"Mommy is this the company i will be auditioning for ?" I asked excitedly. My mom informed me that I was going to audition in a kpop company.

Ever since I was younger I was always fascinated with singing and dancing and acting luckily my parents have always been so supportive of me. My parents valued talent as well as education a lot. every since i was even younger they have enrolled me in every talent class known to man.

Dancing,since i was 3, singing? the year after that. This doesn't mean i was good at it at first, when it came to singing i was reasonably bad i was literally a child same with dancing. along with these i was enrolled in a gymnastics class. i was particularly good at ice skating. while these things might seem too stressful for a child i genuinely enjoyed them. i wasn't the best at school but i enjoyed all my extra curricular activities. Anyway now I'm really good at these things however i do think i could be better. So I'm really excited to train more.sounds weird doesn't it.

"Yes baby this is the company you are auditioning for"

She replied.

We were currently stand in front of an average sized building with big words written on it in Hangul.

We opened the door and we walked inside the building,my mom went up to the receptionist to inquire on where I can audition, the lady looked visibly shocked as it is very uncommon for foreigners to audition to be in k-pop at the time. After some time she directed us to the right room.

"안녕하세요 (hello)" my mom and I say as we both bow and the man sitting on an office chair, he stood up and welcomed us into the office.

"My name is Bang Si Hyuk or bang pd I am a producer and the co-CEO of this entertainment company,i got your email on your online audition i can't wait to see it all in person, lets go to the auditioning room so that we can be joined by one of our producers as well as a choreographer" the man says.

We then leaves office and proceesd to another room where we are joined by a 2 men. They then tells me to stand in front of a wall and tells me to start singing

I decided that to show my vocal strength I am going to sing Into the new world by SNSD(girls generation), love story by Taylor swift and for rap I am going to sing BangBang Bang by Big Bang

(Imagine she is the one singing and it is big hit logo instead of YG and the outfit at the very top is the one that she is wearing)

"Wow Debak" the CEO and the producers say after I finished with my cover

while my mom stood there with a proud smile while clapping for me"Welcome to the company" the ceo says

"thank you so much sir" I reply. I was so happy as this marked my introduction into the k-pop industry

After signing the contract Bang PD nim as he asked me to call him then tells my mom that i will have to move into the dorm as soon as possible. we tell him thank you and head home

on getting home we tell my dad the good new and the next day i move into the dorm
