For the second run, it was totally considered not bad when the IDLE Points he gained was 10 times more than the first run.

It should be 75 Points but to continue gaining more, Aldrin used one of the power-ups that doubled the Dimensional Clone's damage costing him 20 points and healed the Dimensional Clone once because of fatal damage it received costing him 5 points.

Even though the Dimensional Clone began to carefully attack the Worker Ants after observing them, accidents could always happen. Furthermore, just like what the program stated before, the Dimensional Clone possessed the same strength as him and consequently, that also included his stamina.

After constantly moving and killing those Worker Ants, the Dimensional Clone's stamina slowly drained resulting in that fatal damage it received.

Although that healing option could treat the Dimensional Clone's wound, no matter how fatal it was, it couldn't regenerate its stamina.

That's why after killing a few more Worker Ants and receiving another serious injury, the Dimensional Clone retreated again and waited for another heal.

But upon reaching that point, Aldrin already chose to Leave the Dimension and harvest the Dimensional Clone's gains.

That double damage was actually a buff and the cost to upgrade it was multiplying. The first cost was 20 and if he wanted to double its damage again, it would be ten times the initial cost, Furthermore, it resets at every run! Although it's a way for the Dimensional Clone to be more efficient at gathering IDLE Points, it's also a way to burn the IDLE Points it gained.

Because of the boredom he somewhat accumulated by only watching his Dimensional Clone move about on his monitor, he already scrutinized everything that could be seen on the game's interface. And by doing that, Aldrin was now aware of the penalty if the Dimensional Clone died instead of pulling it out of the game before breathing its last.

[In the case that the Dimensional Clone died, there will be a cooldown of three hours before the Idle Adventure Mode can run again. Furthermore, the unused IDLE Points will be halved before being converted to Dimensional Energy.]

That's a huge waste if that happened especially if the Dimensional Clone began amassing more IDLE Points. However, that also meant Aldrin had to keep his eyes open to be able to react in case the Dimensional Clone got close to dying.

'Wait. What in Cosmic Hells?! Is this still an idle game if I have to watch out for my Dimensional Clone's well-being?' Aldrin cursed before he began contemplating again.

In the first place, the idle games he knew also have active features that forced the players to actively play it. But in this case, it was giving him a choice. No, choices. Apart from giving him the choice of controlling his Dimensional Clone or not, there was also the choice of watching over its progress to get the maximum gain or letting it on its own devices until it dies to get half the gain.

It's up to him what choice he would make.

'If only there's a feature where I could set it up to automatically run…'

Upon reaching that line of thought, Aldrin instantly shook his head.

The game needed that clump of his hair to be sent inside. Unless it was possible to make it work when he's away from his computer then what he's thinking about would be next to impossible.

Aldrin sighed before clearing his head once more. 'There are still those four tabs that were locked. I shouldn't jump the gun and patiently wait until it opens. There's no point for me to overthink things like this and I had to make do with what's presented in front of me.

Fortunately, Aldrin already developed the habit of stopping his thoughts on thinking about possibilities that may or may not happen yet. Failing all those exams and not landing on a suitable job that could make him the least bit useful for his family that raised him already tempered his mind.

It could be said that he's truly slacking off in his room day by day. However, in Aldrin's mind, it's not like he's wasting it all on pointless things. He's waiting for an opportunity to change his life.

Like being called from those companies he applied to or someone to buy one of his game accounts that should already have a value on the market.

To his luck, he got a more unbelievable opportunity presented to him this time. The opportunity to become an Energy Refiner by only playing that game!

With his thoughts cleared, Aldrin now had a wide grin blossoming on his face. While still staring at the game's interface that was about to close, he readied himself by comfortably sitting on his chair to receive the 50 IDLE Points that were about to be converted to Dimensional Energy.

Although he wasn't sure if that was enough to awaken himself to becoming an Energy Refiner, he was still looking forward to it.

He truly hit the jackpot this time. With only his time and patience as his capital, he's now receiving the benefits only those rich people could afford. Moreover, it wasn't accompanied by any pain at all!

If anything, it was like he was at a massage parlor, getting a massage from the best masseuse on the planet!

Furthermore, thinking about the three chances left to run the Idle Adventure Mode of the IDLE Database, Aldrin was looking forward to his gains for today.

Thinking about tomorrow hadn't passed his mind yet but considering all of this happened only a few hours earlier, he's still living the dream.

"Still. Nothing changed." Aldrin was in front of the mirror again, staring at his body that was enhanced by the Dimensional Energy equivalent to 55 IDLE Points.

He could certainly feel that his previously sluggish body was now beaming as if he ate the most nutritious food in the universe.

If he could only perform five push-ups before becoming the host of the IDLE Database, he could now do five times more than that!

With a swift change in his perspective, Aldrin began exercising his body before going back to his computer to use up the remaining three chances.

In his mind, Aldrin was preparing himself to become a full-fledged Energy Refiner!

He was originally industrious like this. He even diligently worked honestly at that convenience store in the hopes of becoming a manager. Alas, despite his performance, the corporation that owned that convenience store picked someone with higher education to take up the post. Hence, he left after working diligently for two years.

As soon as he finished with his set of exercises, Aldrin went back in front of his computer and once again opened the software that was mysteriously installed in it.

"Now then… I can only hope that my Dimensional Clone will be able to acquire more IDLE Points than before!"
