The Truth About The News

As soon as I saw the post I got shocked to death cause it was a post about Seonghwa dating a high school girl. But the thing that shook me the most was that it contained a picture of him back hugging me from last night.

I was so shocked to know that someone followed us last night and I didn't even knew about it.

I was happy about one thing that they blurred my face out. But I was worried about Seonghwa oppa. Being an idol this was something that could ruin his image.

He just confessed to me and even before anything happened this scandal took place. As I was so deep in my thoughts something took my attention and it was the most popular girl in our school a.k.a. Irene.

Everyone took notice of her talking with her friends.

Irene : "You know that post about ATEEZ's Seonghwa dating someone from our school. I know who that girl is."

Seulgi : "Tell us who she is. I really wanna know who that lucky girl is."

Irene : "Ok I will tell you all but promise me you won't tell anyone about this especially the media. Ok?

Everyone nodded and here I was scared of what she's going to say.

Irene : "You know the girl Seonghwa is dating is non other than me. We've been dating for a while now. But don't tell anyone of the teachers find out I'm getting whooped."

I was here taking breath of relaxation that it wasn't me but I knew one thing that she was lying.

I took Dahyun out with me. I took her to then rooftop cause I know it's gonna be quite there.

Y/N : "Dahyun what am I gonna do now? What if his company stops him from dating? Huh! We've not even started dating yet. For the first time I liked someone and then things had to take such a turn."

*NO ONE'S POV*

Dahyun was just thinking about something else. Y/N's forgot about her secret being threatened. She was concerned about Seonghwa that she forgot about herself only.

She didn't even had any thoughts about it. Dahyun questioned herself and then decided not to tell her cause maybe no one found out that it was her.

Seeing her best friend being so happy and concerned over a guy first time in so many years. She didn't wanted to break it so she let it go.

Dahyun : "Y/N calm down. Whatever happens, just call him and ask about what's happening. Ok?"

Y/N seemed like it was a nice idea.

Dahyun : "But call him afterwards, like after school but not at home. From a place where is less crowded. Like the cafe near that alley. Ok. Let's go now to class. We're gonna get late."

Dahyun took Y/N with her to the classroom.

*Y/N POV*

I'm so scared of how oppa will react. Hopefully he's fine right now.

The whole time whole the class was going on I was just thinking about how his company would react.

*TIME SKIP TO LUNCH*

We were currently in cafetaria. Dahyun and I usually sit at one corner in the cafetaria to be away from the utter chaos but today it was so I can message Seonghwa oppa peacefully without anyone knowing other than Dahyun.

*On Message*

Y/N : "Hey Seonghwa oppa! Are you fine?"

After I guess 2 minutes which felt like an eternity oppa replied.

Seonghwa : "Hey Y/N! I'm fine. I think you know about what's happening right now. Don't stress on it. My company has decided to take care of it. We need to be careful next time. Btw are you ok? Did anyone notice that it was you?"

Y/N : "Thankfully no one did. Actually a girl in my class lied to everyone that she was dating you. I was so relieved they didn't guessed it was me."

After I sent it I realised that the last sentence meant that we were saying which currently we weren't yet.

Seonghwa : "I guess I got my answer from last time. Oh that reminds me I'm gonna be a little busy for sometime because we have a shoot coming up. "

Y/N : "Ok I understand. But I need to go now I'm currently in school and it's lunch time and I have to eat my lunch. So bye."

Seonghwa : "Bye cutie."

I didn't know that I was blushing at his comment.

Dahyun : "Must be something nice that you're blushing. I still can't believe my small little girl grew up so fast."

Dahyun then fake cried. I just chuckled at her reaction.

Dahyun : "But what did you guys talk about? Is everything fine?"

Y/N : "He said everything will be controlled by his company and said not worry about anything."

Dahyun : "Hey! How about I'll take you out for karaoke after school?? What say?? It'll help you recharge your mind as well."

I thought for a bit and then replied.

Y/N : "Ok. But as it's your treat you pay."

She nodded and we quickly finished our food and went for class.

*TIME SKIP TO KARAOKE*

We were currently in Myeong-dong and we decided on which karaoke to go too. I don't know why but it feels like someone is either following me or watching.

This feeling has been there after lunch. I feel like the is someone watching whatever I'm doing.

I thought it might be a false feeling cause maybe I'm scared because of what happened so I thought I won't tell Dahyun but I'm not gonna let guards down.

We went inside our personal karaoke room which Dahyun rented for an hour cause I need to be somewhere after that.

We were singing to Twice's Fancy. Dahyun was acting like she was a total vocalist and I was just saying that of course you're doing great even your really bad at it.

After Fancy we switched to ATEEZ's Wonderland and man I was so pumped about it.

I was trying not to put a lot of work on my vocal cords cause I need them to be alive cause the place I have to go seriously requires them.

We were just jamming but suddenly I saw shadow on the gate meaning there is someone standing outside seeing it I whispered to Dahyun about it.

Both me and Dahyun kind of got scared cause it might be the same paparazzi from last time so I'm scared.

But we decided to face who it really was.

I slowly went to open the door while Dahyun was behind me.

As soon as the door opened I was shocked.
