4 •Chapter four-Ready

-Two hours later-

He had known from before, but experiencing it himself was a different matter. Even in his days as a soldier he never trained so hard. The stamina he had couldn't even come close to the monstrosity known as Rock Lee.

Muhon leaned against a tree feeling his lungs on fire. He had long removed his shirt and revealed his chiseled torso.

Lee, of course, was still going. Once he started to train he would lose track of time as his general surroundings became a blur and he entered extreme focus mode. The once smooth ground of the field became rocky as a result of that.

But even then, he also had a limit.

An hour later, the sky beginning to darken, Lee collapsed onto the ground. Tired.

"You still alive?"

Muhon got up and poked the heaving boy.

- Huff.

"Of-"

- Huff.

"Course."

"You did well."

After several minutes Lee was revived and back to his feet. He turned his head with a river of tears in his eye.

"My YOUTHFUL friend! It's sad that we will have to part here. But do not fret, I will come to visit occasionally. And…"

Muhon tuned out the rest of Lee's passionate speech. Basically it was a long way of saying 'goodbye for now.'

With Lee's sensei back in the village he would have to train with his squad and go on missions again. On top of that, he needed to prepare for the Chunin exams in a couple of months. That left almost no room for the two to train ever again, or rather, for Muhon to gain free stat points from Lee.

Anyway, Muhon felt as if the boy tended to be a tad bit… passionate in the way he approached things. Still, he let get out all of his manly tears and bid him goodbye.

"Take care friend!"

"You as well."

As the two parted ways, Muhon turned to look at the sky and observed the sun start to fall in a hue or orange, yellow, and red. He quickly rushed to buy some dango and then sprinted again towards the Hokage mountain.

'There's no way I can miss this view.'

-

Carrying five sticks of dango in his hand, Muhon arrived on the smooth surface of the Hokage rock. Besides the occasional painting from Naruto, the place was well maintained.

'It's breathtaking.'

The view was. The falling sun in the horizon and the busy village below. These were the type of moments he lived for.

It seemed he wasn't the only one with the idea as another shinobi was quietly reading a book on the Fourth Hokage's rock carving.

His silver hair danced to his left side, and a black mask along with his forehead protector covered his face and left eye. The scene looked right out of a painting.

It was a solemn, almost reminiscing atmosphere around the man. The wushes of the calm wind added to the picturesque surroundings.

Muhon took a seat directly above the second Hokage's rock carving. He mowed down on the dango he spent a great deal of Ryo on. He did not regret it.

It's tender yet firm texture melted right into his mouth. He was in the middle of devouring a dango stick until realizing at this moment, it would be better to eat slow and savor the sweet taste.

Muhons short legs dangled off of the Hokage rock watching down on the village. Images of cities he visited on nights on earth overlapped with Konoha.

'It's like night and day.'

Perhaps now it was finally hitting him. The fact that he was in another world.

Surely if he died in this one and reincarnated back on earth telling the stories of his experience here, people would look at him as if he was crazy. He chuckled imagining the situation.

Back then he indulged in the idea that reincarnation or transmigration was possible. Yet, the chances of the likelihood it would happen to him was incredibly small.

'But I'm here.'

And he would make sure he was here to stay.

He gazed at the four faces etched upon the mountain. All of the Hokage were legendary in their own rights.

The first Hokage created the village along with madara Uchiha, a man who was said to rival the first Hokage in power. It was said that there was even a legendary mountain created with the two of them as it's core design. And that mountain was rumored to be where they fought their last battle and Madara Uchiha died.

Muhon had yet to see it.

The second Hokage. A humble yet ferocious man. He was known to be the second fastest of the four Hokage's, but also the smartest. He came up with many A-rank, and S-rank Jutsu with such complexity only few could wield them.

The third Hokage was the current Hokage. He was known by many as "the professor." Like the second, he studied and mastered many Jutsu. But he was also known as "god of shinobi" similar to the first. Even in old age he is rumored to be the stronger shinobi in the entire world.

And finally, the fourth Hokage. The fastest and Muhon's personal favorite. His moniker was "Konoha's yellow flash" because of his immense speed. In fact, the fourth was so feared that he had a "run on site" order attached to his name.

'Ah~ I've finally figured it out.'

Muhons red eyes reflecting the ethereal hue lit a spark within.

The fourth Hokage had many enemies, too many to count. He killed a thousand Iwagakure shunobi single handedly in the battle of Kanabi bridge. From this it could be observed how such a man could have so many enemies.

If Naruto's identity was revealed, it was likely that he would have several targets on his head. So to protect him the village, or rather, whoever was wielding the power to control the village in the shadows, prohibited anyone to talk about the boys identity.

'Hmm… no, that's wrong. The fourth is a hero, if people knew that Naruto was his son then they would treat him better than they do now.'

And that was going off the basis that Naruto was indeed his son.

He thought on the subject for half a second and shook his head. It didn't matter.

Basically, the fourth Hokage was his someone he wanted to be like.

And to do that, he would have to become Hokage. However… that would be too much work.

Muhon could imagine as the ruler of a village the Hokage had much paperwork, meetings, and negotiations he was forced to do. With his lazy personality, Muhon couldn't possibly willingly put himself through that.

There was another position that attracted him.

ANBU squad leader. A position that was beneath the Hokage and ANBU commander. It was similar to the position he held in the army.

'Yeah, that's the one.'

He set his goal. To become an ANBU captain.

The sky had officially fell and it was night. In his thoughts, Muhon failed to register this. He turned his chin to the side and the man who was reading a book was long gone. Without a sound, almost as if he was a ghost.

He picked himself up off the ground and scanned the village a while longer then left.

-

Two and a half weeks passed by like a blizzard. During this period Muhon did nothing but train like a crazed maniac. He grew leaps and bounds in Bukijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Taijutsu.

The amount of stat points he gained was not small either. His body showed changes every day. He was growing in height, and weight because of the muscle he put on.

It was not enough to hinder his movements, but enough for others to see the change occurring in his body.

Iruka chalked it up to puberty, but even then, it surprised him. It was safe to say Muhon had received more gazes thrown his way in these seventeen days.

Reaching Chunin had only felt like a matter of time to Muhon. He thought grinding for weeks would be more than enough.

He was wrong.

[Name: Muhon Hannya]

[Age: 12(+24)]

[Overall LVL: Elite Genin]

[Stats: STR(4760), END(4760), AGI(4760), VIT(4760), PER(4790)]

The gap between Genin and Chunin was to be expected. But for it to be to this extent? Muhon questioned the difference in strength between a genin and Chunin.

If it was so vast, how long would it take for him to reach Jonin once he became a Chunin?

'No rush, no rush.'

It was the morning of the day for graduation. Muhon slipped on a black Jumpsuit and a dark shirt underneath his jacket.

After he jumped into his ninja shoes, he grabbed his pouch of Kunai and shuriken and strapped it to his hip. Finally, he grabbed the Katana hanging out on the bed and strolled out the door with unparalleled confidence.

Today, he would graduate.
