30 Spatial Pocket

[You purchased Concept Book: Spatial Pocket]

[You converted 200 IDLE Points to 20000 Credits]

'As I thought... Nothing's impossible when it comes to Concept. As long as one could think of it, an Energy Refiner could be enlightened with it... And this Spatial Pocket... it's like an inventory from games. But I have to sort things inside like those games that were trying to be realistic in their inventory. Moreover, its space is only 1 cubic meter... Fortunately, it can expand along with his progression as an Energy Refiner.'

Aldrin contemplated after being enlightened with the Spatial Pocket Concept.

He was actually thinking of picking a Concept Book that could give him a fighting edge much like Renissa's Icy Breeze. However, as soon as his eyes spotted the Spatial Pocket, he stopped scrolling down the long list of Concept Books and spontaneously bought it.

It cost him 200 IDLE Points, a little costly than a simple Concept Book like Tiny Water Ball, Diluted Fire Spark and the likes. However, compared to the Shadow Clone that actually cost 1000 IDLE Points, it's on the cheap side.

'I still have no idea about the power ranks of an Energy Refiner. But comparing myself to that man... I am too inferior, to say the least.'

After finishing his shower. Aldrin returned and sat on the side of their futon, making sure not to wake up his sister who already went back to sleep.

It's already past midnight but Aldrin still wanted to try something.

He reached for the metallic suitcase containing his bought equipment.

Following that, Aldrin thought back to the first time he activated his Shadow Clone.

Focusing on the Concept and visualizing it, his Energy Quintessence soon worked its wonder as his refined energy began to be channeled to his fingertips.

'Spatial Pocket.' Aldrin stretched his arm forward.

And with the faint refined energy glowing on his fingertips, Aldrin saw how the space in front of him gradually cracked open.

Although it didn't look like he opened another world or dimension, he saw a neat space beyond the crack.

Aldrin stretched his empty hand inside it and tried to feel its interior.

'It's solid and smooth... There's no existing air though. It's a vacuum when it's closed.' Aldrin concluded.

Considering it's a Concept for storing one's possessions, Aldrin stopped investigating its interior and put the suitcase inside.

As soon as it settled inside, Aldrin flicked his fingers, closing the Spatial Pocket.

After that, he waited for two minutes before channeling refined energy to his fingertips once more.

And this time, instead of stretching his arm to his front, he stretched it to the side.

As the Spatial Pocket gradually opened before his eyes, Aldrin's lips slowly curved into a satisfied smile.

Inside it, the metallic suitcase he placed was still silently lying inside, without any complications.

'It's working as intended. Then I don't need to worry about bringing it with me in a way that it would invite gazes from people just like how Renissa arrived earlier.' Aldrin nodded continuously.

In the following minutes, he continued opening and closing the Spatial Pocket many times until his refined Dimensional Energy got depleted.

With his eyes about to shut down due to extreme sleepiness, Aldrin finally realized that it was a bad idea to deplete his refined Energy. The fatigue it caused him was more than the fact that he hadn't gotten a wink of sleep for a day.

While he struggled to keep his eyes open, Aldrin hurriedly started the 1st run of the day for Idle Adventure Mode, exchanged 10,000 more Federation Credits from the IDLE Points he received from the Small Merchants and bought 11 more Small Merchants for 21,450 Federation Credits, unlocking the second bonus of x1.5 Income.

Before his consciousness waned, Aldrin settled himself to his previous position at the futon, squeezing himself next to his sister who immediately pushed him away using her feet.

At the Lonewind City Branch of the Frostland Corporation, Renissa arrived early to meet the Branch Head in her office.

Two pink-colored wheeled luggage bags were standing behind her. In it were her possessions she would bring with her in her move towards a Primary City called Sunspeak to attend a Refiner's Academy located there.

"Great job yesterday, Renissa. You fought against a Rift Monster that was above your current level and killed two of them without the aid of a Metadome. Your one-month training paid off. Those old men at the Corporation's central branch for this planet were looking forward to your future as a strong Energy Refiner." The branch head who looked like a woman in her thirties applauded her. Although she's not like Renissa that had her hair turned to blue due to her inexperience as an Energy Refiner, she's emitting a more chilling aura that could possibly freeze someone if she directed her gaze at them.

The way she applauded Renissa wasn't a mocking one but a courtesy she was instructed to do by those old men she mentioned. As could be seen with her forced smile that she often did.

However, as an answer to that applause, Renissa immediately shook her head to deny the achievement placed on her head. "As I stated in my report, it's not my feat alone. A new awakened helped me deal with the second one."

"I know. I read your report. You're going to meet this... newly-awakened Energy Refiner, am I right?"

"Yes... How did you...?"

"You're so easy to read, Renissa. I trained you for a month, if I'm still unfamiliar with your habits and personality then I will deem myself a failure as an instructor." The branch head smiled meaningfully. "I will be visiting the Refiner's Association later, if he's truly up to standard, who knows? I might recruit him and send him to the same place as you."

"That..."

Renissa was left tongue-tied. Before she knew it, this branch head reached the conclusion that something is going on between Aldrin and her.

'Is expressing gratitude already equal to being linked with someone?'

In the end, knowing that the branch head would just brush away any refute she would utter, Renissa dropped it and sighed instead.

As she thought about it, it's truly not bad if Aldrin also received the same training and got sent to the same place. That way, she can have someone she's familiar with at an unfamiliar place like the Refiner's Academy.

"Alright... You can go now, remember to appear at the Intercity Station before the appointed time of your departure..." The branch head was about to let Renissa go and send her away when she suddenly remembered something. "Ah, by the way... This is for you."

From her hand, a black thin book flew towards Renissa.

"Concept Book?" Renissa was surprised upon understanding what it was. On the cover of the book, the title of the Concept was elegantly written in silver font.

'Spatial Pocket'

"It should be given to you after graduation at the Academy. But in light of your achievement and how they got a favorable prospect for your future, I'm allowed to bestow it to you in advance." The branch head explained before pointing to the luggage behind her. "Become enlightened with it soon, alright? But honestly, it's hurting my eyes to see you dragging those two. We Energy Refiners should always be prepared to respond to any situation."

Upon hearing that, Renissa wryly smiled. She couldn't help it. Even if she already left more than half of her possessions at home, it still needed two large luggage bags to fit them all.

After thanking the branch head, Renissa turned around to leave, excited with the new Concept Book she received.

She was aware of the Concept Book and how much it was if she had to buy it using her own pockets. 200,000 Federation Credits.
