Chapter 1 : Death & Goddess

After finishing my part-time job, I was heading towards my apartment as usual. Recently I have been wondering, "Is there any meaning in the life that I am living?"

My name is Rahul, I am your every-day University student with a slight difference,that is, unlike the other University students I have no time to enjoy my youth . I am an orphan who is studying under a student loan and moreover I also have to earn for my daily expenses and rent of the apartment. Everyday I have the same routine - Wake up, go to classes, then go to my part-time job and then home. At this point of life the only thing that I enjoy a lot is reading fanfiction and novels mostly.

Nobody will befriend a guy like me who is basically a machine with a fixed routine and never participate in any social gatherings or competitive.

Basically I am a salted fish with no ambitions but love for the fanfiction l read and yearn to get transmigrated to a place of my choice with some wishes and live a happy life there and making a name for myself.

But one day when I am returning from my work I happened to see a kid crossing the road without noticing the truck moving towards him and I thought he would slow down after noticing the kid but he was speaking to someone else on the phone or simply to say quarrelling with someone and in desperation to save the kid I got hit by the truck and ..... died.

I happened to see myself in a white cuboid shaped room without any exit or entrance sitting in a chair facing a woman's who was the most beautiful person I had ever seen in my life with blonde hair, blue eyes and wearing a flawless white dress with a table separating us.

I was stunned seeing her beautiful face and thought 'Damn, what a beautiful women?'

The woman had a very beautiful smile plastered on her which gave me a divine feeling like my mind is free without any worries or tension.

so I spoke to her first by saying "Hello mam"

"Hello"

"Could you please tell me where am I right now?" , I asked

"You are at the nexus between death and rebirth", she answered.

"Then I am really dead", I said in a gloomy tone, I know that I died but I am unable to accept the news with a peaceful mind.

After calming myself for a while I inquired her by saying,"May I know who you are ? "

while I asked this question the smile on her face became widened, perhaps she was waiting for this.

"I am the goddess of reincarnation", she claimed.

"And I am here to reincarnate you into a world of your choice with five wishes and memory intact", she added.

I was taken a back as this was lifelong dream to get transmigrated into a world of my choice with some wishes and almost shouted loud due to happiness but still I questioned her, "Why are you giving me this chance?"

"you are just selected randomly from the souls that are going to get reincarnated as I want to prank the goddess responsible for your rebirth in her absence.", she answered patiently.

"In case of reincarnating in a world of anime, manga or such you can further choose the timeline and place of your birth", she added

The moment she said that I was on cloud nine as I can get reincarnate in a world of my choice.

"I want to reincarnate in the world of Naruto", I answered in a breath.
