1 Chapter 1: The Beginning
Chapter 1:
Kim Robin is a high school student who aspire to be one who performs in the stage. His ambition were to be an idol. He wanted to shine and enjoy performing and wanted to make a living with it.
One Day, His parents got a concert ticket from a raffle at work to a fairly known 7 member kpop boy group called AidolStar when he was 7 yrs old.
Once attended the concert, he got shocked with what he saw and somehow felt his body burning, burning with excitement.
"This is what I want to be like when I grown up" he continuously say and think.
A decade had passed and he finally got consent from his parents to audition to a well known entertainment company.
He passed the screening competing with thousands of aspiring trainees and got a chance to be a trainee.
He danced his prepared choreo, and sung wholeheartedly with passion.
Due to immense focus with his performance, he wasnt paying any attention to anyone or to his environment not until when he is finishing his part when he saw the judges, the scouts and the other participants laughing.
He was bewildered, confused. He smiled awkwardly and asked.
"Did I do okay?,"
The judges laughs louder.
"Yeah you did well."
"We will be contacting you soon" one of the judges answered.
Robin smiled and felt swelling in his heart. He was really happy being complimented.
"Thank You!" Robin said and leaves the stage.
He is moving in the waiting room with other participants. The happiness he felt still hasnt subsided when a sudden laughter was heard when he opened the waiting room door. He dont know anything about whats going on but was unbothered with his feelings.
Hours have passed and all the participants were all called. The judges announces the passing participants and Robin was called. He got accepted finally. They announced that the auditions were for an upcoming survival show with other known companies. Robin felt happy that he has taken a step through his dream and left with the remaining participants.
Excitingly exiting the audition scene, he entirely forgot his belongings in the waiting room and return inside to get it back.
The waiting room was silent and Robin began to grab his backpack along with his change of clothes when a sudden laughter broke out. The monitor is still showing live footage of the judges conversation.
When he was about to leave, he recognizes his name in the topic and accidentally eavesdrop to the conversation.
"The trainee we got are all impressive HAHAHAHA, especially Yoo Seungkwan, his vocals are terrifying"
"Agree, we got somone who could compete with YsPENT trainee B team main vocal, just train him and fix his vocal placement and he's good to go"
"We also got someone interesting lmao"
"Who?"
"Kim Robin"
"Ahhhh that guy HAHAHAHHA"
Lauhter begun to fill the room.
"I gotta say, the choreo was impressive but dang he dances terribly and that vocals sounded like a broken speaker"
"We just accepted him for screentime right?? Like those terrible edits. We gonna have a Kawajuchi Yurina v2, Seungkwans vocals with Robins terrible vocals"
"That personality of his is good too HAHAHAHA could be easily fooled and we can turn him as Choi Yena or just someone who clowns around" "A comedic participant as we can say"
His heart sunk.
Hearing those words left his body functions confused and begun to panic.
He didnt cry but was just genuinely confused.
He didnt know how to feel.
He then grabbed his phone and recorded his voice so he can check.
His eyes fell, a river of tears begun to fall down when he heard his voice strains, cracks and goes out of tune every second.
His mentality broke and the only string of hope to achieve his idol dream finally broke.
He left the audition venue still crying.
He cried and cried while he arrived at the bus station where he then continues to have sad and depressing thoughts. The bus stops near a bridge so other passenger can go down the bus.
His mind begun rapidly thinking of something, clouded with negative thoughts he began thinking of ending his life.
"Should I end it?"
Gladly, he didnt cause the railing was too high for him and he'll fail and the bridge actually has anti-suicide measures.
He continues to cry and finally got home. He opens the door and see his parents happily holding a cake and the living room decorated with congratulations text on the wall.
The parents then hugged him misunderstanding why he was crying. The parents thought it was tears of joy, and he got accepted.
"Mom, dad, I got accepted" Robin said
His Parents were confused when their son suddenly said it with a smile that felt like his world crumbled down.
"SOOHO, TURN THE MUSIC DOWN" his mom said.
"Honey, tell me what happened??"
"Did you get hurt??" "Did someone hit you cause they didnt got accepted??" "Did they perhaps belittle you because you werent known??" " Why are you crying when you got accepted??" Yeosol continuously asked.
Robin then begun to cry louder.
