom asked again.

"Our family is not well-known but they are nice and friendly. We owned a car company in South Z." she replied.

"South Z? what's the name of that company?"

"RCDM corp."

Xander's mom face turned more serious. "Oh, that small company that I heard in South Z. Hmm, not bad."

Rael looked at Xander, she was embarrassed.

Xander and his mom talked about their businesses, she was out of place in their conversation. Xander's mom no longer pay attention on her, she thought that Xander's mom doesn't like her.

Days had passed, Vlad is always taking care of Badeth. Her parents also arrived, soon she was discharged from the hospital. 

"I'm so happy that the two very important persons to me are here now." Badeth said while they were in the pool area of their mansion.

Vlad and Miao looked at each other.

"I will do everything to make you happy, bes." said Miao.

"Really?" Vlad snorted. 

Miao ignored him. 

"Hehe you know Vlad, since we were kid Miao really does everything to make me happy, everytime I'm upset she always make a way to make me smile. Im so blessed to have her as my best friend." Badeth explained.

"Then if you have something you want but she also wants it she will give it up for you to make you happy? right?" Vlad asked. 

Miao and Badeth looked at each other in confused.

"What do you mean?" Badeth asked. 

"Ahm bes maybe he's hungry that's why he's saying nonsense." said Miao then glared at him. 

"Is that so, let me call the maid. I'll be back." Badeth stood up and left them.

"What the hell is your problem?" Miao immediately sat beside him. 

"What? Im just asking." said Vlad.

"What if Badeth discover about our relationship? She must not know about us."

"But why? Badeth and I already broke up and besides you are my fiancée."

"Vlad can't you see the situation?"

"So I'll just put up with it? All right, how long will I endure this? How long are we going to pretend in front of her?"

"Vlad I'm doing this for her sake, if she finds out about us I'm afraid something bad will happen to her."

"But you're my fiancée!"

They stopped when they heard a broken glass, they immediately turned around.

"B-Bes…" said Miao.

"F-Fiancee? You two are…"

"Bes listen first." said Miao.

Badeth shook her head. "You two are engaged? Are you getting married?"

"Just calm down."

"NO! you lied to me!"

"Bes let us explain"

"You made me look stupid! How long do you intend to hide from me about your relationship? until I die?"

"Badeth don't blame Miao!"

"Don't blame her?" she laughed bitterly. "You're both liars! LIARS!!!"

Badeth ran inside.

"Bes wait!" Miao is about to chase her but Vlad held her arm.

"What now?" Miao withdrew her hand from him and then chased Badeth.

"Bes please open the door, listen to me first please." Miao knocked on the door of her room.

"I don't want to see you! Leave me alone!"

"Bes please let me explain, I did not mean to lie to you."

"I DON'T CARE! I DON'T NEED YOU! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU!" Badeth shouted as she cried inside.

Miao's tears keeps dripping. 

"GET OUT!" Badeth shouted again.

"I-Im sorry bes." she said as she left.

When she got out from the mansion she saw Vlad waiting outside his car.

She walks fast.

"Freak, let's talk." he said.

"We don't have to talk anymore! Because of you, Badeth is mad at me now and if something bad happens to her, I will never forgive you." she immediately called a taxi.

"Is that woman really more important than me?"

"She's my best friend!"

"But im your fiancé!"

Miao stared him in the eyes. "Is that still really important to you? You're so selfish!" she got in to the taxi.

"You're the one who's selfish! Do you think that I am not hurt by what you are doing? Let's talk!" Vlad chased the taxi but it was fast.

He cried out in rage, he went back to his car and will try to chase them.

"Here, this is your favorite food." Gyu said while smiling as he put the food on Jinji's plate.

But Jinji immediately covered her mouth when she smelled the food, she stood up and quickly went to the sink to throw up. 

Gyu frowned, he stood up and approached her. "I noticed that you always bot feeling well, every time I bring home your favorite food you don't eat them, you only eat those weird foods."

"I just don't feel okay." she's about to return to the table but he grabbed her arm.

"Tell me, are you pregnant?" his face is very serious.

Jinji could not answer immediately she got nervous especially when she saw the scary expression on his face.

Should she admit it? "G-Gyu.."

"ANSWER ME ARE YOU PREGNANT?" he shouted.

"Y-Yes." she cried and lowered her head. 

She was surprised when Gyu suddenly threw the plate in the sink. "When? and who is the father?"

"Y-You are the father."

"Liar! We never make love so how come you got pregnant? Are you really fooling me?"

"But you're the father!" she began to cry.

"Shut up! Is it Hyun right? You are always together, aren't you?"

"He's my brother!"

"You're not blood related!"

"Why don't you believe me?"

"Because nothing happened to us!"

"YOU RAPED ME!!!"

Gyu was stunned.

Jinji keeps crying. "H-Have you forgotten? T-That night you were drunk, after you beat me! You raped me!"

What happened that night suddenly flashbacks in Gyu's memory.

Actually when he woke up that day he could not remember what had happened due to excessive intoxication, all he thought is to look for Jinji and find a way to get her back so he didn't give attention in remembering what happened that night.

"I-I didn't…"

"You disrespect me! And now you don't want to accept that we will having a baby?"

"I-I'm sorry I didn't know." he tried to hold her.

"Don't touch me! I'm so tired of understanding you… I thought you were going to change but I was wrong!"

"Jin…"

"This is enough sir, I'm tired. I'm sorry but…I can't stand you anymore. Let's end up our relationship here." she quickly left. 

Gyu was left speechless.

She's tired?

He sat down. They're having a baby…. he will be a father soon…

"J-Jin!" he immediately stood up to chase her.
