Ian woke up the next morning. He remained on the bedding for some time, wondering why Tristan had not shown up, before he had to freshen up for a new day. He came out with a towel wrapped around his waist as he took leisure strides to the lamp stand to check the time.

A knock came on his door just then.

"Come in." He said, thinking it was Tristan.

It wasn't. A female Hotel Attendant stood at the door, but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the person in front of her. The man was half naked and there was water dripping from his hair.

She wasn't ready for that kind of sight so early morning, but she couldn't bring herself to look away. Her hands got wet as she glanced around nervously, involuntarily, her gaze fell on his stomach and her cheeks heated. She looked up at his upper torso in order to distract herself, but realized he might get the idea she was checking him out and fixed her eyes on something else behind him.

Wait. Wasn't that 8 packs?

She looked at him again to confirm.

'Oh, it's 6.'

The ringing of the alarm clock jolted her from her reverie of thoughts and she realized her stupidity had reached its peak.

"What is it?" Ian asked, starting to get impatient. Was she here for something or was it just to check him out?

"Uhm," she started embarrassed, realizing she had been caught in the act, "this arrived for Mr. Ian Crane, and that must be you?"

"It is." He confirmed, throwing the bag a look.

She held it out to him. He walked over and had his fingers brush over hers while taking it, and out of impulse, she let go of it nervously. It thudded to the floor, causing them to take involuntary steps.

She peered up to find him giving her a look that seemed to say, 'don't be so clumsy. It fell. pick it up.' And there she was, thinking her stupidity had reached its peak. If she felt like that then now, she was hoping the ground would open up and swallow her, even if it meant her death.

"I'm so sorry. Very sorry." She apologized profusely, bending down to pick it up. But it seemed she underestimated the weight of the bag and it fell again. Embarrassment made her scarlet to the neck. She bent once more and managed to snatch it up, then carefully handed it to him.

"You can leave."

"Sorry again. Sorry."

He was getting extremely irritated and what he meant came out worse than he wanted it to sound, "get out!"

She scampered off, realizing this single moment was worse than all the embarrassments she ever felt in her whole life put together. Maybe it was because, he was the most breathtaking Man she ever came across. Or because he seemed super rich, she couldn't tell.

Ian threw the bag on a divan, yanking the zip open to sate his curiosity. Curious as to who sent it and whatever it was... He was left senselessly speechless.
