The dinner at Jani's house looked fun. Of course, Jani and Netha are cooking. If there is anything else that can divert all the anxiety in Jani's heart, this is the place.

Knock... knock... knock...

Arjuna hastily opened the front door. "You've finally come too, bro! I think it's fun at home playing PUBG hahaha!" while shaking hands in the style of a young, Arjuna slightly teasing.

"For your sister's sake, PUBG which is usually number 1, tonight I cheat on it," the man chuckled amused. Arjuna let the man in.

Jani has finished arranging the food with Netha. When she turned around to get an extra plate, she was shocked beyond measure. "Mr Arga? Why can you be here?" Jani was flabbergasted.

"I invited him, Jan. Arga is my friend in the middle school. And he also helped me to get a new job. Hopefully, the proposal will be accepted," replied Arjuna, punching Arga's shoulder.

Arga just snorted amused hearing Arjuna's narrative. Ambiguous. Job application or the other application?

"Did I startle you?" Arga said gracefully as if they were that close.

"Ah, I'm just a little surprised, sir. Please sit down!" Jani replied as politely as possible.

After all, Arga is the boss at the office. And for the sake of Neptune why did Arjuna have to invite him here? Jani started to feel bad. She was suspicious.

When Jani was about to continue her activity of taking an extra plate, Arga grabbed her hand. "Don't call me 'sir' when you're outside the office," a smile that might make many women hysterical, but instead made Jani uncomfortable.

"But I'm not polite if I do that, sir. Oh, sir, what do you want to drink?" Jani didn't want to get too close to this man.

Afraid that Mas Dana will be jealous again. Oh jealous? Really? Jani's heart laughed at the word 'jealousy' that Jani used to emphasize Dana's attitude yesterday.

"Really? Jani I'm not your boss when out of the office. So please, don't make me look old like that. Oh yes, I just drink water," Arga chuckled.

"Okay then, emm Arga," Jani smiled awkwardly and immediately left in front of Arga.

The actual dinner was only for Arjuna, Netha and herself, but now increase one person and the worse, he is Jani's boss at the office. Even though Jani wanted to talk about finding a boarding house for girls and wanted to be honest with her brother about living under the same roof with Dana, she canceled the intention because Arga was here. Fortunately, her father was loading shop goods overtime.

Yes, she had decided to get out of Dana's apartment. She thought about this all night. Her common sense told her to move to a boarding houses but not by returning to live at home. Because she really wants to be independent and she wants to move to a boarding house that is close to his workplace. Living in the same apartment with Dana made her afraid that her father would find out. Especially Dana, who didn't really love her. What would happen if his father found out and then asked them to just get married? She doesn't want to marry without love.

"How about the food, Ga? Isn't it good for Netha and Jani to cook?" Arjuna smiled meaningfully.

"It's delicious, I think she is suitable to be a wife," Arga smiled sincerely.

"Yes, Netha is suitable to be a wife, after all, she is going to get married," Jani replied.

"I mean it's you," Arga cast his shady gaze at Jani.

The girl he was talking to could only stare at her empty plate while playing with her spoon.

"Do you hear me, Jan? Arga already liked you the first time he met you in your office. It really happened that I was talking to him about my plans to marry Netha when hanging out with him, he talked back. When I asked what the girl's name was, it turned out to be you. I met you in the afternoon, at night Arga talked to me, do you use a black magic, Jan?" Arjuna spoke as if he was carefree.

Jani could only smile stiffly. She didn't respond. She felt uncomfortable.

After they finished eating they enjoyed dessert in the form of chocolate pudding made by Netha. They sat in front of the TV, chatting from the important to the absurd.

"Can we talk?" Arga looked up at Jani who was sitting on the sofa and he was on the carpet right in front of Jani.

Jani nodded then they rushed out of the house. They sat on the terrace. However, just sitting down, Jani's cell phone roared, wanting to be picked up immediately.

"I'll take a call in a second, okay?" Jani said calmly.

Arga nodded. Jani walked into her house again.

"Yes Dan?" Janie smiled.

Dana called her.

"Why are you suddenly coming home? I'll pick you up later, okay?"

This day Dana has a meeting with clients who plan to invest in the opening of Green Trees in Jogja. At night when he found the apartment seemed empty, he immediately checked his cellphone. Ah it turns out Jani sent a short message saying goodbye to go home. And again he realized he didn't care about Jani. Evidently the girl who was on her phone had called up to 10 times but he did not pick up. Even though he and his client are meeting in a relaxed atmosphere at his cafe, it's not hard to pick up the phone, right?

"Ah sorry I forgot to say that last night my brother invited me to eat at home while talking about his plans to get married, Dan. Ummm no need to be picked up, I will stay here and tomorrow morning I go to the office right away, "said Jani smoothly.

"Tomorrow, from the office you'll come back here, right?" Ask Dana.

"Yes, of course Dan," Jani smiled wider.

"Well then, I hang up the phone, okay?" after Jani answered 'yes' Dana actually hung up the phone.

The girl looked disappointed. She let out a low sigh and started cursing herself for endlessly waiting for Dana.

"Stop it Jan, do you want him to say that he misses you? In your dream!" she thought.

Jani rushed back to the terrace to meet Arga who was smoking.

"Are you smoking?" Jani asked as she sat beside Arga.

They are separated by a table with an ashtray.

"Yeah, don't you like it when I smoke?" a question that made Jani awkward.

"Oh, that's not it. Because if you're in the office, you never smoke. Besides, why should I dislike it?" Jani laughed, trying to break up the weird atmosphere created by Arga's eyes on her.

"It's okay if you don't like it, just say to me. I can try to stop smoking from now on," as Arga finished speaking, he also immediately put out his cigarette into the ashtray.

Jani is speechless. "Why is this so weird, anyway? Is this person addicted, huh? What should I say?" Jani has not succeeded in issuing her response to Arga's attitude.

"I like you. But I don't know how to tell you from the first time we met, you seem to have created a fortress between us," Arga made Jani even more nervous to leave.

"Why me? I don't know what to say to you. I never even thought about liking you. Not only because you are my boss at the office, but I am also in a complicated phase, I also don't want to give you only hope," answered Jani diplomatically.

"No matter how complicated it is, I'll wait. I'm also not forcing you to accept me right now. And about hope, I was expecting even more after I met you," Arga smiled sincerely.

Jane couldn't close her eyes. She saw Netha was sleeping beside her. She didn't want to assume that Arga already loved her. Even Dana, who has become her lover, has even done a kissing scene, in fact he doesn't have that feeling yet. She didn't want to think too much about what had happened on the terrace of the house, Jani immediately closed her eyes. She wished she could reach Dana's heart even if it was only through a dream. Yes, she wanted Dana until it makes her hard to breathe.

Beautiful morning. Jani is ready to go to the office. Before she could eat what was already on her breakfast plate, someone knocked on her door. When Jani opened the door, her face immediately turned shocked when she found out that it was Arga who had come.

Arga smiled at the door opened by Jani. "Just go to the office with me, okay? Just leave your motorbike here later, so that Mr. Marno will take it here," Arga smiled with his eyes fully looking at Jani's eyes.

Taking a gulp that tasted like gulping down a thorn, Jani politely refused Arga's request, "I'm sorry Ar, I'm going alone. Eumm… I've already said before that I'm in a tricky situation after all." Arga looks disappointed with Jani's answer.

"Well, I'll just follow from behind, okay?" bargain again.

"Eh... don't fuss over, Ar," Jani refused, getting annoyed but held back because Arga was the boss. "You think this is your village with free from traffic jams," Jani thought.

Finally, because Jani kept refusing, Arga relented.
