1 CHAPTER 1 THEIR FIRST ENCOUNTER

Happiness is nothing but an illusion in which millions of people walk just because they don't want to accept their reality as, in the end, they have to leave their loved ones. But at the moment of life and death, they still make a wish with a powerful desire that a soft-hearted creator might grant them the wish but there is no god to pray. No one is listening. In the end, everybody has to go and remember the more beautiful memories you will make, the more pain you feel leaving them and the much more pain they will feel when saying goodbye.......

a pretty girl walking down the streets of New York, the whole city is shining brightly with lights and decoration. The city is full of chaos. In the all this happy and cheerful ambience, we can't see any emotion in her face, it is just telling lonely and hurt now she is standing in front of a grand mansion where she live it has everything one can expect to live a good life but she is not happy at all if it can't give her happiness than what can lets see in her story......

She took her steps in the mansion, which was very quiet and silent, but there was no peace to be found. It seems like the house is moaning in pain as it was forced to keep a dark secret. She goes into a dark room which is filled with some pictures of her and her family. Everything is shattered and dusty except that room where she is sitting on a chair and writing something.

Olivia - how have you been? I hope you are doing well wherever you are. I hope you are alive and still waiting for me. I will find you soon. Just give me some time. It's been 2 years now, but I still miss you and regret my action and why this is happening. If it is my punishment, then don't you think it's enough now, because I can't bear it at all? You always used to say God gives punishment that much you are capable of bearing. Don't you think he overestimates my competence or I don't think there is any god to pray to because he never listens to innocent ones, but you know what it is today. You know today is the day when I first met you. I still remember that on New Year's eve you had just come into my dark life like the hope of bright light which clearly shines in your eyes. I still remember everything. How you are smiling at me more than you. I can see your heart smiling and that is the day I smiled the first time I smiled that heartily and I think last time also ......

olivia-oo no, it's already 12 am now. It means new year eve finally comes to an end, so my hurtful, painful memories which still make me smile have also come to an end 1 more year, but still I can't find you. I was happy alone. Why do you even come to my life if you can't live with me forever? Now I think I should sleep. I have to go to my university tomorrow (sigh)....

Next morning, 2 January 2022 ( its the day which is going to change everything in Olivia's present as well as the past. Let's see what is going to happen and with whom she is going to encounter..)

Olivia is walking down the streets from her mansion to the bus stop to go to her university. After walking for the whole 30 min, she reaches the stop and now she is waiting with her headphones on, eyes closed and you can see some gloominess in her face, but some of the students were there talking, laughing and enjoying their lives. But she is unbothered, standing there like this for 2 years now. After some minutes, a bus arrived and everybody went inside it and drove to their destination.

after sometime.....

Now she is walking in the hallway of her university with her straight, emotionless face which, once in a time, forgot how to be sad, but now when anyone sees her, never believed she was happy once a while. When she was walking from the hallway to her desk, she could hear some students gossiping about her but she never approached them, neither did she talk to anyone. She always sits near the window on the last bench and minds her own business.

The bell rings and the professor enters the classroom .....

professor - good morning class. I hope you are all doing well.

students- good morning professor

professor - so today we have a new student in our class due to some personal reason. He is joining late. I hope you will be good friends with him and help him in his assignments. So Mr Kim chan-yeol, please take your seat next to Olivia.

After the professor finished his line, there was silence in class because in 2 years no one dared to sit next to Olivia.

Olivia was just minding her business and writing something in her book until the professor took her name. She lifted up her head and looked forward and, that time, her eyes met with the boy for the first time. She was completely lost because those 2 years this is the first time she saw this mus calmness in somebody eyes its like his eyes making her to forget all her regretful memories. She came back from her imagination when the professor called her again.

professor- Olivia, are you listening to me make some space for chan-yeol or do you have any problem with this?

She didn't say anything because she was still in her thoughts, which she couldn't figure out at that moment.

professor- I am taking your silence, as yes chanyeol please go and sit there

The whole class went silent that day because the thing was happening which they never imagined in their darkest dreams to happen like that, because Olivia is known for her cold nature and pushing people away from her life, but today how come somebody sat with her and the main thing she didn't oppose and went silent, which is opposite of her nature even her only friend in this university era have struggled for 1 and half years to talk with her lets see what is happening with this two...

chanyeol- [(in mind), so finally, my long wait is coming to an end. You don't know how much time and difficulty it takes to find you. I never thought I would meet you like this. I don't know what destiny is going to do this time, but I am not going to leave your side in any circumstances. A drop of tear escapes from his eyes, which he quickly wipes them]

chanyeol- hi miss Olivia. Your name is Olivia. Right, so I am Kim Chanyeol. You can call me chan or whatever you like. But you are really pretty like a princess in the story, so you must be kind. Can you lend me your assignments? Please, I will give you them back after completing them. I promise you can rely on me.

Olivia- First of all, this is still my seat. You are not going to sit here and I don't need anybody to rely on. Last, who tells you only princesses are pretty? I am going to be a really pretty witch. OK, you can move to another seat right now and I hate people who talk back or don't listen to me.

chanyeol- woohoo you are really something. I like your attitude. You are totally my type. We can be best buddies, so friends, if you are a pretty witch, I am going to be your handsome devil. It will be fun to be with you, so forget about me leaving this seat and you.

olivia- are you deaf or something and those who are weak don't have courage to live and face this world. They need someone by their side and I am not weak at all, so just leave me alone and get the hell out of my life and just get lost . Are you listening just go away? If somebody else is in your place, he/she has known till now who I am.

chanyeol - its always those who are weak act tough when you tell me to get lost. It's like asking me to not leave just stay forever.

and what is different about me that you can't kick me like anybody else? Do you still remember me? Just tell me and you can tell me how many times you want, but I am not going to leave you, so my pretty witch your bad days are coming to an end be ready...

Olivia- what on earth are you? How can you talk like that? Do you even understand what you are talking about? Just be quiet, you are becoming a headache in just an hour. Just tell me who you are

chanyeol - yes, I understand and I already told you I am your handsome devil, so smile. I think you will look prettier with your smile.

Olivia- what am I going to do with you? I am leaving this class. Don't you dare to follow me to understand.

With that, Olivia left the class and Chanyeol followed her from the classroom to the rooftop where she went to calm her mind because this was the first time someone showed up that she couldn't stop thinking about.

Olivia- now what are you doing here? I told you not to follow me. Then what are you doing here?

chanyeol - you also forget that I am not going to leave your side. I will be with you forever.

Olivia- nothing in this world is forever. Can't you be normal for some minutes?

chanyeol- no I can't and I don't want to be normal

Olivia- why

chanyeol - because its normal

Olivia- ahhh you are starting this nonsense again. OK if you can't be normal, so just shut your mouth and be quiet OK

chanyeol - ok (with that he show a ok sign with his fingers to Olivia)
