Slowly, a headache crept in making her feel a bit dizzy, she shook her head again but she got dizzier, then she took out a pen from her purse and put it in her mouth.

She took it out later, it wasn't working.

She lay on the chair and used her purse as a pillow to know if the discomfort would reduce, it didn't, but it seemed like all the cells in her head moved to a side making her head heavy. She got up, frustrated as hell and laid her head at the back of the Driver's seat, it still didn't stop.

"Fuck." She breathed. Though the perfect Lady she had been trained to be, this was one of the first times she used such words.

Nevertheless, it seemed a tad bit better.

Great. Just great. When she thought she was beginning to feel better, the temperature began to drop and her teeth started chattering. Worst of all, she was wearing a light, flair, knee-length, pink gown which was nothing compared to her thick, comfy bedsheet at home. She never thought she would feel this happy thinking of home. She closed her eyes, imagining her bed. The thought seemed... Mesmerizing, enticing. When the pain pricked her again, she was forced to let out a groan, or was it a word?

"Faster." Elvin made it out minutes later.

He glanced at her through the mirror, but he couldn't see her face because the chair shielded it.

He focused on driving. Anywhere Erin was, he'd better stay there for a long time. And there was nothing he could do to lessen the Ma'am's anger or pain. Pain and anger, a bad combination, and Erin was going to get the finished product.

Wait.

Pain.

He could lessen that.

-----

"Get out." But he didn't budge. And she didn't care.

Closing the pencil with a click, she pushed her chair back and got up. She walked over to the hanger and grabbed her coat, if he didn't want to leave that was his problem. He was welcome to stay in the office all night long. She grabbed her bag and walked out.

He tsked.

'As cold as always.'

-----

Kimberly's eyes flew open. Was that a screech? She heard Elvin cursing.

Yes.

Yes, it was a screech, and it belonged to her Car.

She sat up and closed her eyes a bit due to the brightness of the head-lamps, to see who was in front of her Car. She opened them bit by bit and she made out a silhouette.

Erin?

She was prepared to open the door but before she could, he was already at her side. He wordlessly handed her a bag through the window, and his hand hung in the air waiting for her to take it.

She could tell already what the contents were, from the transparency of it.

Water and drugs.

For a moment, the thought of slapping the bag off his hand was appealing, but the moment she stretched her hand to, she gripped it, clinging to dear life. The piercing pain she felt, felt like it would split her head in two.

Seeing the discomfort she was in, Erin managed to reach in between the bag, took out the drugs and managed to fling it at her because he couldn't bend due to his height. But in the next second, she was pulled out of her reverie as something cold touched her skin and Erin yanked his hand out of the window, to prevent the rest of the water pouring on her.

Gosh! It was freaking cold, she started shivering and the anger she felt for this idiot beside her rose to a length that her face turned rosy.

She let out her anger in clenching her fists, trying to remain calm. Until, she felt so much pain and a bit of moist smearing her palms. She jerked her hands open and found that the card of drugs had been squeezed in between her palms, the sharp edges dug in her skin, some of the pills which managed to come out were smeared in her blood.

"You should learn to control your anger or you will be ruining a lot of things." Someone told her dryly.

And her brows shot up. She slowly turned to look at Erin, the feeling of anger remembered.

"Repeat that." She ordered, glancing at him from the corner of her eyes, which made him feel like a prey. Still, he kept his cool, not saying a word.

Kimberly gently, slowly, opened the door and it reminded him of wildlife. She stepped out the car and came to stand tall in front of him, her head stopping mere inches below his jaw.

Yes. Kimberly was tall, and Erin was taller.

"You're disobeying me?" She said, looking into his eyes, and he returned her gaze with a tinge of chivalry and lots of bravery. He said nothing and her thread of patience was feeble and dangly.

She waited for his answer. Two minutes, nothing. Five, nothing. Elvin's teeth had started to chatter by then, still Erin said nothing and he felt like jumping out of the car and choking the words out of him. Kimberly scoffed.

"Jasmine sure is giving you some morale, isn't she, now? But before you go overboard, I must advice you. The sooner you start knowing who your boss is, and who you're answerable to, the better. You do nothing without my permission, especially things concerning her. You do things for her and after that, you find your way, she doesn't even care if I kill you as far as you satisfy her sadistic impulses and you know it, still you keep going after her," she breathed in air through clenched teeth like she was in pain for him and looked away, "and that just makes me wonder what is going on between the two of you. But mind you, whatever it is, I don't care. You answer to me. And just me. I know we're clear." She said and got into the car, appreciating its warmth.

Erin stared after the Car as it dusted off. Her actions lately were very weird, plus she had that scent all over her.

For some reason, it seemed ominous. He called Jasmine up immediately.

He could hear her tired breath from the other side. "What is it, Erin? Didn't you just leave my Office? Why must you keep calling me by this time of the night? And make sure it's for a good cause, you won't appreciate what I'll do to you if it isn't."

He could find a lot of truth in Kimberly's words.

Jasmine didn't care what happened to him, he was just a tool for being used, and being frank to himself, he knew he knew it. Jasmine didn't regard people as equals, how could she care about them? And even if others thought of her as impossibly narcissistic, the pure truth was,

Nobody could equal her.

He clenched his teeth as he stared into the darkness Kimberly and Elvin had just disappeared into.

"I think they have her."

Jasmine switched her phone to the left ear as she turned on her Laptop to start work. "Who has whom?"

"The Casters," she froze, "they have your Sister."
