42 Resurfacing
It took him more than he hoped for to edit and post the videos, the first song which was the guitar was posted on a day and after a week he would post the second one which was actually the piano piece.
He had improved quite a bit in his music production and the quality of the video had indeed upgraded with the use of the camera. His performance had even charmed him for a second, he didn't expect himself to have so much charm with the eyes. It made him happy after realizing his training in acting was helping in this department too.
Something he wanted to incorporate into his image was being true to his feelings, and not hiding so much about his personality, after all, he liked to think that his personality was actually quite likable.
And actually, something that happened quite often in the industry was that people or the stars would hide their inner parts and pretend to be someone they are not, in the short run would make them loved and would build them a following, then when things crumbled and depending on the degree of difference of the so called persona and the real person could be seen, and was realized by the public the backlash could bring even the end of the career of the star.
But those types of people had to be congratulated in a way. Acting in front of many people constantly for a long time can be detrimental to the mental health of a person, and consistently placed in many different situations and keeping the facade and managing to round and turn the tables in their favor was a skill Daeho would like to learn.
Daeho wasn't naive y any means, and he knew he would be placed in really awkward situations, situations that would even hit his image if he wasn't prepared for the situations. A major part of the people doesn't care about the truth they just care about what is shown to them.
For example, stars or famous people generally tend to hide as much of their life as they can, for matters of privacy for the most part, and to protect the people they know or interact with who don't really want part of the limelight. If a star interacted a lot with a person of the opposite sex outside of his so called 'working hours' and got found out with pictures and recordings, even if the situation wasn't even romantic, people would believe they were in a relationship.
It is actually quite mentally taxing, but Daeho knew that he had to at least get these things down, so he wouldn't needlessly get into such a mentally taxing situation.
And in the end knowing how to keep it cool, and mask your emotions in certain situations or just emphasize a certain emotion like shock and everything, fell on the acting department.
Daeho was proud of his progress and comparing it with other videos his eyes, showed for a fact what he wanted to transmit unconsciously. It was indeed the fruit of his progress.
Even his body language when he had closed his eyes, actually was matching the rhythm of the pieces, this Daeho decided to give even more of himself in the acting classes.
Daeho had been called to go to the office of the chairwoman.
And once he opened the door he was actually quite nervous, he was meeting the boss, after all, the person with the bread and butter in her hands. Although the chairman coupled with her assistant Jennifer had a very good relationship with him and he knew that nothing bad would be talked about here since, well he had no life besides training and school which he barely had a negative impact on, besides that little fight.
With such a clear state of mind, him being called to her office was actually something important to his career, meaning he might be going to a show maybe? And thinking about all these things made him more nervous than he thought. Exciting but nervous.
After a little bit of chitchat with the chairwoman, what he had really come for had come.
''So Daeho, I called you here because I have been contemplating about the company, and how we should resurface, obviously it is still early for your debut but your progress in the past weeks had been quite the treat to listen to.''
She spoke these words with a calm smile on her face, staring at Daehos eyes. Although the calm facade in expression but the tone of her voice revealed her emotions. She was proud of his progress and happy about it too.
It was something Daeho didn't like to think about, the way she treated him was actually way above a matter boss to a trainee, it was more in an aunty way? something that he would like to know but he preferred to just stay quiet about, things were good for him and it was enough of a thing for him.
Before he could delve into his thoughts and branch out of the train of thought brought by Kang Ji-Hyun. She continued.
'' Eliz had been speaking very well about your progress in the dancing department and said you could take on the role. We were supposed to wait a little bit for the rest of the trainees to come back and later make the video but in the end, we decided to do it next month. And as the rank number 1, you will be the center, it is your privilege as the top trainee, this in itself is a good opportunity for you, especially so when it will be our face, and represent our return. As the center, I hope you understand that you should maintain a balance, both the performance and the people dancing with you will be depending on you for that. The center is the face and will be the major focus in it, so I expect you to do it well.''
After finishing her words Jihyun stood up and picked a controller clicking on the power button while pointing it to a wall on her right. This move amused the quite already elated Daeho, who until now hadn't spoken a word.
The surprising thing was that the wall actually lit up.
''Your arrival had actually given me an idea, and it will better personate the company. Since we want the return of the company and not the groups, so we decided to go with a half-mask theme to the video, every dancer will be with a mask, I am talking about this with you because this is another factor in your favor as you have been training with a mask and you should manage to deliver what will be asked by the choreographer.''
With that she showed him a white mask with the symbol of Shining Industry, actually, the mask was quite exquisite looking and had words on one side of the mask while the symbol was on the other.
'Inhale the Future

The words written on the side of the mask were actually words that hit, Daeho but he composed himself before getting emotional. After all, he was moving forward.
He was pleased with the design of the mask, it was a mask made to look good and it was quite appealing to look at.
''Okay, with everything in place and clear, the training for the recording will start tomorrow. Hold on to the opportunities and don't let go.''
Ji-Hyun said while slightly glancing at him, and moving to her chair.
Daeho rapidly nodded and answered in an unusually high tone.
''Yes !!'' Daeho was action was the reflection of his excitement. He couldn't wait for what was to come.
Ji-Hyun the chairwoman just smiled, and bid him goodbye.

Later that evening.
In a conference room, the elegant and confident chairwoman was in a circle with 2 other girls.
She was projecting pieces of clothing and the familiar face mask she had previously shown to Daeho.
'' We will be using this plan... But we have to hold on to our trainees once more, they will be moving too. As for the best of the crop, we have now I can say that they won't be leaving.''
She pointed to a woman with brown long curly hair and brown eyes, who was looking with a coy smile on her face.
''Anna you are the very clothing department owner so just do your wonders with the shirts and outfit for the performance.''
The woman called Kanna just stared for a bit and nodded saying while licking her lips.
'' Yes don't worry about it, with me assigning the clothes you will be having customers for them coming in no time. The shop should be online, production however is another thing. But anyway let us sell 20 Shirts and 100 masks.''
Ji-Hyun heard the flexible ideas of Kanna while sometimes she glanced to the other side of the table.
After Anna ended exposing her ideas and solutions to the many problems relating to their speech, Hyun turned to the woman who adorned the same black hair as she did.
''What do you think Ma-Ri?''
Ma-Ri who had been listening attentively until now looked toward the window.
Her hazel eyes cleared to a greenish theme to them.
''Don't mind it after all Roses lose their petals but they bloom again.''
After saying that her expression softened. ''How is he?''
Ji-Hyun smiled knowing what she was talking about.
'' His progress is faster than we thought, and his musical intelligence and creativity is an eye opener, this can be seen by the last video he posted, quite the eye opener indeed. Looks like he has many of your perks Ma-Ri, what I don't understand is why you actually let him go there...''
Mi-Ra looked right in the eye of Ji-Hyun eyes sharpened as he spoke.
''This made him evolve and grow up as a person, obviously is harsh for me to just let him go to a company I don't believe in, but it was his decision...''
She said these words and a hurt expression could be seen on her face. ''Besides, if he wants to survive in this industry he had to get the feeling of how vultures starving for attention look like. And most importantly a legend isn't born with only people lifting him up, but when they come from the dark to the light, now that he had the taste of defeat he is striving for more and better, I believed in his success then and believe now. I just want to give him a path whether or not he goes through, it is up to him...''
'' Let's move on, what are we going to do with the money for the clothes and masks?'' Mira asked trying to change the subject.
Anna mischievously smiled ''It is quite easy really, Sister Aoi has a company in Japan in event planning so we could hook her up for future plans. I'm excited just thinking about the faces of those old men once the plans get in motion.''
In the end, her smile became quite cold and morphing into a displeased expression.'' They think they can come in and destroy my things a 3rd time not even dreaming.''
Ji-Hyun shook her head. ''Don't do it for revenge but to stand above. Our objective is to build a place where our idols can bloom and stand for a long time where we couldn't. The oldies just so are in the middle. We have to thank them, taking out the trash.''
Mira just shook her head at the duo's words, they had been quite willing to retaliate ever since young. But it couldn't be blamed, after just taking a step on the peak of the industry almost ready to become the so called generation hit, they had been targeted eventually placing them on a stressful cycle, which then lead for the group to vanish.
'' The naive group of girls Rosario developing into such aspirations, who would have thought we would be doing this.
