Marco's POV

Hey, I'm Marco Leone and I'm the school's nerd. Eveline and I used to be friends before the summer party I threw at my house.

I wrap my arms around my waist and Levi leaves with a wink. I roll my eyes. Eveline turns towards me and wraps her arms around my neck.

We dance for 30 minutes.

Levi King calls her over and she leaves me standing here without her presence.

After that Levi knew I had a thing for his girlfriend or his 'Eve' which I kinda do but Eveline only looks at me as a little brother. As I walking to my next class Levi called out "Hey nerd!" I sighed. "What Levi?" "Stay away from my Devy" referring to Eveline. "As if I'll stay away from her." He punched me in my stomach "Stop it, Baby!" Eveline screams. I look up to see her running toward us.

"Ah, baby what are you doing?" "Leave him alone baby!" She sasses. "B-but he'll try to steal you from me!" "Shut it!" She bends down to my level and asks "Marco you good?" I nod. She helps me stand up and takes me to the Nurse's office.

*In Nurse's office*

"Hello Lock," says Mrs. Smith "Hello Mrs. Smith!" Mrs. Smith notices my eye. "Oh my." running out of the office. "Oh, Marc I'm so sorry about Levi. Levi can easily get jealous of guys around me." I sigh "It's ok." She cups my face and leans in to kiss me on the cheek.

We leave the Nurse's office and go to lunch.

Aw shit! I forgot my lunch money.

She notices and giggles. When I'm not looking she pays for my lunch. She mouths 'See ya at the party.' She walks toward the popular table.

*Nerd table*

"Hey, dude!" Jonas says "Hey," I say back. He notices I'm sad. "What's wrong dude?" "What party is happening tonight?" "The get-together party." I open my mouth but then shut it. "Hey," Seliva says. "Seliva leave me alone." She whimpers "W-why?" "Just shut the fuck up." Seliva ends up crying. I heard laughter and giggles erupt from the Popular table. All of us turn to see them laughing at Seliva "Enough!" Eveline yells. I send her a thank you smile. "Ellie, Zoe, Callie be nice for once!" All the girls at the popular table are quiet. Only the guys are snickering." Shut the fuck up guys!" She yells. Everyone guy and girl are quiet at the popular table.

"Sis!" I turn to see Ethan. "Hey, Ethan." She greets him. I feel someone's eyes burning holes into my head. I turn to see it's Levi and the football team. They walk towards the popular table and sit down next to their girls.

Finally Art class.

Mr. Smith announces that were doing a group assignment. Then he said, "Ok partners of two."

*School finishes*

Eveline gets in her car and I stop her she looks at me. "Can we start it tonight?" She nods and motions for me to get in. I get in. I look behind me to see Ethan and Seliva looking at me "Hey Marco." Ethan says "Hey." Seliva says.

*Lockwood's house*

As we walk inside Mrs. and Mr. Lockwood greet us. "Marco?" Mrs. Lockwood questioned. "Yes?" I answer. "You've grown. You look like skin and bones!" Mr. Lockwood "Marco my boy how have you been?" "Good," I answer. Eveline cuts in "Mother!" Mrs. Lockwood turns and answers "Yes Evelyn?" "The food is burning." I start sniffing the air and started coughing Eveline was correct. Mrs. Lockwood dashes into the kitchen.

Eveline motions us to come. We all follow her. She whispers to Ethan. Then She takes me to her room closing the door behind her.

Her room looks different. It is all white.

She laughs "Are you done yet?" "Mhm." I walk towards her. "You can take a shower." I smell myself "I smell bad?" She shakes her head "Just do it."

After I come out of the shower I change into the clothes she set down.

I walk out. She skips into the bathroom and showers. After she finish showering she came out in her PJs.

She plots herself on her bed I start drawing her as the siren. After I finish drawing her as a siren I call her over "Devy." She walks over and sits next to me looking at the drawing.

She looks between the drawings and smirks "We'll do all." I look at the paintings of the sirens she did. I look closer to realize one was a siren getting petted by a human. "I like this one." "Oh, you do?" She asks surprised, I nod. "It's decided! We're showing this one!" we both sign our names on it.
