Revenge

When the car stopped and his blindfolds removed, he was accompanied by the remaining 4.

It looked like some hotel in an isolated area. A beautiful, isolated hotel. But he didn't notice all these. For him, it could be his death ground.

He was pushed out of the car and though he wasn't restrained from moving in any way after getting out, no one told him to be careful.

Okay, wait. It wasn't a hotel but a mansion. But God, it looked like it could house the citizens of a state.

Once he got to the door, he was left on his own. He scrutinized the area before he got in. Though it appeared harmless, he couldn't be flippant. He didn't know the dangers awaiting him inside.

He stepped cautiously into the room. It looked like it could contain at least 15 cars, but it wasn't even the main sitting room.

He opened the next door and stepped into it. There was someone standing near the French windows. He looked ahead and saw the view which displayed the view of almost just black and blue roses.

He dragged his gaze back to the figure still gazing out the window. His gaze lingered on her legs; long, straight, smooth. No need to talk about it. A person with good legs must also have a good derriere. Then his gaze went to her back. Her lower back seemed so deep, making her derriere swell all the more. Then her shoulders. It reminded him of Broadway.

"Why does it feel like you can see my lingerie?"

He flushed, then looked away in sheer embarrassment. What woman in her right mind would say that? And it reminded him of Sweet But Psycho.

Or maybe he was the psycho. How could he be thinking about things like these in such a precarious situation?

Then he saw the woman that would say that and he couldn't believe it.

She looked like an alien specie landed on Earth. Her beauty was unbeatable. And again he was reminded of V Unbeatable.

But, why did it seem like the colour of her face was different from the roots of her hair? The latter seemed fairer. She probably had mask on.

'You're crazy.' He told himself.

She walked to the home bar, brought a bottle of wine and 2 glasses which she kept on the table when she got there.

She filled both, pushed 1 to his side, took hers and made herself comfortable on the chair.

She motioned with her hand for him to sit when he kept on standing. "You might like to sit to hear what I have to say."

He hesitated a bit, then sat and looked at her, silently motioning she should start talking. If she was going to be so hospitable, then what was the need of kidnapping him in the first place?

It looked like she had all the time in the world. She just pointed to the glass with her chin.

His gaze lingered on hers for a moment, then he stretched his hand and took it without breaking eye contact.

'Good texture.' He almost said out loud. It felt like the glass was unbreakable ceramic. Very strong.

He couldn't hold it in anymore. "What do you want?"

Her answer shocked him. "A plane crash." He never met anyone so straightforward.

He was taken aback. He needed something to calm him down. He chugged the wine in one go, even though he still remembered the role of being safe.

Eva? He recognized the taste immediately. He needed something more alcoholic not Eva. He dropped the glass on the table.

"I don't understand." He whispered to himself. She abducted him, only to tell him to help her with a Plane crash? He certainly wasn't...

"I will surely explain." Did she read his mind? "I know you're one of the pilots...."

He snapped back involuntarily. "How did you know?" Wasn't that supposed to be confidential. And he had never seen her in the company the number of times he had been there.

She twirled the wine in her glass leisurely, and a single word floated out her mouth. "Connections." She must have very powerful ones. And she continued, "I don't know how Airplanes work, but maybe, you can sabotage the trip somehow."

He looked her straight in the eye. "If I don't want to?"

She tilted her head and gave him one of her most charming smiles, but the next second, the glass in her hand shattered.

He jumped from the impact of the sound. He looked with wide eyes at the shambles on the floor and looked slowly back at her. Such a slim woman, that looked like she had no ounce of strength in her broke the glass? Worst of all, some glass like this?

She crossed her legs, "does that answer your question?"

The hesitation was obviously apparent in his eyes, and the fear and confusion. "I'll pay you triple what she's paying you. And don't worry about your safety because, you will be protected 100 percent."

With that, he looked up at her. "Fine then." He wasn't going to risk his Life when money was involved.

No Man was a Saint.

He got up and walked to the door, then turned the knob. But, before he went out, he looked over his shoulder and asked, "what's the noun?"

"K." And he walked out.

She gazed at the door long after he went as a victorious smile made its way to her lips, then it advanced to her eyes. Who said money couldn't buy anything and everything? That person just had to have the one that over-flowed.

This time, though he was still blindfolded, he was treated with more respect. He stayed at the passenger seat alone with a Driver and a huge bodyguard beside him. They were just the 3 of them.

When the car stopped, the blindfold was removed. Looking ahead, he saw he was in front of where he wanted to go.

The mall.

And he could see his car looking very normal when parked amidst others. It was like a Man normally parked his car there and nothing out of the normal happened and he might just be in there shopping normally.

How did they know he was coming here?

This was when he knew, he couldn't joke with these people. And he remembered another word.

Connections.

-----

Her gaze lingered on the door minutes after he was gone.

"Wait for my revenge, Twinnie."
