Yuki Onna

Everyone flickered out and each went to sit on the highest trees and buildings to observe the current situation.

RAAWWRRR!!!

Most of the shinobi have sweat dropping down their cheeks seeing the destruction causes by Sanbi just by using its body.

Some Shinobis are seen trying to fend him off using various Ninjutsu. Some throw Kunai and shuriken but it simply bounced off it's hard scale.

"Everyone, move!".

Mei, Zabuza, Shou and Haku went ahead and directly flickers to 3 tails while the others rushed to guide and save people who are injured or buried under collapsed buildings.

'Missing nin!?'.

An ANBU who are also there to save his own village is warry seeing a few of them, even taking out his Kunai. His teammate slapped his back quickly.

"This village is also their home. They are not an enemy".

He thought about it and that makes sense. Anyways, just what happened that 3 tails are released like this?

Shou and others observed the current ninjas fighting it. It's shells are too hard and can reflect weapons too easily. While Ninjutsu seems like it can hurt it but it only makes it more enraged. Sanbi suddenly stopped moving and did a charging up movement!

'Is it going to use bijuudama!?', Shou panicked, but the turtle does not seem to be charging up a bomb visually, and instead it unleashed a devastating wave of tsunami from its mouth!

"We need to stop it!". Mei Terumi weaved some hand seals; Shou and Haku followed after her.

Earth Release: Earth Wall!

Ice Release: Great Frost Breath!

Wall of earth come out of the ground, blocking some of the wave; while the frost breath breathed out by the siblings freezes the water into ice the moment it touches - creating a wall of ice and slowing down the wave.

Although its momentum is reduced but the effect is still devastating as it runs down buildings and people as it flows like a tide. Thankfully the force is reduced by their effort.

Zabuza felt a little useless since he does not have a jutsu to block the tide. He decides to directly flicker to Sanbi, holding his Executioner Blade and slash it towards the beast!

Clang! It simply bounced off its hard shells.

Damn it! Zabuza jumped down standing on the water, thinking of countermeasure. The shell is simply too hard for physical weapon to injure it. He decides to use Ninjutsu, Water Release: Water Dragon Technique!

Mei also rushed forward and unleash her Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique; spewing a corrosive white-yellowish sticky fluid directly onto its head!

RAAWWRRR!

Sizzling sound can be heard as the acidic nature of the technique even corrode its shell and reaches its flesh. It's really effective! Shou observed the way the beast thrashed around. 

Boom! Sanbi release a pure chakra wave from its body to remove the acidic gunk from its head, causing the water surrounding to unleash another tide.

An ANBU flickered to Mei sides, telling her the Sealing Squad is in position and they needed to weaken Sanbi before they could seal it. He also tells her Yagura is dead; naturally; and can only temporarily seal Sanbi with their own sealing technique. 

She nods. Haku and Shou also heard his words.

"Haku, lets use that". Shou had a little smile, excited to see it in action. He felt thrilled. His heart race fast seeing the raging bijuu and wanted to fight it head on.

Haku thought for a moment. It's just a little bit... eye-catching. But it is suitable...

'Alright. Let's do it'. Haku looked at Shou and noticed that little smile hidden behind the mask.

It's been a while he seen him like this. When he manage to use new jutsu in training he always had that smile; but this time it seems worse. Why Shou seems excited to face such a crazy beast. Haku felt his heart palpitating in worry but Shou seems the opposite.

They both jumped forward and stood on the water side by side. Weaving hand seals, their chakra combined and explodes causing chill to spread to the air. The water they are standing on began to visibly froze. With the last hand seal, the technique is unleashed!

Ice Release: Cold Mother Yuki Onna!

The water flooding the area gathers and forms a huge humanoid figure slightly taller than Sanbi with the siblings remained on top of the forming water. Mei and Zabuza had to shift their focus on the siblings seeing what they are doing. Zabuza had questions marks all over his face because he never seen they use such a crazy technique.

The large water humanoid starts to turn into a mixture of Ice and Water, and turned into an gigantic Ice Woman with long hair wearing a long robe. The surrounding water turns frozen each time it moves forward, the air freezes at it's presence, and drizzling snow start to fall around it giving the aura of majesty! As if Goddess of Snow had descended!

"LETS FUCKING GO!!!". Shou screamed out in crazed frenzy, even scaring Haku a little as Shou completely takes control of the Yuki Onna. It felt like he has now become a top powerhouse of the shinobi world, capable of fighting a bijuu head one! It's he's Ultraman fighting Godzilla!

Sanbi is threatened and unleash high pressured water from it's mouth directly to destroy it, but with Shou's maneuver the Yuki Onna slides to the side dodging it completely.

Ice Armament: Uchidenokozuchi!

The statue reached out her hand; as water below rises up and forms a long handle, and then a large ice hammer head.

With both of its hand, it swung the hammer directly to Sanbi's head! 

Boom! The hammer cracked a little while sending it backward from its force!

"Strong...!". Mei is shocked. While the other shinobi stood in awe seeing two giants battling each other. She even got reminded of the tales on God of Shinobi; Hashirama Senju who can summon wooden statue that can rival the bijuus.

Sanbi retaliated and use its tails to beat the statue; each of it attacks cracks the statue little by little while causing the whole ground to shake. But the statue keeps regenerating itself and beat the Sanbi swinging the hammer again and again.

As the fight goes on, the surrounding area becomes colder and colder and it visibly slowed down Sanbi's movement as well. 

"I see. It is a cold blooded animal after all...". Haku observed the situation while supplying his chakra to keep the statue going. If this keeps up, Sanbi can completely be neutralized.

Sanbi screamed out in frustration and suddenly corals starts to grow on the ice statue!

'This...'. The corals sucked on the chakra inside the statue and therefore their own chakra is being consumed. It also slowed down the movement of the statue.

'Heh. As if!'. Shou turned the surface of the statue to water state causing the corals to slide off its body, completely removing them. He moved forward and slam the turtle with hammer again.

Sanbi is frustrated, and once again unleashed a chakra wave while jumping backward to create a distance. The statue only bulged a little from the shockwave.

It opened its mouth and visibly its collecting positive and negative chakra. It's charging up a bijuudama!

Haku felt his heart stop feeling the tremendous power contained. Most of the shinobi stood in horror feeling the power that can turn things to dust. But Shou instead move forward to stop it head on!

Charging up in front of me!? Shou ridiculed the turtle in his heart.

Yuki Onna send its hammer in an upward movement, directly smashing the turtle's jaw sending the whole turtle's body up!

BOOM! The bijuudama exploded in its mouth as its jaw was shut up by the strike! The shockwave is so strong the ice statue lose its balance and fell down. One of its arm is broken completely as well.

Haku and Shou jumped down the statue safely. They already consumed 2/3 of their chakra and can't keep the technique going anymore. But Sanbi is weakened enough!

The statue slowly melts into water while the rest of the shinobi unleashed more of their ninjutsu to keep it drained; Mei used her Lava Release to bind it's movement with its sticky fluid. The Sealing Squad is ready and start to form the sealing formation. Sealing symbols is formed on the surface of water right beneath Sanbi connected to 12 ninjas surrounding it and covering Sanbi's whole body.

Shou is thinking of joining the battle again but felt a presence suddenly appearing right behind Haku.

He quickly turned his eye to look, only to see a figure with mask on is reaching out his hand to him!

These two are troublesome. I will take them out first. The masked figure thought after observing the battle between the two colossus.

Shou quickly send a kunai to him in panic. The masked figure is surprised at the reaction and hurriedly back off away from Haku.

Fuck. It's Obito!?

Shou gulped his saliva seeing the spiral mask and the sharingan. He tried to calm himself down. I-It's fine. They can do this. He know Obito's weakness. And they still have enough chakra to use their demonic ice mirror... its fine. He consoled himself but in truth he's worried.

"Ho. You react really fast. Ice Release of the Yuki clan huh. Never thought it can compete with a bijuu".

"Who are you!?". Haku shouted, preparing his needles in his hands.

Silence prevailed for few seconds, building up the atmosphere for the villain reveal.

"I am the one who released Sanbi... For years, I have..." Obito began to speak in Madara's voice.

Shou don't want to hear his nonsense and directly throw a kunai to him. 

"So impatient". The kunai simply passed by him. He looked at Shou in disdain.

"None of your attacks can work on me, perhaps if-". Obito continues his yapping but-

"Haku, demonic shard!".

Shou let Haku knows of his plans and weaved hand seals together; Obito is annoyed that his speech got disturbed and just watch as they complete their seals.

Ice Release: Demonic Mirroring Shards!

They stepped onto the water surface, freezing it and in a second shards of ice forms and bloomed from the water surface rushing to pierce Obito like multiple blades!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Shards of reflective Ice Crystals filled the radius around Obito. The cold mist blocked their view for few seconds. Shou hopes his plan worked...

"Useless. Like I said, none of your attacks can work on me". As the mist cleared, Obito calmly stands there, as if unharmed.

'How can this be!?'. Haku is shocked and felt fear for the unknown. How can the opponent remains fine? He clenched the needles in his hands.

Shou wasted no time and directly rushed forward with kunai in hand. Haku went panic because his little brother had never been this reckless! As Shou rush forward, Obito sneered in disdain.

Obito also rushed to him, reaching out his hand. As long as he touches him, he can kamui him into his dimension and win.

As Shou slash his kunai, it passes by Obito's head like its air! Just as his entire hand passes by Obito, his hand touched Shou.

"It's over". His kamui is activating and is about to absorb Shou. But he felt chill on the hand touching Shou's body, its also too hard... What is...? 

Shou seize the moment and rushed out of the mirror above Obito! He had hide himself in the mirror waiting for this opportunity and used ice clone he made to trick him into materializing.

He pushed his right hand containing concentrated ice power to completely annihilate him;

Ice Release: Spiralling Blizzard!

BOOM!

NANI!? Obito didn't expect the attack and received Rasenfubuki right on his back.

Minato!? He even had a flashback that he received the same kind of attack in that split second.

The Rasenbuki plunge him down into the water and explodes in a 3 meter radius engulfing the opponent in white-blue sphere. Inside it Obito's body is crushed by the sheer force of chakra while each of his body cells are frozen and broken down inside. The water surrounding him completely turned into ice in a ten meter radius.

Shou flickered away and watched as as the Rasenfubuki subside. He let out a misty breath as he felt chill all over his body. It's not that bad since he didn't hold the technique for long.

That should completely kill him. But...

Shou remained vigilant and concentrated on sensing chakra around him. His chakra is already too low. He can at least move between the mirrors few times. While Haku should still have a little more than him.

Izanagi.

Obito is fuming with rage having to use his trump card. To think he was defeated! Just... how!?

It's as if that person had known about his weakness. It's impossible! He felt confused and mad. Also, how did he appear behind me? Is it spatial jutsu? He is warry of them after technically being killed once.

Just how did that technique work? He thought about the Ice Shards and concluded they can move between them. As for why his sharingan cannot sees him hiding inside, its because the ice mirror is made of chakra and him hiding in it completely blends his chakra color with the mirror!

He glared at Shou, and then at Haku from a distance. The taller one seems to be more passive and less threatening - also it seems like Shou knows everything about him, while Haku doesn't know anything much. He used kamui and appears right behind Haku again; he can't defeat both of them who have spatial ability - at least he needs to take one down with him! They are too dangerous of a threat for his plans!

Shou opened his eyes sensing his presence and used the Ice Mirror right next to Haku to move to him. Why he loves to target him?!

Haku use his speed and get into the nearby mirror, completely dodging Obito's hand. Obito use his sharingan and look at the mirror shards surrounding him moving his eyeballs fast.

Haku rushed out of the mirror behind him and send a kunai to his neck at light speed, but Obito let that attack passes like air. 

Again?! Haku quickly analyze the opponent's ability to phase through objects and even ninjutsu. But he figured the important point after observing Shou landing a hit on him before - he cannot phase through things while attacking!

But it's useless to figure out as Obito manage to hold onto Haku's arm.

Shou also rushed out of the mirror right beneath Obito sending a kunai to his face. Obito dematerialize in an instant, causing Haku's arm to phase through Obito's hand while avoiding Shou's attack.

Shit. 

Obito glared in annoyance. Now that he knows he can appear from the ice shards, he had predicted the attack just know. Fool!

Just as the attack passes through him completely, he materialize and grabbed both Haku and Shou at the same time. He send them all to Kamui dimension wasting no time!

Damn it. I underestimated his reaction speed...

He thought once Obito hold onto Haku, which he need to materialize to do so, he can attack him then. He didn't expect Obito to still dodge him. It seems Obito figured out his jutsu and predicted his attack.

Obito remained in the real dimension, warry of confronting them head on. He felt, fear. Their speed is too fast; and he assumed it's spatial ability to move between mirrors in an instant. It's his nemesis! And there's two of them! He can't hit one of them without another one hitting him. It's like facing 2 Minato!

He gritted his teeth in anger. But he keeps his calm afterward. They can never get out of his kamui dimension. Also, its to risky to confront them now as he had lost his trump card. Although they are both low on chakra, they both can use each's others ice mirrors.

He made a decision to prepare first. He took a scroll out from his pocket.

'Release'. 

Poof! A jar filled with thick liquid contains a pair of 3-tomoe sharingan. He took off his mask and plucked out his left eye and inserted the new sharingan like its USB.

He need some time to properly attach it to his eye socket, even with help of hashirama cells.

While in the kamui dimension, Shou is in a little panic. He just didn't know if their ice mirrors can move them out of this dimension. Although he developed the technique for true spatial travel for this kind of occasion but he can't guarantee it.

"Where is this place...". Haku observed the surrounding afraid of the opponent coming at them again.

Shou sensed Obito is not here, and he concludes he's warry of them. 

'We are in a separate dimension. Well... before he comes back lets escape quickly. You have enough chakra right?'. Shou took a deep breath and need to make a quick decision.

Haku nods. He weaved hand seals and make a single Demonic Ice Mirror.

Please works...

Shou is not sure the limits of Kamui dimension and prays they can get out. Shou also weaved a hand seal to help Haku carve out a 'tunnel' to the mirror outside in the real dimension. He spends all of his remaining chakra to carve the wormhole.

They both felt the connection and pierce through the dimension wall with last push of their chakra; the middle of the mirror turns whitish and shows cracks. It slowly opens up! It actually works!

As the white spatial cracks opens large enough, they had completed the spatial gate between two dimension.

"I am out of chakra as well... let's get out quickly". Haku said.

Shou nods. It can be said to be luck that Haku didn't waste much chakra fighting Obito otherwise they had to meditate a little and Obito might come back in that time.

They both went into the mirror and come out to the mirror on the real dimension without Obito realizing it.

After Obito fitted a new sharingan into his left socket and connect it properly, he felt ready to confront them. They are both low on chakra and therefore in battle of attrition he can win, he thought.

He enters the kamui dimension to finish them off but he's shocked. He searched every nook and cranny and can't find any trace of them.

How!? This space is his world! How can anyone escape his world! How can this be!?

"Haku, lets hide first. That man might come back to find us. And it seems they are now sealing Sanbi it should be fine without us now".

Shou observed the situation seeing they are already sealing Sanbi while they are busy fighting with Obito. 3 tails is pretty much solved, Kirigakure is saved for now.

Haku and Shou hide their presence and stay within the shadows warry of Obito who can appear out of nowhere.

Obito really did search for them but can't find them anymore. He felt frustrated; to think he underestimated them not just once, but twice! He shifted his gaze to Sanbi that had already been sealed with sealing papers and symbols all around it; buried under solidified mud.

He took a deep breath. No matter. Those two are just small fries. The plan is proceeding to the main phase and they would begin to capture the bijuu. He need to gather with everyone else in the Akatsuki first. As for those two, he needs to warn about them when they wants to capture 3 tails later. They would be troublesome. 

'We will meet again...'. He said in his heart with killing intent as he kamui himself and disappear.

Shou and Haku went out after tens of minutes passed. Sanbi is sealed into some mud like structure temporarily while the shinobis are going around rescuing the injured.

They both sees Zabuza flickering around, seemingly searching for something.

They both went to see him. Zabuza turned feeling their presence and seemingly stunned for a second.

"Where were you two? What happened? Who were you guys fighting?". As soon as the ice statue fell, Zabuza noticed the siblings does not continue. He thought they were out of chakra, but he noticed the chill in their direction after some time. Are they battling someone?

He rushed out to see who the enemy is and help them in battle. But just as he reached the place, he sees shards of Ice Mirrors littered the field but neither of them are there. Who were they fighting, and where are they now? Zabuza felt worried and searched for them here and there.

Thankfully they are both safe... he can only look at them, feeling glad.

'Zabuza-san, its...'. Haku described their opponent and his dangerous abilities. Mei soon sees them and also went to listen.

"According to Ao, that should be the one who released three tails from Yagura...". Sharingan, mask, appearing out of nowhere, it fits the description.

"He called himself the real Mizukage. He said he had controlled Yagura for years...". Mei also shares the info she got.

Yagura is dead after Sanbi is extracted out of him. And now the beast is temporarily sealed in a mud like structure with sealing talismans all over it. They would transfer it to a proper sealing vessel later. But for now, Kirigakure needs a new leader.

The council of Kirigakure, lead by the previous Kage Advisor discussed on suitable candidate in the few next days.

"During the battle, Mei Terumi show her ability as a leader and mastery over her Kekkei Genkai. Boil Release, Lava Release, 4 Nature Transformation... She also rallied many supporters proving her ability to unite people which we really needs right now. She is loyal to Kirigakure and has a spirit to improve the village and the nation". One of the elder of the council spoke up.

"As for Zabuza, he is a member of the 7 Swordsman, and his ability is also one of the top. He also has a high spirit and do what he think best for the village- even leading his men to rebel against Yagura. However... he is too extreme. And Mei is stronger than him with her kekkei genkai". Another elder considered him and make comments.

They also discuss about the enemy who caused all this, send someone to Konoha to ask for explanation, and had to decide what to do with the Sanbi.

'The Yuki clan siblings have powerful abilities; but their loyalty is questionable. They were not academy graduates and was raised by Zabuza himself...'. 

They make reports and suggestions for the future of Kirigakure.

In few weeks, Mei Terumi is elected as the 5th Mizukage taking on the mantle of her dream. Although Zabuza only knows her for some time, but he can see her view align with his. It's just that they clashed a little when it comes to who should control the nation. Mei is still conservative about the power status between a Kirigakure and the Daimyo - in which they are supposed to be equal.

"I know the Daimyo had crossed the line many times. He turned a blind to many problems in the surrounding villages. I will teach him a lesson for sure". Mei squinted her eyes in dissatisfaction; she planned to threaten that old man. Zabuza is satisfied that Mei is 10x better than Yagura when it comes to her vision and decisions.

The siblings went to help with the rebuilding of the village with chores D-rank mission.

Mei explained its because they did not graduate from the academy and had to start from zero. Also they have no merit in their name as Kirigakure shinobi so they cannot take higher ranked missions for the village. So they are forced to do chores for awhile. Its really just an excuse because they appear out of nowhere; not even a Kiri ninja, and even if you mean well it takes time to completely trust their abilities - and most missions requires different skills like espionage, stealth, teamwork, strategic thinking ect.; so even if they have enough power to face a bijuu head on their skill as a Shinobi as a whole still needs confirmation.

Shou think of the missions as something like a break. He had been doing serious missions that involves blood spilling here and there. Not to mention fighting Obito out of people. He still felt warry that Obito might would pop out of nowhere from behind him or Haku and felt its difficult to sleep at night.

What if he just pop out of nowhere while he's sleeping and tried to assassinate him? Obito won't do that right?

He shook that thought away. Maybe Obito had gone from this country, he hopes.

Many of the village infrastructure is damaged, the hospital is filled up with injured people. Many villagers are displaced due to their home destroyed by the flood and Sanbi rampage. Haku went to help with the injured as he is expert in medical-ninjutsu.

Zabuza's dream come true; well, at least its a start with Yagura dead, and Mei being the 5th Mizukage. Zabuza is pardoned and reinstated as the 7 Swordsman of the Mist due to his contribution - also because Mei, the Mizukage, is his ally. So the council has no say in it.

Kirigakure should move in the better direction from now on.

Whew...

Reflecting on the previous battles, he realized he is not strong enough. Especially with Obito, the main villain of the entire Naruto world now seeing them as threats and is a hanging guillotine above his head that may come down at anytime. And the Akatsuki will try to take the 3 tails from Kirigakure someday so he needs to defend the village too.

Defend the village?

He wasn't born in the village and he does not owe Kiri anything. In fact Kiri owned them instead. But well... he guess, he can settle here.

Wait, Obito won't tattle about them to the Akatsuki right? He felt chill running down his back. That's too scary.

Sigh... Why Obito did had to come right at them?

Shou can't feel glad even if he managed to technically defeat him once. He needs, more power... Shou firmed resolve. Now that their present goals is achieved, he had a new goal.

Hmm... Maybe they should seek out for Yuki Clan heritage first. Maybe he can figure out something new. Let's see the library or ask Mei Terumi later, she should have access to more information than everyone. It's just a little difficult to meet her...
