BIRTH OF THE ICE PHOENIX

Monica anonymously called 911. She wanted to make sure Mr. Henry to burial. She remember him telling her that he had a son who was coming to see him soon.

Monica knew she had to end this today before Redeye had time to recover. She knew there was only 1 place he could be going. Back to the storage area with the rest of his thugs.

"Alright men we've gotta high alert tonight. Im sure the little brat will be making her way here soon and i don't feel like dealing with her. So if i have to deal with her myself im dealing with of you to. Either she is only 1 who's dies or im the only 1 who lives" "yes sir"

Monica walked right through the front gate destroying anyone getting in her way. Monica gracefully using her fire and ice powers as well as her fighting together was a beautiful sight. Beautiful but deadly

"Hey Redeye you gonna keep sending your goons to get knocked on their asses or you gonna come get your ass whoopin like a man"

Redeye frustratingly watched from his office as Monica was took out his men 1 by 1. He was so mad dat he punched a table in his office breaking it into pieces. Then he got hisself together before walking out to face Monica.

"Are you sure you want to die tonight little girl. Your so young and you have your whole life ahead of you. No need to get yourself killed because your mad"

Monica didn't respond. She just stared at Redeye with hate in her eyes. Finally she got in her fighting stance. Redeye chuckled then got in his fighting stance as well.

Monica quickly blasted a beam of ice on the ground toward Redeye's feet attempting to froze his feet to the floor. Redeye jumped to evade the attack. Monica followed up by projecting a huge block of ice at him

Redeye kicked the huge block of ice shattering it. "Please tell me you have a plan and not just shot fire and ice all day. I knew a few you super people. You have these special abilities and think your better than everyone else. I will bring you and everyone in this city down to it's knees with natural talent. You can think the old man for that"

Monica still remained silent. She was in a deep focus like never before. She rushed with a fury of punches and kicks. Redeye was able to dodge and block all his attacks but he was surprised by how much she improved since that night in the alley

Monica kept swinging until redeye grabbed her wrist. She let off a blast of fire burning a his mask and his face. Redeye grabbed screaming in pain. Hearing redeye scream made Monica crack a little smile while redeyeface was revealed for the first time.

She engulfed her fist in flames and unleashed a fury of punches each 1 scalding him. Then her powers switched to ice and her fist are now frozen. She hit him with a 2 piece to the stomach the a haymaker to the face sending him back in his office.

Redeye stepped back out with with a very angry look on his face. Then suddenly his face went from angry to calm. He closed his eyes and took 3 deep breaths. Monica started to panic alittle because she knew what he was doing.

Mr. Wells would use the technique called total peace. When Mr. Wells used this technique he was unstoppable.

"I can feel your confidence fading child it's obvious master never taught you this. If you know what this then you know it's over. No shame in running away you are still a little girl after all"

Monica still said nothing. She just got back into her fighting stance. Redeye rushed her but she raised a wall of ice. He broke the wall easily still coming at Monica. She jumped back and tried to raise another ice wall but it was to late. Redeye was in her face before she could make a move.

Redeye punch her with incredible force. Monica went flying back but Redeye grabbed her ankles tossing her into the air. Redeye then jumped over and punched her 3 times as she fell to the ground.

Monica was in so much pain but ahe fought through it and was able to get back on her feet.

"Your tougher than i thought little one. I was sure you was gonna be knocked out. I truly wish you was on our side. Think about what's next after this. If you somehow beat me what are going to do after. You can't have any family im trying to make you part of mine".

"Im gonna take down you and your so called family Angelo. You picked the wrong city to try to take over. This city already belongs to me and by the end of the night you'll know too".

Redeye smiled and went back on the attack but Monica let out a arctic blast freezing the floor around her. Redeye was to close to adjust so he slipped and Monica hit him with a knee to the face.

That hit barely phased redeye but Monica was wasn't backing down. She formed 2 blocks of ice on her hands striking him hard as she could.

Redeye was blocking and evading all the punches and kicks but Monica refused to let up. She was combining her kicks and punches with fire and ice powers perfectly but nothing could get threw Redeye's defense

Redeye finally threw a punch hitting her in the stomach. Monica dropped to her knees. Redeye followed up with a uppercut knocking her into the air. He caught both of her ankles and viciously slammed her into the ground. Monica never felt so much pain in her life.

Monica laid there in so much pain she wanted to scream but she wasn't going to give redeye the satisfaction. He leaped into the air and tried to stomp Monica's head but she was able to move in time. But by the time she got back to her feet Redeye kicked her back to the ground. Redeye knew Monica couldn't last much longer. He pulled out a knife and walked up to her.

"You like knives little girl? Our master hated them. He hated all weapons really. He thought all fights should be hand to hand but i think it's more fun with a weapon. Don't worry im knife gonna knife you like a did master. You may not think so now but your gonna work for me. Your gonna be my new weapon in my army. I just gotta break you first".

Redeye stabbed the knife into the ground right beside Monica's head. Then he picked her up and put her into a bear hug. Monica couldn't hide her pain anymore. She let a loud scream that only made Redeye squeeze tighter.

Right when Monica couldn't take it anymore her body went completely numb and her eyes changed colors. One was red and the other blue. Suddenly a intense heat came from her body. The heat was so hot redeye had to release her and step back.

Then her powers switched to ice and it felt like they were in the middle of a ice storm. Redeye tried to fight through the numbing cold and speed blitz her but the cold slowed him down a little bit. Monica dodged and her powers switched back to fire.

She punched in the back and heat from her fist left burn mark on him. Her body became even hotter. She was to for Redeye to even get close to her. Suddenly her whole body was covered in flames. Her body started raising off the ground like she was floating.

She grabbed Redeye by his shirt and flames started projected out of her body surrounded circling them then her powers switched to ice rapidly changing them flames to ice.

Monica had lost all control as her powers switched ever second. The repeated change from scolding hot to blistering cold sent Redeye's body onto shock.

Finally Monica gained control of herself. She didn't really didn't know what happened but she Redeye laying there motionless. He was barley alive. Monica went and picked up the knife redeye had stuck into the ground.

"So this is it huh little girl? I killed master with a knife so you get revenge by killing me the same way. I guess this makes both of his students killers. I guess wasn't that great of a master hahaha".

"No im nothing like you. Im not gonna kill you. But your gonna spend the rest of your life wishing you was dead."

Monica flipped Redeye on his back and stabbed him in his back touching his spine. "Now you how to spend the rest of your life like Mr. Henry found you. Helpless and alone"

Monica stood over Redeye as he laid there screaming in pain. As she turned and walked she noticed some of Redeye's thugs were coming to. "If i every see another redeye gang member you get the same thing he got. Do i make myself clear."

As Monica walked out someone stood in the shadows watching. She could feel their eyes on her. Suddenly somebody stepped out of the darkness. It was the masked hero fade

"Looks like i got her a little to late huh Monica". "Your masked guy who's been all over the news. Wait how do you know my name."

Fade didn't answer he just atood there a minute then took of his mask. Monica mouth dropped when she saw his face.

"We've got some things to talk about young lady"
